Every1 was shocked because that episode was symbolic- it meant that sneha has rejected bajaj as her father and accepted anurag as her father.

It was a tight slap to bajaj- all that he did for her for 30 yrs...didnt mean anything to her. That's what she proved. I dont know abt others, but I started believing that she was dead as sneha bajaj ,and reborn as sneha basu on that day :)
Now she is only anurag's daughter, not bajaj's!

See this is what I don't understand...Sneha calling Anurag Papa showed that she realizes that Anurag made a mistake and forgave him for not accepting her as his daughter when she was conceived...she accepted the fact that Anurag was her biological father and loves her a lot and deserves some respect from her...now why would this mean that she rejected Bajaj as her father?? She never rejected him!! She hardly called Anurag Papa after her wedding...she still refers to him as uncle!!

but sneha's behaviour towards bajaj changed after anu came into her life. and sneha used to call anu 'papa' all the time after her wedding. nothing wrong in accepting anu. he surely is a gr8 guy and deserves all the love from every1 around him :) but then- the way sneha made anurag the most important person in her life (i wont get married if anurag isnt present)....it surely was unfair to bajaj , as HE and prerna should hv been the most important persons in her life as they hv done every duty of parents for her. anurag should hv been below Mr and Mrs Bajaj in sneha's priority list. But she made anurag more important than Mr and Mrs bajaj. that wasn't correct. and see what she got !!! she is leading a loser's life for 5 yrs and anurag is busy romancing sam !!! that is why NOW she is insulting anurag and has stopped calling him papa and is crying for her original Dad now. but it's too late. she had broken the relationship with bajaj with her own hands and in her own free will. I hope bajaj ignores her too !!! (but i know he won't. he will be again busy getting sneha's life back on track the day he is back. he will sort out sneha's life like a responsible Dad, and THEN- the new improved sneha will again go back to calling anurag 'papa' and praising anurag's sacrifices, leaving bajaj once more!!! Well, that's Junior Pendulum for u !!!)
