so how many of you think suvreen made a wise choice switching over to fashion?we all know she took this decision during her most trying times(breakup with yuvraaj) and had no idea about fashion prior to this.she was a hardworking intelligent student with a fire to excel prior to this and the only reason she took up fashion is coz she wasnt passionate about economics,a subject which brought down her grades.while i agree with doing what you are passionate about and excelling in it,dont you guys think giving up a conventional career, which promises to give you a secure future in the long run in favor of an unpredictable field is reckless thinking?i cant wholly disagree with suvreen's father's view that she will need more than hardwork and passion to survive in this career, she will need to be shrewd and manipulative, which she isnt,at this stage she's quite naiive and trusting.and luck is involved in these matters if u want to make it big.sometimes, talent does go unrecognized.that alisha chick is far ahead of her in this game, she already has a head start ,being part of the industry and possessing those very traits that suvi lacks.that having said, every profession has one of those manipulative people who twist arms and pull strings for their own purpose, including management and all other white collared jobs, people get promoted on basis of sucking up to their bosses.maybe suvi wouldnt have done it in any other job.still the question remains.was it worth changing career tract from a stable, predictable profession to a creative ,sometimes non paying one?and lets face it.our society is full of people like gyanesh who emulate the so called indian "sanskriti"/culture and donot respect people taking unconventional paths.lets just assume Suvi isnt able to make herself a name in the industry, will people still respect her?wont she be considered a "ladies tailor" equivalent(at least in the middle class community, where she hails from)?

Well, first of all It is an awesome poll...but then then sorry I would like to disagree with it...I would love to talk a lot on this becoz I feel I am very much connected to this topic...but do read it..please...

Lets go point by point by...First of all I dont think Suvi's heartbreak has anything got to do with her taking up Fashion. Yes agreed that she was not exactly a fashion liking kind of girl but then it is not always that u realize dreams and ur calling so easily. Suvi was from a small town and also belong to a middle class family. When she was there probably she did not even know wat fashion was and wat it means. Tat is why she said that she is on her voyage of self discovery. Obviously when she did not even know wat fashion was then how could she even being thinking of taking it. I myself am a commerce student and I had a chapter decision making in Business Management, and I would like to take one policy from that. It always that the decision maker needs to know and understand all the various avenues or alternatives in order to take decision or it is possible that the decision may go against u. The same happened here, I mean she did not know about fashion and neither did she know about management. She took up management just becoz her dad wanted to then how can tat be correct??
Thus, at first she did not probably want to indulge in fashion but then she took her final decision of changing her course after understanding wat fashion is?

Now talking about her Puppa being right. Yes he is right. however to an extent. Because what he told in the last episode was right but then he is wrong to an extent. Yes, I know what people think about this industry...I too had tat misconception but then I feel it is wrong. That is just a bad image that we have ourselves have created for this industry. We just assume things which is not necessarily right. The industry of glamor to has human beings and not animals...and it is not true that all people in the industry are complicated to understand. I myself want to be an actor and what to step into the industry. I too belong to middle class and a simple family thus I know how hard it gets for parents to accept it...I myself am not able to convince my parents about it...may be becoz our parents do get a little protective about us...but thus it will take time to convince them.

Now talking about the last part...that is about what she is not successful?? Trust me I too sometimes think about it...I too think that am I taking the right move by making acting as my dream?? Is it the right profession for me? Will I be secure?? Will I be able to handle what people are going to talk about me? But then all I end up is with one answer and that is that I can for sure overcome anything if I know my dream is right. If I have a confidence in what I am upto then I dont think it is even necessary for me to worry about what others think about me...I need to have the self belief which probably is something very important for anyone aspiring a career in this industry. One thing that I have told myself is that Rejection is something that I need to get used to...but then never consider it the end and also consider it has an opening to success...becoz I believe that any profession has its own risk factor especially in today's competitive world. I mean even if Suvi is into management obviously it is not risk free...infact being a commerce student the first thing I was taught was tat risk is the basic element of anything related to commerce and business.

My simple fundamental is that if u do something that u do not enjoy or like...u wwill never succeed at it.. u will never become the best in that field.. n whatever u do u should try to become the best at.. n for that u need to do something u enjoy n love.. so if that is fashion for suvi.. she should do that.. at the end of the day.. the most important thing is our happiness
