Hi,
I have a suggestion for the videos and updates... We see that all the time people create new topics asking for videos or updates and that too in a misleading manner where people think that the video has posted... and today a really rude topic with bad language has been posted in the KSBKBT Section, asking for videos... and if u notice, all newbies post such topics or maybe some existing groupies who create a new account for themselves...
My suggestion is why dont u make a rule that only a senior or maybe a Groupie or above can post new topics and not newbies... until they are acquainted with the rules...
This way the senior members wouldnot want a warning... therwise when newbies get warnings, they simply create a new account

Its a nice suggestion, but how can a newbie become a groupie and later a senior member if he/she isnt allowed to post? e get promoted to higher ranks by making posts... 😳

hey ive got an idea! when newbies join IF their posts get moderated before they are posted in the forum and the dev team for that section can deal with it...

yeah, like... even I have never posted any topics... maybe just 2 or 3... but I am a groupie finally... Newbies can participate in discussions... or maybe if the new topics they post are not directly posted to the IF... Instead they are held for approval by the moderators...
as u know, a groupie or a senior member would not want his account to be banned... so they will try not to post abusive or irritating posts... whereas some newbies do that and they continue creating new accounts for themselves..
we also know that warnings and requests to these specific newbies has not helped at all

I don't agree..when I was a newbie..it took me ages to finally write a post..and nobody really replied (that kinda hurt)

If you guys want to expand I-F, then newbies should have the freedom to write what they want, provided it's within the rules..otherwise you'll drive ppl away..not everybody is that comfortable to post on the internet.

Besides..who has the time to moderate every post? Isn't I-F a massive forum..some mods and admins don't have time to reply to PMs..I seriously doubt they'll have the time and energy to moderate every post..I think you guys should keep the current system as it is.

If you want to tackle the problem of bad language etc, a feature should be added whereby swear words and other inappropriate language should automatically be censored. i.e. If some one posts "f**k" (mind that pls) then it will come out as **** ...then the mods can decide whether or not to close the topic..

Ah okay..I just realised that there is already a feature for that..so ignore my last point..basically, to cut a long story short (and for those who are too lazy to read my first post lolz) I think u should keep the current system as it is..good suggestion though 😊

yea..wow..i really like this idea now..cuz a lot of the newbies and groupies are the ones who disrupt our forums with such acts and what shakil said is the best thing to do!!😉

The current system is fine

Many times newbies need to ask a question or need help - they open topics for that. That is perfectly acceptable.

Otherwise if they can't open topics, how will they ask for help? Most of them don't know about PM or where videos or posted etc in the beginning.
