Though I agree Aashna was very sensible but Nina you really think She would have been a good friend to Archu?? Good friend also points out a mistake when a friend makes one..Aashna has always agreed with everything Archana did...She did not even correct Archana when she took Manav to court. Aashna and now DK all Archana bhakta along with Damo-Vandu..
Aashna may have been partner with DK but she was never independent of DK emotionally...She wanted romance, caring, a child from DK but was always so afraid of confrontation or telling DK...
Yes she was a good friend to Manav...Manav should have found some one like Aashna...They really would have made a good pair and understood each others needs.

For parents, their kids will always remain kids and that's why they may feel the need to still protect and baby them. But many parents also understand that when their children grow older, there's only so much they can do for their child. They have to let the child develop their own identity. Archana's identity is tied to Sulochana just as Purvi's is tied to Archana and to Sulochana. These three see themselves in each other and that's why they are a unit against all others. This would actually be touching if they hadn't ruined their own lives along with others!
