It was a Saturday morning, and after a long week, he was thankful to God above for letting him sleep in. He was wearing his red flannel PJ's that Khushi loved alot, but alas someone had to bother him.
"It must be those people trying to sell things" Arnav thought to himself opening the door.
"Surprise" he heard a very familiar voice say.
As soon as Arnav saw who was at the door his eyes opened wide, all traces of sleep gone away, and just a big smile on his face.
"You here?" he asked.
"Won't you ask me to come in" came the answer from the very familiar person.
"You will never change right?"
"Well, then that just wouldn't be me, Would it?" came the smart reply
"Nope, come on in"
They both just went to freshen up.
"Khushi, I am so surprised to see you here"
"I just got a vacation, the fall collection was such a success"
"That's great"
"Yea, you look exhausted though buddy"
"Work..Work & more Work"
Khushi laughed at her friend.
"We should go out to get some breakfast" Khushi asking for his opinion rather than telling him.
"Sounds good"

"Hi Arjun"
"Hey Anj"
Arjun and Anjali had went out last night, their attraction towards each other wasn't unknown to them. Since it had been late, Anjali let him stay over at her house.
"Was the couch comfortable" Anjali asked trying to vanish the awkwardness, though nothing had happened between them, things right now were a little uncomfortable for them.
"The couch was, sleeping in these not very much" Arjun said pointing to his jeans and flashing a smile.
"That's okay" Anjali smiled.

Arnav and Khushi went to a cafe, not too close to their house.
"Black Coffee, Milk, No Sugar" Arnav ordered.
"What would you like" he asked Khushi.
They picked up their orders and went to eat.
"How long are you here for?"
"A couple weeks for now."
"For Now?" Arnav inquired.
"Yea, my boss said that I could be shifted here in the new branch"
"That would be great" Arnav said truly happy for his friend, somewhere inside knowing he was happy, for her being close to him.
"Yea, I really hope I get promoted too" Khushi kept on telling herself she wanted this promotion for the job nothing else, but in her mind she knew she wanted it for being close to him, Arnav, her Arnav.
She mentally slapped herself for these wayward thoughts.

Anjali had gotten a call from work, calling her in immediately, unexpectedly, she tried denying buy she had to go.
"Hey Arjun, I'm so sorry I had to go" Anjali called Arjun, driving back home.
"It's Okay" Arjun murmured.
"Were you home all day" she asked
"Not quite" he laughed.
"I'm almost home, I'll see you then"
Arjun was still at Anjali's house and couldn't wait for her to get back.
Anjali unlocked the door and walked in and she was surprised, everything looked beautiful.
"Hi" Arjun said totally mesmerizing her, his voices did magic on her.
"You didn't have to" she said
"But I wanted to" he replied smiling, the smile that made her want to smile.
Arjun had prepared dinner, set up the table, done everything perfectly.
"Arjun.." she was speechless.
"Anjali" he started "I know we're great friends but we both know we feel more than that"
Anjali just stared at his perfect face,
"I love you" he smiled
Anjali was taken aback and smiled at him and gave him a tight hug.
"Arjun.." she was still speechless "I love you too"
She had definitely not expected this.

"Arnav, you're barely ever home, and when you are. you are way too tired to do something" Khushi complained.
"Khushi, I'm sorry"
Arnav felt as if his promotion was just a work overload and nothing else, his salary hasn't increased as much as his work did, and he was searching for a new job.
"Well, I'll forgive you, if we go get some ice cream right now" Khushi said with the cutest puppy dog face. She was such a child and that's why Arnav loved her.
Arnav just stared at her face, void of any blemishes, it was next to perfect.
"Arnav" Khushi pulled him out of his reverie.
"Huh?" Arnav was lost, he couldn't believe what he was thinking.
"The work is really stressing you out, let's go get some ice cream.
"Okay" Arnav's face still looking lost.

Khushi had the ice cream on the side of her lips, Arnav couldn't stop himself from cleaning it.
He moved forward and wiped it with his finger, while staring at her the whole time. Khushi was staring at him too, forgetting their surroundings the both of them were lost into each other.
Gaining some senses Arnav moved back, things getting somewhat awkward between them.

They were driving back home, the ride very quiet, them both stealing glances at each other.
"Khushi" Arnav started "At the..."
"Hmm" Khushi said understanding not wanting to blurt something wrong out.
"I just cleaned your face as a friend, I didn't want you looking stupid."
"Yea, I know" Khushi said acting relieved, yet a bit sad on the inside.
"Okay, good it's cleared now" Arnav said indifferently
"Thank god, it's clear" Khushi smiled.
"What happened to me?" they both questioned themselves mentally.
