Substance Story

The story is about two brothers who end up marrying the same woman in different eras of their lives. Running parallel is the story of Bari (Faisal Shah) and Roshi (Hiba Ali). Bari is a middle class errand boy while Roshi is a haveli owner's daughter. Things take a turn when Roshi runs away from the house, exposing the haveli's secrets, which had hitherto been concealed from all. Skeletons in the closet include the enticing Jhoomar, the beautiful daughter in law of the haveli owner married to the handicapped son (Zafri), and Mutaraba, the servant girl who is held prisoner in the dungeons because of her scheming which had destroyed the haveli's peace and tranquility.

Description of characters

Dilawar Ali Khan (Baba Sahib) is a feudal lord. Dilawar Ali Khan 's Havili is like a prison. In this Havili nobody can think and do without Dilawar Ali Khan 's permission.

Yawar Ali khan is a MP and lives in Karachi. He is a talented, well-educated and busy person who has never time for his children.

Taimoor Ali Khan is younger brother of Yawar Ali Khan and he lives in Dariya Basti with his family.

Abdul Bari is a confident boy and obvious for Baba Sahib. Bari is Son of Abdul Mehmidi who was the best friend of Taimoor Ali Khan. After His death Taimoor Ali Khan took Bari in Havili and Baba Sahib because of his faithfulness gave him a special position in Havili which have not any Grand son of Baba Sahib. Bari is talented and has a reliable personality in Havili. Everyone calls him for advice. Baba Sahib doesn't refuse his says.

Roshane is daughter of Yawar Ali Khan. Her mother was dead but nobody knows what happened with her. Not any picture of her mother. Roshane is a stubborn girl but she is kind, loveable, cute and heartfelt girl.

In Havili

Zafri Bhai 's marriage is endorsed with Jhoomar, in very suspense and surreptitious situation. Zafri is a disable person and son of Alamtab. Girls want to sing songs and arrange a "Dhulak". When they start singing. Alamtab and other ladies scold them.

Roshane (Roshi) convinced Bari to let her go to Zafri's wife because she wants to see her.
Roshane seen Zafri 's wife, she is so beautiful.

In Karachi

Maheen, His father and Brother Noman came to Uganda recently. Maheen is younger sister of Nazneen, who was mother of Roshane and Jawad and wife of Yawar Ali Khan. After Nazneen marriage. Her family had gone Uganda and there they reached the news of Nazneen death. Now they return. Maheen want to meets, her nephew and nice who are belong to her age group.

First she meets her brother in law, Yawar Ali Khan. She impressed with his personality. Yawar Ali Khan Also Impress with her because of her confident and strong ness.

Alamtab and other women of Havili confuse that why she come to Havili after so long.

Maheen enters into Havili with Bati. Every one welcomes her with open arms but elder generation scared. They briefed to younger to take distance with her.

First day she can't meets Roshane but she met Jawad.


In the Mid night, she wakes up because of the voice of Zangeer. Maheen come out of her room.She sees Bari and a wonam who grifs with chain. Bari says to the woman, go into your room and why you come out.If Kaka jan seen you here its would be more bad,please go into your room.

Woman says to Bari, Bari please I want to stay here, I want to take fresh breath please let me stay here. Bari says, if kaka Jan see you here he give you more punishment. She says, my life is still a punishment.

Just then a car come and stop in the front of them.

A well dress and graceful man come out and scold her and says, how you come out form your room? Where is Sirasvatii Bari?

Before the answering Bari, she interrupt and says, nobody is guilty except me and hum aap Kay sab se bade mujrim hain Khan kye hamari wajah se aap ka sab se ziada nuqsan howa hai.

Sirasvatii come then he scolds her and tell take her in the room. Then he leaves with Bari.
All happening is shocked Maheen. She goes to bad think about that.

in the morning she also think about night happening.
She meets Roshane .Roshane sees her and feel so happy and says to her,Khala why you come to us so long,you know when i see you then i feel that my mother come to me.Maheen feel sad to hear about her sister.Maheen come toward her and hugs her.
Maheen says,who is leaving in back yard?
Roshane says,khala ,Zafri bhai and his with live there but why you asked that?
Maheen says,no but just then Alamtab come and intrrupt and says,roshane.

Alamtab enter in the room and says to Roshane, come on now your khala take rests, go baba sahib calling you. Roshane see toward Bade Bib i Jan (Alamtab) in eyes to eyes she says to go. She goes to Baba sahib. On the door she ask to come. Baba sahib says, come on. She says, baba sahib you calling me? Baba sahib says, yes you met your khala? She says, yes baba sahib. Baba sahib says, ok. Baba sahib says, I was hearing that you stuns to all, Why you gone back yard who take you there? Roshane says, I gone alone and I want to see Jhoomar bhabi. Baba sahib shout, its mean you rebellious to my said, go and get your packing today, no just at this moment you would go Karachi. She has tears in her eyes. She opens her mouth to say something but baba sahib says, go and pack your necessary things and I don't want any argument.

Maheen goes to other part of Havili and meet other family members. She talking about Jawad and Roshane and remembering her sister. But she feels that no body wants to talk on this topic.

Roshane in her room and packing her things and talking to her self no body love me, my mother left me on my birth and live alive I can't feel him because he is not also care of me. Bibi Jan and baba sahib they also don't love me.

The entire cousin come in her room and says, where you going? She talking rudely and says, why I tell you where I going. Shino Appa says, oh Ladoo is irritated to us, why you go to back yard. This punishment. Roshi says, ok it's my punishment, what's your problem. Other cousin stops shino Appa and show sympathy with her and says, leave shino Appa 's talk, you know her habit, please don't worry every thing will be all right.

Shino Appa says, may be next time baba sahib give you a beautiful punishment like marriage.

Roshane shout, Shino Appa I think this punishment you deserve, don't worry about me ok take care your self. Just then Guloo came and says, baba sahib say that driver is ready and waiting for you.

In Hari pur Havili Yaavar Ali khan sitting garden and thinking about her wife. Her wife Nazneen was a very beautiful woman. Yaavar Ali Khan loves her very much. He remembering a moment when they were going to a party, Nazneen in her room and talking herself, how much time I wear this dress but now she says that I surly wear it today also. Just then Yaavar Ali Khan enter in the room and says, what happening why you're beautiful face beautify with red color. She says, Amo Jan says that I wear my marriage dress again for this party, what I do? Please do something. He says, ok wear another sari and tell them that you dressing up to my favorite dress. She shy and says to him, you are so cheater, you know I can't do this; you are not fed up with this dress. He make a strong laugh and says, if you would be wear this dress whole life I would not fed up because, when I come to near you I only see your lovely face. She was shy and smiles cutely. Just then his imagine broke because of servant 'he says, Baba sahib call for you he is surprise to hear that.

Roshane come out to her room and goes to Alamtab 's room and says her good bye. She says, why you disobey baba sahib 'rules. I think best solutions of this problem that get you're your marriage soon. Roshane shocked to hear that.

Roshane goes to Bari room. Bari sees her and says, Roshi Bibi what happening why you looks angry? Roshane says, Bari baba sahib say you something about me? Bari says, why he tells me about you and if he tells me, why you suppose that I will tell you? Roshane says, its means he tells you, please Bari tell me. Bari smiling and says, Roshane Bibi! You would be known later and don't worry. Roshane become angry and says, tum baba sahib kye chamche Allah karye tumhain bhi aisi hi mushkil ka samna karna padye. Bari laugh and says, wasye tu main aap ki tarhah harkatin nahi karta agar phir bhi muh par aap jisi musibat aye tu main Kisi sye sikayat nahi kar ta hoon. Roshane says, I know you have srong will power and due to this you give others anguish. She have tear in her eyes and leave from there. Bari sees her to leave with pain.

Mama bili come to Bari and says, Khan, Baba sahib calling you. Bari says, Ok you may go.

Bari enters in baba sahib 's room and says, yes Baba sahib you calling me. Baba sahib says, yes Bari I want to talk you on an argent matter, have you know Kaleem uddin who is a big business man. Bari says, yes Baba sahib I know him, I was meet him one time in Dariya Basti and second time in Karachi. Baba sahib asks, what you opinion about their nature and status. Bari says, they are good and well status. Baba sahib says, what your opinion about his son Naeenuddin? Bari little shocked but not show. He says, yes first time in Karachi, he is a goon man and has sweet nature. Baba sahib says, Kaleemuddin says to me about Roshane for Naeemuddin, what you say? Bari shocked and says, it's your opinion Baba sahib but Naeemuddin have little education and Roshane Bibi. Baba sahib irrupt him and says, I know but it's not important.

Baba sahib says, ok you make arrange the meeting with him and I want to talk with Alamtab. Bari says, ok baba sahib doesn't worry. Baba sahib toward to door and turn and says, nobody knows about it before time. And he leaves the room. Bari goes into deep thinking.

After finish her tour to meeting with all family members, Maheen returns her room. Yawar Ali Khan also reaches the Havili from Hari pur. On dinning table they meets. Every senior member of family o the dinning table. Maheen asked about Roshane. Alamtab says, all the youngest have dinner other side and after lunch you can meet them. Maheen finish her lunch.

After dinner she want to meet her but she was not in Havili. She become know that Roshane gone to Karachi in noon. Maheen become angry and says to Yawar Ali Khan, I think that you don't want that I meet her. Alamtab says, No why we want like that but this is her step and this is her habit to tense every one. Yawar Ali Khan Also says, she is stubborn girl and makes her decision. But Maheen not satisfied but she don't say anything.

In the room, Jhoomar is brushing her hair. Zafri Bhai says to her, come on play with me. Jhoomar says, I 'm not your servant. Zafri says, but mama says that you done whom I say, like mama bili and sarsvati. Jhoomar says, and then you have to marriage with sarsvati or Mama bili why you marriage with me. Zafri says, what is marriage? Jhoomar has tears in her eyes and says; I also not know what is marriage.

In Karachi Roshane reached. She asked about Yawar Ali khan, servant says that he is in Hari pur. She goes in her room and thinks about baba sahib, Alamtab and Bari 's talks and says, Bari tumain tu meri badua lagaye gi and tears comes in her eyes.

Just then phone ball rings. She picks up the phone. Bari is other side. Bari says, do you reach Karachi with comfortably. Roshane says, Bari, Allah humse naraz hai jabhi tu tumhari awaz sune Kaye liye humain zinda rakaha hai. Bari says, good Baduaoon main teezi aagayi hai, aap ki awaz saye lagta hai Kaye aap thik thak hain aur khariat sye pohanch gayi hain. She says, Bari you always burning my heart and she cut the phone. Bari thinking her says and an injured smile come on his face.

In Havili baba sahib call Alamtab and says to her, Alamtab do you know kaleem uddin family. Alamtab says, yes but not lots, but why you asking me? Kakasahab sys, they want Roshane 's hand for their son Naeemuddin. Alamtab says, its good but she is not complete her education and big matter that what Yawar Ali khan says about her marriage. Baba sahib says, Yawar Ali Khan not problem but I want this responsibility paid as soon as possible, but not necessary that we definite her marry with Naeemuddin, we have more options. Alamtab says, yes Baba sahib.

Yawar Ali Khan says to Maheen, I 'm going to Karachi if you want to go you can come with me but I have little work in Hari pur and I will stay their one-day. Maheen says, Ok by the way Roshane still not here and Noman Bhai call me that Papa 's condition not better; I think I will come with you Yawar Bhai.

Yawar Ali Khan says, Ok you get packing your luggage, in the evening we will go.

In Karachi Roshane think about Baba sahib and Bari 's talking and stressed .She call Bari. Bari pick the phone and says, hello kasye yaad kia? Roshane says, Bari tumhari Baba sahib say baat houi, WO mare mutaliq kuch kehrahe tahye. Bari became angry and says rudely, main aap ki walda nahi hoon jo wo mujhsay aap Kaye mutaliq baat karain gay. He also says, aap khud parashnian khareedti hain aur phir dosroon ko problem main daldeti hain. Tears come in her eyes and she says, Bari sub saye bade musibat tu tum hoo, main tumhain kabhi maaf nahi karoon gi aur agar logoon ko mujhsye taklif hai tu ainda main kisi ko taklif main nahi daloon gi and she cut the phone. Bari feels bad for her.

In Havili everyone see off Maheen with presents and Alamtab says, we wish you came again here.

Roshane weeping in her room and says to herself, I get problem for everyone. I 'm wrong and everyone right, what I do of that stone. Would be Better that I left my life? She goes in kitchen and says to servant that have she poison. Servant shocked. Servant asked that what she do with poison. Roshane says, I want it for plants warm. Servant gives her poison and says, be careful it's strong. Roshane says, don't give me advice I 'm not baby.

She goes into her room. She says to herself, now everyone would be know that I can do and may stone melt. She opens the bottle and drinks it. Meanwhile servant comes into her room asking for dinner. She saw that Roshane fall down on her bed. She comes shocked to see the bottle on her hand and fear. She suddenly calls other servants and picks the bottle her hand and hides it. Then she calls Bari to give this information that Roshane drink the insect killer poison. Bari says, what you say, ok we will come soon and get her hospital quickly and hide the true with doctor whether we not come there.

Servants reach the hospital with Roshane. They says that in unknowing she drink insects poison. Doctor

Treatment her. Just then Roshane uncle and cousins who live in Karachi reach the hospital. Bari informs them.

Bari goes to baba sahib and informs him to what Roshane done. Baba sahib shocked.

Bari Inform Baba sahib that Roshane attempt to committed suicide. Baba sahib shocked to hear that and he become angry. Baba sahib says to Bari, do you inform Alamtab and other Family members. Bari says, No Baba sahib but I informed Aka Jan in Karachi to reach hospital. Baba sahib says, well. Then Baba sahib says, ok go and get ready to go Karachi and I get her marry in a week with any honorable family person. Bari shocked to hear that but he doesn't show it on Baba sahib.

Baba sahib calls to Mama bili to calling Alamtab. Alamtab enter the room and that Baba sahib rotate here and there. She says, yes Baba sahib you calling me, what happening? Why you look angry and tense? Baba sahib says, Roshane committee suicide in Karachi. Alamtab shocked. She says, oh My Allah, why she tortures herself and us also. She also says, do you tell Yawar Ali Khan, No and you also not tell him he is still having many problems. Baba sahib says, I want to get her marry as soon as possible. Alamtab says, ok. Bari enters in the room. He sees Alamtab and says, baba sahib everything ready to go. Baba sahib says, ok wait for me I'm just coming. Baba sahib goes into his room. Alamtab Asks to Bari, who inform you? Bari says, servant informs me. Alamtab says, she is alone in servants. Bari says, no I called to Aka Jan to reached Hospital. Alamtab says, Good. Baba sahib come and says, Bari come lets go.

In hari pur they reached in Havili. Yawar Ali Khan says to Maheen ok Maheen so and get fresh then we take dinner. On dinner table they take dinner and drink coffee. Yawar Ali khan says, did you call to Noman? Maheen says, No Yawar Bhai but he call me and says, papa is better then yesterday but I want to see him early. Yawar Ali Khan says, if you want to go tomorrow I will call Bari who takes you Karachi. Maheen says, No Yawar Bhai I don't mean it I will wait for you for one day, no problem and she smile. Yawar Ali Khan smiles also. She sees him to smile and says, Yawar Bhai since when I come here and meet with you first time I see you to smile. Yawar says, No you only feel otherwise nothing any happened and ok you take rest night is over because this is a village and nights in village come early. Maheen go to her room and think about Yawar and Havili 's members' behavior. She can't able to sleep. She comes into the garden where a swimming pool status .she sees Yawar Ali khan who reading any book. She comes to him. She sees that he read, "Hayat-e-Jawed". She says, Amazing I can't able to believe that you read books like that. Yawar says, you awake or you are not sleep. She says, I have not able to sleep here. Yawar says, oh I think due to new place. Yawar also says, Maheen these types of book give us Shaoor-e- Zindagi aur zindagi ki purasrariat (mystery of life) ko jaane main madad karti hain.

Maheen says, you are right Yawar Bhai, when I live in Havili I feel there surreptitious. Yawar shocked to hear that and what you seen there. He looks serious. She says, nothing but I feel behavior of there. Then she says, ok I want to sleep and she go to her room.

In hospital doctors treat Roshane and she come out of danger. In general ward she laid on the bed then Bari enter in the room, when she see him shout why you came here, oh I see you want to see my bed condition. She shout go from there I don't want to see you here. You are my enemy. Bari says, you get problem yourself and take blame on others. Why you take this decision? You know if death was the solution of every problem then half a world committed suicide. Roshane shout again and says, go away form here out I don't want to se you here. Just then Baba sahib come into the room and says, he will not go anywhere he is with me.

Baba sahib scolds her and tells her that she comes to him on decision point and he had taken decision for her life. And he also says that Bari live here with her.

Baba sahib go and Bari sit on the chair and says, you only give tension to everyone and nothing more and nobody hurt except you. She weeping and scolds him that everything is due to him. She also says, why you not answering me on phone. Bari says, I work on time and that time was not answering if you not like my presence here you can call Baba Sahib.

In the Havili girls talking about Roshane 's Absence then Alamtab come and said them that Roshane

Committed suicide and Baba sahib was so agree then you all not diatribe him. Shino Apa says, I had known she would be done same thing. Mona says, Apa Aap bhi na, she eat poison by mistake otherwise she have no problem. Shino Apa says by the way where is Bari? Guloo says, he has gone with baba sahib to Karachi.

Alamtab and Raisa begum were talks about Roshi 's suicide. Alamtab says, she is a foolish girl, how she has disturb us and specially baba sahib, if Yawar come to now all he will very disturb and become tense. Raisa says, oh my poor brother always life give him grief. Alamtab says, tomorrow she returns home and I will see what happening with her and I think Baba sahib say right that better solution is that we get her marry soon.

In hospital Bari says to Roshane, tomorrow you will discharge but baba sahib give you punishment it's my thinking. Roshane shocked and asked that which kind of punishment. Bari says, may be its will be beautiful punishment. Roshane shocked to hear that.

Roshane says, what do you mean that? Bari says, Roshi Bibi you not take burden on your small mind.

He also says, today you will discharge and going with us Bade Havili. Roshane look at him angry.

In the Havili all girls are talking about Roshane. Alamtab come and says all the girls that don't talk about her because baba sahib doesn't like it and today Roshane return home. After that saying Alamtab leave the room. Shino Apa says, baba sahib is so angry with Roshane and he definitely gets her marriage soon and it a right decision but Roshane will not agree on it. Mona says, how you know that? Shino says, if you not agree with me, you can ask to Bari. Mona says, how Bari knows that? Shino says he knows everything. Resham bhabi says, shino you are impossible and lug the talks where. Shino has smile on her.

Yawar Ali Khan and Maheen reached Karachi. Maheen says to Yawar that he trop her on her home and meet with her father. Yawar says, ok. But just then Yawar 's cell phone rings. He picked the phone this phone from DC house and an argent call for him. Yawar says on phone. Ok I 'm just coming. He cut the phone and looks at her. Maheen says, no problem I will go and don't worry I call Noman Bhai and he will receive me, you can go DC house because it's important. Yawar say sorry to her and make promises to come soon at her home and meet her father. Maheen says, it's not only my father Yawar Bhai; he is your relative also. Yawar smile injured and says, off course not.

Bari baba sahib and Roshane reached Havili. Baba sahib has gone in his room. Bari was also gone in his room.

Everyone enter in her room and asked to her health condition. But Alamtab scolds them and says,koi zaroorat nahi hai itni mohabat ki isye, bada teer maar kar aai hain na jo itni aao bhagat kar rahe hain aap loog , jaoo sab apne apne kaamraye main. Everyone gone. Alamtab says to Roshane, tum naye meri tarbiat ko jhota sabit kia hai Roshi,baba sahib ki hokum aadoli karkaye meri parwarish ko bekar kar dia tum naye,aab theek socha hai baba sahib naye kaye tumhara kia kiia jaye ga.she also sayswith sorrow,tumhain aapne baap par bhi reham nahi aata,waise bhi woo kam parishan hai kaye tum aur parishnian badaha rahi ho uski ,khabardar jo tum naye iis waqaye ka zikar bhi Yawar Ali saye kia tu kal ki shadi karte baba sahib aaj hi tumhara nikah parhadain gaye samjhi tum.Roshane shocked . Alamtab says, ghazab khuda ka iis larki naye tu jena haram kardia hai. And she leaves the room.

In Jhoomar 's room, she combing her hair and sees her self in mirror and talks to her self, khubsorati khush kismat honaye ki nishani nahi hoti kitni hi khubsorat auratain badsorat zindgi kuzar rahi hoongi aur kitni hi badsoorat auratain khubsorat zindagi ghuzaar rahi hoon gain.kisi naye sach kaha kaye jo piya maan bhaye wohi suhagan lakin yahian tu piya nahi pagal hai.

Zafri sees her and want to come to near her but she says,door hojaoo meri nazroon saye yeh sab tumhari wajah saye hi tu hai. Zafri was come to near continuously. She shouts and says, tum aagar qareeb aaye tu main tumhain maar doon gi and picked the vase and throw on him. He also picked a vase. Jhoomar 's vase touched the forehead of Zafri and blood comes out just then sarsvati enter in the room and see the flow of blood she run back and inform Alamtab. Alamtab has call doctor. Alamtab enter in the room and run toward Zafri. he crrying nad continuously says ,iis naye maara mama iis naye maara.Alamtab look toward her angarlly and says why you beat her .Jhoomar says,main nye wohi kia jo mere dil naye kaha aap kia karain gi jaan saye maar dain gi ,tu maar dain wasye bhi koon sa zinda hoon.bete ka chota sa zakham nazar aatya hai likin mera por por zakhmi wajood nazar nahi aata huad hoogai. And she leaves the room.

In baba sahib 's room he sit on the chair and thinking about Roshane. He calls Guloo and says to her that calls Bari. Bari enter in the room.baba say to him,bari hum chahate hain kaye tum naeem uddin ko pegam behjdo kye hum unsye milna chaitye hain,ab Roshi ki shadi main deer nahi hooni chaiye na jane ye larki aagye kia kare bas buhat hoo gayia. Bari is shocked but not say anything. baba sahib says, go and call Alamtab and Raisa begum ,aab iis kam main dair nahi honi chaye.Bari says,ji baba sahib.and he leave the room.

Baba sahib tell a servant to dail phone to yawar ali kan. Alamtab enter in baba sahib 's room and sees at baba sahib who has walks here and there. she say salaam to him. Almatab sees at him and says,ji baba sahib aap befikar rahain main usko samjha doon gi.

Yawar Ali khan 's phone rings .he picked up phone ,other side Roshane .she askede about Maheen .yawar says, tumhari khala aapnye ghar gain,koun koi kaam tha?she says,no papa lakin wo mujhye bhuat aachi lagti hain ,wasiye papa ek baat batayie kia meri maa bhi khala ki tahrah thian koun kaye wo bhi tu unki behan hain na.yawar 's face color change and he says, yes ,waisye khala ki yaad bhuat aarahi hai .she says ,papa main unsye dobara millna chati hoon.yawar says,ok agar mujhaye fursat hooi tu main tumain bari kaye zarye bulawa loonga .she says,papa main bari kaye sath nahi aaongi wasye kia wo hamari nukar hai jo ittni ji hozori karta hai?yawar says ,nahi beta wo humara nukar nahi hai,lakin baba sahib usye hamisha saye zimdarian detaye aaye hain aur wo in zimadarioon ko nebhata aaia hai? she says,iis ka matlab wo havili kaye dosraye larkoon ki tarah hai? Yawar says, why you investigation about him.Roshane says,nothing papa bas wo ruab jamata hai na iisliye pocha hai. Yawar says, he is a nice, responsible and intelligent boy, aur hain tum sab ko parishan karna choor do samjhi and baba sahib tumhare liye aacha soch rahe hain jab wo tum saye iis rishteye kaye barye main pochain tu mujahye koi shikayat nahi chaiye . Alamtab and Raisa begum was discussing about Jhoomar 's behavior. Alamtab says,yeh larki iis ki itni himat dehoo hum neye usye izat de,doulat de aur uskye mizaj hi nahi milrahye hain,mujhse tu Zafri ki halar dehki nahi jari hai,mera bacha kitna darr gaya hai.Raisa Begum says,bade bhabhi aap fikar mat karain sab thek hojaye ga.Alamtab says,kia karoon raisa ek taraf Zafri ki parishani dosri taraf Roshane ne tang kar rakaha hai ab baba sahib iss ka rishta the karna chah rahe hain.raisa says,bhabhi begum sab kuch inshallah teehk ho jaye ga.

Roshane in her room and she was thinking about Yawar Ali khan 's talks. She goes to Bari 's room and says, Bari ek baat bataoo,baaba sahib ne mere bare main kia faisala kia hai tum hospital main kuch bool rahe thy.Bari says,Main nahi janta aap baba sahib hi sye kuon nahi poch leti hain.wasye jo faisala unhone kia hai iis ka faida buhat hai,aap bhi buhat se parishanoon se bach jain gi aur sab logon ki fikrain khatam hojain gye.Roshane says.iis ka matlab kaye papa teek kahrahye tay.bari says,khan kia kehrahye thy?Roshane says,baba sahib mera rishta teah kar rahe hain aur main unki baat maan loon.bari says,who durast keh rahe hain.Roshane looks at him angarly and says,bari yeh sab tuhari wajah se hi tu hain aur tum kia samjhte hoo kaye mujhye ek baar bachali tu kia main dubara nahi karsakti hoon,main tuhari tarah buzdil nahi hoon aur nahi Ghulami ki zanjeroon main jakri hoon,agar baba sahib zidi hain tu main bhi un ka hi khoon hoon tu dekhana main aab kia karti hoon tum soch bhi nahi sakte aur nahi tuhare aaqa.and she rush from there .Bari confuse and run after behind her he see that she run away from upper story he speedy rushes toward her and on the last stair he has caught her. and angrily and tightly hold her hand and says, yea aap kia karne jari hain ,kia pagal hogai hain.Roshane says,bari please let me go,chodo mera haath aur aapni madangi aapne tak rakoho ,tum jesa buzdil main ne nahi dekha hai likin main buzdil nahi hoon. Bari trighten his grip on her hand more and trun her in the front of him ans says, main buzdil nahi hoon aur aghar maut hi tamam parishnioon ka hal huta tu adhi duniya khudkashi kar chuki hoti,janiti hain aap kia karne jarahi hain ,aap ko logon kye imtehan lene ka bada shook hai.bari main bas itna janti hoon kye baba sahib jo chahte hain wo nahi hosakta.she try to release her hand but bari don't release her hand and says,aap aisa kyon nahi chati hian?bari tum nahi samjhoge kyonuki tumhara jim hi nahi rooh bhi ghulami ki zanjroon main jakra hai.Roshi bibi aap hosh karain dekahin main kuch karta hoon wasaiy agar aap yawar khana se baat karain tu shad yeh shadi ruk jaye. Roshane look at him.bari says, wo tu shukar hai kaye kio iis taraf se guzra nahi warna tamasha ban jana tha mera.Roshane says,tum kitne buzdil ho bari.baat buzdili ki nahi samjhadari ki hai jo aap kaye pass nahi hai, bas ab aap nechye chalain. he continuously grip her hand and pull her down stairs.

In Lal pur Havili, Yawar Ali khan was sitting on the chair and seeing his phone. Some time before, Roshane has called him. He thinking about Maheen and remembering Nazneen. (Flash back) Nazneen packing suitcase and she looks sad. Just then Yawar Ali khan has enters in the room and looks at her and smiles.she says, Jawad aap kye bekhair kesye rahye ga. Yawar Ali khan says, yeh kuyn nahi kehtin kye aap udas hain arye bachye ko kia pata hum kahan jarahaye hain. Nazneen says ,nahi aisi baat nahi hai main tu bas jawad ki wajah sye parishan hoon aap kye bakhair ek minute nahi rehta hai. Yawar come to near her and says, acha aisi baat hai tu phir aisa kartye hain kye jawad ko aapne sath laye jatain hain . Nazneen says,phir tui wo aap ko tang kare ga . yawar says ,iska matlub yeh hai kye aap humain jane nahi dena chatihian tu saaf kahain kye mat jaiye bachye ka sahara kyon lerahi hain,wase itne piar se kahne tu dunia chordain nukari kia cheez hai.Nazneen says,humne aisa kab kaha. Yawar says,agar nahi jaingye tu government nukri saye nikal degi na aur aap kayr liaye aisi hazar nukarian qurban. Nazneen says,aap sye koi nahi jeet sakta hai. Yawar says,Likin ek baat yaad rakhaiga agar kabhai hum kisi saye haare tu wo aap hoongi and he look at her with love and she smile.just then jawad cry .suddenly Yawar Ali khan come into realty because of a servant come and says, sir your call from CM house. Yawar says, ok say I 'm coming.

Baba sahib calls Bari. Bari enters in Baba sahib 's room and say salaam to him. Baba sahib says, Bari tomorrow you will go Karachi and meet to Kaleemuddin and invite them to come here. Bari says, ok Baba sahib I will. Baba sahib says, tell them that we want to meet all family and if they come here our family will also meet them and tell them to inform us by phone, one more thing Bari you will go to Yawar Ali Khan and say him to enquiry about the Kaleemuddin family. Bari says, ok baba sahib. Baba sahib says him to go. Bari leave from the room and baba sahib go in deep thinking.

Maheen and her father talking together. Maheen says, papa your now BP is normal why you take tension. Father says,mujhaye ab serf tumhari fikar hai ,wasi tu main janta hoon kye tu mari beti nahi beta ho likin phir bhi main chahta hoon kye marne se phehle main tumhari Khushi dehkh loon.Maheen says,papa aisa tu na khahain aap ka saya humarye sar par hamisha rahe ,agar aap aisi baat karain gye tu main naraz ho jaoongi ab dawa la lain.father says,tu Nazneen kye bachoon sye milithin kaisye hain wo agar ek baar millata tu sumjho Nazneen sye milita.Maheen says,ji mili thi buhat pare hain dono main Yawar bhai sye kahoon gi kaye wo aap se milane la aain , aap Yawar bhai sye bhi milijyega wo buhat well mannar personality kaye malik hain.father says,theek hai.Maheen sye ab aap aram kijye.father says,ab aram tu ek hi baar karain gye.Maheen says,papa aap phir ,aap ko mera khaiyal nahi aata na.father says,ok sorry beta. He lay on the bed and Maheen light off and leave from room.after her leave father says to himself,najane kyon mujhye lagta hai kye mare pass ab ziada waqt nahi hai likin tuhara hi khayial tu jane nahi deraha hai.

Roshane is sitting on her bed and thinking about Bari 's talks. She says to herself, ab kia karoon main papa se baat karoon gi ab jab wo havili aaingye , ab sirf papa hi mari madad karsakte hain.

In the Jhoomar 's room ,zafri laying on the bed just then Jhoomar enter in the room.Zafri look at her and shouting ,yeh muhjye mare gi mujhye bachoo ,ama mujhye bachoo yeh mujhye mare gi and he continuously shouting.Jhoomar look at him and says, chilaooo mat atni himat hoti tu aab tak khud ko na marliti likin kash usdin tum na bachte tu mari tu mushkil hi asan ho jati.just then Alamtab enter in the room and listen her last words. Zafri look at his mother and start shouting yea mujhaye mare gi.Alamtab nahi beta main hoon na chup hojaoo but he shouting continuously and fingar out at Jhoomar.Alamtab says to her, ab dafa hojaoo yeahan se aur jo bakwas tum abhi karrahi thi main uskye bare main tum se baad main baat karti hoon ,lagata hai kye tum ko izzat ras nahi aai.Zafri not keep silent she call doctor and weeping and says,kia kardeia iis larki naye mare bachye ka.doctor come and see him and says, behtar ho ga kye aap inko hospital behj dain yea kisi aise sanitorium jahan yeh iis mahool se dour rahin.

Maheen in her room and think about Yawar Ali khan .she says to her, Yawar Bhai have mysterious personality and very confident and deep thinking man. How bajoo was managing with him. She also says,his eyes says that he have a deep strom sorrow in his heart but he look like very silent amazing ,kash bajoo zinda hotin tu main unse yawar bhai kye bare main maloom karti ,wasye Havili wale bhi kam myaterious nahi hain khas karke Bari aur wo aurat ,ab agar main bade Havili gai tu us aurat kye bari main zaroor pata lagoongi.

Next morning Bari comes down from his room and gives his shirt to sarsvati for ironing. Sarsvati take shirt and put it on the iron stand. Bari goes back. Sarsvati go to finish her work. After finishing work she come to iron stand and start ironing just then Roshane come and says to her, what are you doing go and make tea because its baba sahib 's medicine time. Sarsvati says, I 'm ironing the Bari khan 's shirt because he going to Karachi. Roshi says, ok give it to me will do it but go and make tea fast because baba sahib want break fast. Roshi iron the shirt. After ironing she pick up the shirt and want to go Bari 's room but just then Bari come down and without seeing shout sarsvati where is my shirt. Roshane says. Here it is. Bari is without shirt .he stop on the first stair and shocked to see her. Roshane look at him and fall down her eyes. Roshane goes to him and give him shirt. Bari says with angry, where is sarsvati I was give the to her for ironing and what are you doing here? Roshane says, Baba sahib want break fast then I tell her go. Bari wearing his shirt speedily.bari says, aap ko yehan nahi aana chayi tha. Roshane look at him and says,main tum sye kuch baat karna chahti thi.tum Karachi jarahe ho. Just then Shino Apa come there and see that Bari wearing his shirt and Roshane is standing very close to him. Bari and Roshane seen her too and shocked. Bari closes his buttons quickly and looks at Roshane with angriness. Shino says, Bari tum kahin ja rahe hoo. Roshane answerd before Bari and says, ji han shino apa, Bari Karachi jaraha hai aap ko koi pegham pohchan ho tu batain. Shino says, Roshane mara khiyal hai kye tum bhi yehan koi pegham dene hi aai ho aur mujhye koi pegham nahi dena hai, lagta hai maine disturb kia tum aram se pegham do waise iis tarah raste main pegham dena teek nahi hai. And she leaves from there with wicked smile. After her leave Roshane look at Bari and says, shino apa bhi na Bari tum papa sye kehna kaye main unse milana chati hoon. Bari says, ji Roshane Bibi and goes back to his room.

Yawar Ali khan on the breakfast table he receive a call from baba sahib. Baba sahib says, Yawar main ne Roshane ki shadi ka faisala kia hai aur tum se poch na zaroori samjhata hoon, Kaleemuddin apne bete Naeemuddin ke lie Roshane ka rishta maang rahe hain iis silsile main tumhara kia khiayal hai. Yawar Ali Khan says, baba Sahib jesa aap munasib samjhain. Baba sahib says, theek hai maine unlogoon ko bulwayia hai agar tum ajate tu behtar hota. Yawar Ali Khan says,baba sahib mera ana buhat mushkil hai kyon ke mujhye Indian council genral ek important meeting ke liaye jana hai, pata nahi ketne din lagjain wasie Roshi khsh tu hai na. Baba sahib says,abhi iisye shaed malum nahi hai wase khush na hone ki koi wajha humain nazar tu nahi aati hai,larka khubsorat hai acha khandan hai jane pehchane loog hain bas taleem Roshi se kuch kam hai aur mujhye nahi lagta kaye inkar ki koi wajhah honi chahye. Yawar Ali Khan says,ji baba sahib ,theek hai aap un logoon ko bolalain baqi aap logg tu hain na.

Baba sahib call Alamtab and says, tomorrow Aleemuddin and his family come Havili we have little time and you tell Roshane that she don't create any problem. Alamtab says, ji baba sahib we getting everything ready don't worry, baba sahib do you inform Yawar Ali Khan? Baba sahib says, yes I firstly inform him and he give all authority to us, Allah may better everything, you only getting prepare Roshane. Alamtab says, ji baba sahib. Baba sahib says, one more thing Bari says, may Naeemuddin also come. Alamtab leave the room.

Jhoomar in her room and feel alone .she come out of the room and looking here and there. She seen that sarsvati take a try with food. Jhoomar stop and says to her, where are you going? Sarsvati says, nothing anywhere I 'm taking this food for Bachal who is in backyard.Jhoomar thing that something is wrong.she says,I will might know this what happen.

Alamtab gone to Roshane 's room and says to her, Roshi in tomorrow evening Aleemuddin and his family come to Havili baba sahib say that you take care of this and don't create any problem do you understand? Roshane shocked and not say anything. Alamtab says, you prepare your self that they has come for your marriage. Aleemuddin 's son Naeemuddin is a good person and I don't want any disturbance ok. Roshane says, but Bibi Jan I don't want to marry for everyone, please says to baba sahib don't do this. Alamtab says, are you in senses, Roshane if you create any problem then baba sahib fixed your engagement right know and may be he get your Nikkah right know therefore its better that you still do what I say and tum ne wasie bhi mari parwarish ko daagdar karchuki hoon behtar hooga j ho raha hai hoone do.and she leave from the room.

In the hall all girls sitting and talking about Roshane and Naeemuddin 's family.mona says,ab maza aaye ga kitne din baad aisa moqa aaiia hai khoob dhoom dhaam karain gye.saman says ,yes ,bouhat maza aaiye ga.shino says,arrye koi Roshi say bhi boch lo kahin usska phir sye khudkasi ka irrada tu nahi hai warna tu sab ki tayiari dhari rehjaye gi.shanila says,shino tu soch samjh kar boola karoo arrye aisye Khushi kaye moqye par aisii baad nahi karni chahye.Shino says,arrye tu ko bura kyou lagraha hai?main tu sirf Roshi ki behtari kaye liaye kehrahi hoon,hosakta hai usye yeh rishta pasand nahi hoo phir aur who kahin aur shadi karna chahti hoo.mana says,kahi aur shadi matlab?just then Roshane enter the haal and says,shino apa aap sab ko aapni tarah maat samjha karain.shino says,mind your languge Roshi aur mare moo tu tum lagna maat.shanila says,what happening with both of you,why you are talking like that Roshane says,khuch logoon ko izat pasand nahi hoti.and then she leave from there.mona says,shino aap why you behaving with her like that. shino says,baaz logoon ko sach karwa lagta hai.

Roshane come in to her room and says to herself,ab kia karoon bibi jan mari baat nahi sunrahi hain mujhaye bari saye baat karni chaye. She calls Bari. Bari picks the phone and says; salaam ji Roshi bibi kia baat hai.Roshi says,tum naye kaha tha kaye agar koi masla hoga tu tum sambhal logye Naeemuddin aur uski family havili ane wale hai kal shaam ko aur tum ne ab tak khuch nahi kia balkye main ne tu suna hai tumna hi unlogoon ko dawat di hai.bari says,dekhye Roshi bibi baba sahib ne mujhye ek kaam kaha aur main ne kar deia aur wasiye bhi mujhye Naeemuddin main aisi koi burai nazar nahi aati hai kaye jis ki wajhah sye aap iis rishtaye sye inkar karinbas taleem kuch kam hai wasye bhi jahan jagir ka mamla ho tu bhir taleem ahmiat nahi rakhti hai.rosh sye tum naye wada kia tha kaye mari madad karoo gye.bari talk strickly and says,Roshi bibi please uswaqt mujhye aap ki jaan bachani thi bas .Roshi says,ok agar tum aapne aap ko itna samjhdar samjhtaye ho tu bataoo aab kaisye bachaoo gye.bari says,pealse Roshi bibi khud tu musibat mool lati hain aur dosroon ko bhi parishan karti hain wasye bhi agar aap pehlye bhi asi hi harkat kar kye khud ko iis musibat main daal chuki hain.aap yawar khana sye bat kar kaye dekhain aur aab mujhye parishan maat kijiyega Roshane no answerd .bari says,do you listent me.Roshi cut the phone. Bari worried about her.

Roshi think about Bari 's call and says her self,tum buzdil ho bari koun in ghulamoon ki zanjron main bandhye rehna chatye hoo.she weeping and thing what she do now. She call Yawar Ali khan and she also weeping .she said to him all talks of Alamtab.yawar Ali khan says,iis main problem kia hai.larka aacha hai.she said nothing papa but please aap baba sahib sye kahin na kaye woiis baat ko khtam karadain.please papa.yawar Ali Khan says,Roshi mangni ki koi ahmiat nahi hoti aur konsa hum abhi tuhari mangni kar rahye hain, aane do un ko zaroori tu nahi kaye woo loog humain pasand bhi aain, tum fikar maat karoo aur dekhoo baba sahib ki achi bati ban kar jo horaha hai hoone do. Yawar Ali khan cut the phone. Roshane get relax and says, ab tu papa mare sath hai ab sab theek hojaye ga.

Maheen and his brother Noman talking about their father's health condition. Noman says, doctor kehtaye hain kye agar unhonye sochna nahi chodra tu yeh unki sehat kye liaye acha nahi hai. Maheen says, main tu papa say kehti hoon ke itna maat socha karain likin wo suntye hi nahi hain. Noman says, tumahin pata hai Maheen papa ki asal parishani kia hai. Maheen says, ji Noman bhi wo mari wajhasye parishan rehtaye hain. Noman says, phir tum koi unki baat maan kyon nahi lati ho. Maheen says, Noman bhai please main unki bati nahi beta bana chahti hoon. aap loog tu yehan hootye nahi hain aur agar mari bhi shadi hojaye gi tu main bhi chali jaoon gi tu unka khayal koon rakahye ga.Noman says,yeah bhi hai maine ketni baar papa sye kaha ke mare sath chalain tkehtaye hain ke main apni zindagi kye akhri din aapni sarzameen par guzarna chahta hoon.ab main itni jaldi business wind up karke kase a sakta hoon.likin tu shadi kye baad bhi tu papa ka khayal rakhsakti hoo.Maheen says,nahi noman bhai mujhye daar lagta hai jeseke naz bajoo ke sath ke un ki shadi ke baad unki shakal dekhna bhool gaye thye bas marne ki khabar mili.Noman look at her and sad.

Baba sahib come out the pejaroo and see Jhoomar to talk gardener 's son.she is laughing loudly and gardener 's son smiling. Baba sahib calls gardener 's son and says,what are you doning here ,where is your father.he says,he is ill and rest in home .baba sahib says,ok you can go then baba sahib call jhooma and she shocked to see baba sahib.
