Known to be superstitious, Swetta recently changed the spelling of her name, for no apparent reason at all.

"In certain situations or even relationships, when you make a Herculean effort to make things work, and the other party can't seem to be bothered, what else can you put it down to?" she asks.

Karma Cola: "Swetta says that she has seen relationships
fizzle out even when those involved care deeply about each other. This can only be put down to "past karma". "They weren't meant to be, for whatever reason," she says. A firm believer in karma, she says that though the idea of good deeds being rewarded and bad deeds being punished has firm roots in her mind, they don't always propel her to act a particular way. "I don't allow my faith in pre-ordained destiny make me lazy. You can't take such a benign concept and turn it into an excuse for laziness."
