I think I've discussed this many a times with friends in this forum but it looks like SRK prefers who he works with than the script. He tends to select people who he's comfortable with rather than going for a good story or output rather. This strikes gold sometimes but not always. Anyhow that's his method of selection
Yeah they somehow manage to make that one good movie so we can forgo the likes of Kareena and SRK despite their bad script sense. There are other actors in the industry who make much more grave mistakes and are invisible at present
