As they entered their room with khushi engulfed in arnav's arm, Arnav made her lie on the bed.

Without saying anything he took an exit from the room leaving a confused khushi. But soon she realized that he was furious at this moment and she shouldn't go after or talk to him at this very moment. So she just lied on the bed until arnav came.

Arnav went downstairs and called HP.

Arnav: HP! HP!

Hp came to the hallway running.

HP: g arnav bhaiya?

Arnav ordered: Hp, get me a bowl of chopped fruit. NOW !

Nani was going to the kitchen when he noticed arnav and HP's conversation. She realized that it is all because of what happened today and because of their carelessness towards khushi.

Nani: chhote! Are you okay dear?

Arnav: do I look okay nani?

Nani: chhote I know what happened today was wro'

Arnav interrupted with a cold but low voice: TODAY? You think this has happened today? Nani khushi has been tolerating this torture for the past 2 weeks and you're saying it happened TODAY? Nani, I know there was my fault too, but you mamiji, di, payal, nk stays in at home for the entire day! Then how come you didn't notice or even DOUBTED IT!? And you know khushi would never share her pain with other but'

Nani: I know chhote! We'..we ' I don't know...i doubted when khushi bitiya used to wear those full-sleeves salwar kameez in such hot days but comvinced myself that it was just because of her fever'but

Arnav looked upstairs to their room with a straight and stern look: I know! But-

HP came back from the kitchen with a bowl of chopped fruit.

HP: arnav bhaiya! Here is your fruits.

Not extending the conversation, Arnav took the bowl and went upstairs to his room.

Arnav entered the room with an infuriated expression making khushi gulp. He closed the door and sat beside khushi.

He took a spoonful of fruit and held it near khushi's mouth, not saying a single word.

Khushi didn't want to eat anything so she turned her head not wanting to eat only to look at arnav again as he turned her face with his palm making her look at him. She didn't have the courage to refuse after witnessing arnav's furious expression.

Khushi thought, "hey devi maiya! Arnav ji looks super angry! Should I talk to him to him? Nahi nahi khushi! Your pranks will nothing but make him outraged! Lekin agar yeh hum se baat nahi kerenge to mujhe karna padega na?! devi maiya Raksha karna'.."

Arnav keep feeding her the fruits and khushi was thinking of something to start her conversation.

Khushi smiled: AH! Arnav! You know, my friend preeto? She called me yes- *she stopped as arnav put the spoon full of fruit in her mouth*

Khushi continued: -terday (yesterday) . She said they are going to Shimla for honemoon! Hayeee!!! Kitna maza ayega na waha paar! I heard it *and again, he dumped the chopped fruit in her mouth* snows there?! Oh! They're going to have a great time. Oh and I heard they will go to''

Arnav was done feeding her, therefore, he stood up and put the bowl on the side desk making khushi stop with her stories. Without uttering a SINGLE word and yet with the same stern look, he held khushi and made her lie on the bed and covered her with the quilt. And turned the dim light on as he knew that his wife can't stay a second in the dark. He left the room to make some important calls regarding to tomorrow's meeting leaving a sad and disappointed khushi.

The entire day passed the same day. Khushi tried to talk to him or told a long story or pranks but Arnav didn't say a word to khushi , and yet, his concerns and care was the same and even increased.

The next day aman called arnav.

Aman: Sir, 'uh'sir..

Arnav: yes aman?

Aman: wo, sir *aman was too nervous to talk t ASR although it's been 6 years since he joined AR*

ARnav: WHAT IS IT AMAN?

Aman fixing his specs: woh sir, you have a meeting today.

Arnav: WHAT?!

Aman: I tried to cancel this meeting but the client said they will go back to U.S. tomorrow in the morning. so I had to'

Arnav: you're UNBELIVABLE AMAN! I told you NOT to keep any meetings atleast for a week and '..forget it ! okay! I'll be there!

Arnav had already asked aman to cancel all his meetings for this week and he was to work from home.

He soon got ready and left for the meeting without even talking to her.

Arnav was home within 3 hours as he didn't want to leave khushi, yet he didn't express it. As he was on his way to to his room execting his wife to be there, he saw khushi entering the kitchen instead.

He got more furious and yelled: KHUSHI!

Khushi jumped out of fear and arnav took long steps to reach her. Arnav giving her a dangerous look. He held her by hand making khushi hiss out of pain. Arnav looked back at her and cursed himself for giving her pain once again. He took her in his arms making khushi gasp n shock.

Khushi: arnav! What are you doing! Everybody will see'you-

But arnav shut his wife's mouth by giving her a "not-a-single-word" expression. Khushi gulped and kept calm. After entering their room, Arnav made khushi stand and got the anticeptic cream. He well knew that khushi would never take care of herself, so OBVIOUSLY she hasn't applied the anticeptic cream. She turned her around and opened the zip and started applying the cream. She closed her eyes and arnav continued with applying. As he was done he made her lie on the bed and turned the lights off. He went under the covers and turned around facing the back to khushi.

After 2 hours or so arnav heard a weird noise. He was still awake at the thought of khushi's health. It was a sound of sob. He quickly turned on the side lamp and looked at khushi who was facing her back towards him. As he turned on the lamp, she stopped sobbing as she din't want him to see it.

Arnav shocked: khushi?

Khushi pretended to be asleep.

Arnav knew she was just pretending.

Arnav: khushi, I know you're awake.

But no response..

Arnav: Khushi? You ''are you crying?

He was getting more and more worried. He turned her around only to see her face which had gotten pink by then, her swallown eyes , he pink lips which was trembling .

Khushi sat still crying and sobbing.

Arnav engulfed her in his arms as soon as he saw her in this state

Arnav: khushi? Khushi, what happened? Are you okay? Is there any problem? Are you having pain in your back again? Do you have a headache? what happened, talk to me DAMMIT!

Khushi looked at arnav with her swelled eyes: arnav'..y..

Arnav: khushi what?

Khushi still in his chest: Arnav why aren't you talking to me? Do you know how I survided yesterday and today? How can you '.how can you not talk to me''.what happebed to you all of a sudden. I hate you! I hate you for not talking to me'..you,'..you don't love me now'

Arnav: shhh! Shhh''khushi! Calm down! Not a single word now.

He pulled her back and wiped her tears off.

Arnav: I'm sorry khushi. I didn't want to hurt you. BUt how could you hide everything from me khushi? How could you? You never thought how would I feel when I find out the truth!? You KNOW I can't bear a single tear in your eyes and you hid ALL THIS FOR THE ENIRE 2 weeks? You didn't even think how would I FEEL when I would see you in that state? You dodn't trust me khushi? You hurt me a lot by hiding all this for so long

He went to the poolside and stared at the stars with his hands in his pockets .

Khushi felt guilty for not telling him and got out of the bed. she ran and hugged her husband from behind .

Khusi crying: I'm sorry arnavji'.i didn't wanted to hurt you'INEVER WOULD! '..i''

Arnav held her hands under his arms and turned around to give her a front hug.

Khushi continued: arnav, I didn't tell you because'''because I didn't want to see you in pain. I didn't want you to get worried because of me. I want to see you happy. And '..and what happened yesterday was the reason my my fears'..i'..i didn't want the '..the family rto brak arnav. I knew that if you find out about all this once, you would done something like this to dadi. And''

ARnav: shhh! I know khushi! I know.

Khushi: no arnav'.you said I don't trust you'' I trust more than anyone else in the world, in my life'.even more than myself. I love you arnav.i just hid everything so that you don't have pain for me.

Arnav: I know sweetheart! You don't need to explain. Now promise me that you won't hide ANY DAMN thing from me NO MATTER HOW MINOR IT IS!

Khushi: promise

Arnav: and don't you even dare say that again! I have ALL THE RIGHTS TO KNOW EVERY SINGLE TO related to you! I;m your husband khushi! You need to'

Khushi: I know '*sher pulled back and held her ears * sorry? I won't do say that every again

Arnav couldn't but praise her innocence and adorable face

Arnav smirked and place a peck on her forehead. He carried her to the bed and made her sleep by stroking her hair. As he saw her asleep, he slowly went under the covers went to a deep sleep.
