Katrina Kaif is beautiful & hardworking: Yashji

The late Yash Chopra's thoughts on his final heroine Katrina Kaif have been revealed.

Speaking in London, Chopra said that the Jab Tak Hai Jaan star is an inspiration for many.



"Katrina Kaif came from London. She did not know the language but she was a beautiful girl and a sensible and hardworking girl. In time to come she learnt Hindi, she focused and said, 'I can do this thing'," explained Chopra.

"A lot of foreign girls come hoping that the Katrina Kaif story will happen to them. They are beautiful and they are good dancers, and as Indian films are released all over the world, someone who works in our cinema can be seen all the world and they get exposure. For those girls or boys who come, it is a win-win situation."

Chopra passed away on October 21, shortly after announcing his retirement from the film industry.

A song featuring Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan that was scheduled to be shot by the director in Switzerland will now feature as part of the movie's credits.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan is released on November 13.
