did naitik ever say that he liked antara ? no, he never did, simply coz he never had a thing for her. yes, he liked her... as a friend, but that's it, there was nothing more to it from his end. infact, he said it time n again that akshara was his first love.
it's antara who presented a twisted past in front of akshara and sid, akshara never believed her though.
antara liked naitik n proposed marriage, but naitik refused. neither he had feelings for her nor his family would have accepted her, plus antara could have never adjusted in his family. so there was no reason for him to think of her beyond friendship.
antara, probably could not accept the fact that the man who refused her once, is blissfully married today. also, the affluence of singhania's had it's fair share of influence on her. she started plotting n scheming , tried creating misunderstanding between nsksh, only to get backfired.
however, i will never endorse the way naitik treatment akshara on antara's instigation. actually, the whole track is unlike naitik, and is in contrast with his early character sketch. neither he is supposed to be a person to be friends with a girl nor he likes people who can be too sugary sweet n fake to impress people. remember, why he dislikes rituraj ? antara fits the bill of a two faced person, but he is blindfolded in friendship to notice it, very unlike naitik.
who is to be blamed...naitik? no, it's the cvs. they conveniently forgot the past for the present.
