What is lauki ka halwa? I know what halwa is? What's the english equivalent of "lauki"? Does any one have a recipe? Does this halwa have magic love powers?

Lauki is bottle gourd and below is the recipe of lauki ka halwa ..It is very nice if made properly ..

Ingredients


1 No. Lauki 1/2 kg Milk 1 cup Sugar 1/2 kg Khoya 4 tbsp Ghee Silver foil for decoration dry fruits

Directions

    Peel Lauki and grate it. Heat ghee in a pan and add grated lauki to it. Cook for 2-3 min and add milk to it. Let it cook till the lauki becomes tender. Keep stirring. Add khoya and continue cooking for a while. When the mixture is lumpy, add sugar and cook till it dissolves completely.
  1. Before serving, garnish with dry fruits and silver foil.
The silver foil decoration is optional ..

yes , I think lauki is called this name as well..as for khoya , how do I explain ...it is made of milk like a milk cake sort if thing ... and anything made with love and dedication is delicious and very special...šŸ˜†

Yes Bottle Gourd is Dhodhi... I think Khoya is thick sweetened condensed milk..

Never heard of Halwa with Dhodhi before..I have honestly learnt lot of stuff from PR.

I have had it many times .These days it is available in many mithai shops along with gajar ka halwa .
it really is very nice . You must try it ..

Gajar ka halwa is my favourite mithai. but i'm going to try this Dodhi ka halwa or "Lauki ka halwa". Maybe it will bring a MANLY Arjun, hahaha🤣🤣
