Friends, it was on this forum only that i had read spoliers by mishti saying that barun had put in his papers and given two months notice. This was sometime in sept end i think. She had also said that he had an offer for a film but it wasn''t that good so he had not signed yet. Further she said, there is a possibility that barun MAY stay on after the notice period but it wasnt sure.
Note the word MAY.
Now that makes it clear that barun gave notice so that he could leave if he wanted. Plus he was open to stay longer if things dint work out his way with the film or whatever.
So clearly barun was playing safe. But the PH had to face the possibilty that barun may indeed leave after 2 months. May be that is why they decided to phase out asr's chracter, since they knew that no actor cud replace barun as ASR.And that there was a high prob of barun leaving. The only other alternative wud have been kill asr's character as and when he left the show.
Obviously phasing out means the imp of the chracter in the story line diminishes slowly.this is the only thing any PH can do in the circumstances. In fact probably this is why they hurried shyam's disclosure.
Now obviously barun cud not accept his character being sidelined .
I am not justifying anthing, but one must think from this angle too. WE do know that ph has been neglecting the show, but stiill we have had brilliant episodes too. It was the sheetal track however which has been totally disastrous.
So please guys, remeber one thing. It is not as if barun is quitting/taking a break just becaz he dint like the track. He had given notice and he would have left.
So dont just blame the PH for everything. Do blame them when it is justified but not always.
This is jus the other side of the coin.
Pl dont bash but think logically.
