so how many of you think suvreen made a wise choice switching over to fashion?we all know she took this decision during her most trying times(breakup with yuvraaj) and had no idea about fashion prior to this.she was a hardworking intelligent student with a fire to excel prior to this and the only reason she took up fashion is coz she wasnt passionate about economics,a subject which brought down her grades.while i agree with doing what you are passionate about and excelling in it,dont you guys think giving up a conventional career, which promises to give you a secure future in the long run in favor of an unpredictable field is reckless thinking?i cant wholly disagree with suvreen's father's view that she will need more than hardwork and passion to survive in this career, she will need to be shrewd and manipulative, which she isnt,at this stage she's quite naiive and trusting.and luck is involved in these matters if u want to make it big.sometimes, talent does go unrecognized.that alisha chick is far ahead of her in this game, she already has a head start ,being part of the industry and possessing those very traits that suvi lacks.that having said, every profession has one of those manipulative people who twist arms and pull strings for their own purpose, including management and all other white collared jobs, people get promoted on basis of sucking up to their bosses.maybe suvi wouldnt have done it in any other job.still the question remains.was it worth changing career tract from a stable, predictable profession to a creative ,sometimes non paying one?and lets face it.our society is full of people like gyanesh who emulate the so called indian "sanskriti"/culture and donot respect people taking unconventional paths.lets just assume Suvi isnt able to make herself a name in the industry, will people still respect her?wont she be considered a "ladies tailor" equivalent(at least in the middle class community, where she hails from)?
