Before the leap they want to make sure that Teju is hooked up with someone.
They should also bring a girl from a South Indian family for Sachin.
The more the merrier
and the easier it will be for them to drag the storyline and borrow stories from here and there.

the more the mayhem, the better the TRP's are, ain't it !! 😊

My belief reiterated all over again, today ! PR is going haywire..

Full scale sulo drama !! who does that kind of stuff in real life, really !! How can u take flowers from God and do a shraadh ! Ridiculous to the extreme ! How is that supposed to be acceptable??

I hope that dufus they showed today, is not for Teju. If so, Just a horrible selection... And, since when does a married Indian woman not put some tilak or sindoor on her forehead.. I guess, if you are Archana Deshmukh everything goes, is it !! Well, guys, saw the 13th model of her mangalsutra today. I am not kidding !! Check yesterday's and today's !

And the pre-cap - Archana maayi finally woke up to the fact that she has some motherly duty towards Purvi, so suggests that she move on.. Really, wonder what happened to this maa ka dil when Purvi was all alone after Ovi's wedding..No words of concern but ready to pass out suggestions.. Oh Well, what else is new..

Might I add... that if PR intends to go the way they are now going... they might wanna invest money into some proper editing and sceenplay since the fight scene in the market was anything but good and looked totally ridiculous. It was like the guy was standing there waiting for Teju to beat him up.
I know Tej could take on anyone... they could at least make it look real. sigh!
As for Sulo and Archana... maybe the apple doesnt indeed fall far from the tree. Sulo could not multi-task raising 3 children, and now, neither can Archana be mother to all at the same time... so I guess Purvi had to wait in line.

The fight scene, if that is what you want to call it, Ash, is ridiculous.. If they had shown Teju yelling and verbally fighting with someone, it is believable. But, this lean girl hitting a sturdy thug, who is waiting to be beaten up, just looked pitiful. Why dont they write these scenes to be atleast borderline in par with the characters !

Archana was a mother for "Ataarah Saal" to Purvi, as she had no one back then.. (How, I hate that word !!)...
But, now that she has a full house, Purvi relegated to back of the line, who high jumps to the front of the line, only in case of tyaags to her dear Aayi, or an errand girl to uphold her sanskaars !!

Sorry to butt in but I live in Delhi.
And all around me I see lots and lots of married Indian hindu women without sindoor these days. They wear it only on special occasions.
And so do they wear differnt mangalasutras, not necessarily on a daily basis though!
Things ARE changing over here.

Hello,

I know you did not reply to me, but to Jyothi. But I still want to say something.

I know and realise things are changing in Delhi and every where in the world we are seeing changes.
However, in Pavitra Rishta, the character of Archana is SUPPOSED to be very sanskaari and uphold all traditions and pavarish and morals and traditions. She is portrayed in that light.
So for ARCHANA not to wear sindoor is noticeable, as that is what we expect of her and that is what the CVs want us to believe - that she is a moral, sanskaari, indian wife. For her not to wear sindoor as a married woman is against what we have seen of Archana in the last 2.5 years and goes against what she stands for.

I think PR is in doldrums, not just because the Arjun Purvi story is in the pits right now. But, looking at the rest of the characters and the story, I really don't have a clue where they are going with anything anymore.

Let us not even go to Arjun !! That is my biggest heartache of all, which if I go into now, will be a saga in itself.

Then comes the so-called triangle, which should not have happened in the first place. The writers did the worst they could, getting Arjun Ovi married in such a bad taste. And now, I feel they do not know what to do with them. They cannot leave them as is, for they are not the second lead, and already losing a chunk of a certain fan base, but they also have no clue how to effectively rectify what was done...Of all the characters, I feel Purvi is dealt the worst. After separating her from Arjun, they have no clue what to do with her. Instead of letting her live with some pride, making something of herself, they are making a mockery of her, jumping her through every angle that is coming up.

Now, as though the existing mess isn't enough, another family has been brought in. So,Yes, the focus should be on her too, but can they wrap up some stories first before they get to new ones? They are not going to do justice to anyone at this rate'

So, with whatever I see, PR is going to be one big headache, which probably should be avoided at all costs. But, alas, if I could do that, I wouldn't be here lamenting now and here at its state. So, I think, it is Advil/Zandu Balm, to the rescue !!

👏👏👏👏👏 Bravo Jyo , what a brilliantly written predicament of us fans! Really nicely done. Especially LOVED all the parts above in bold and how you rightly point out that the CVs/Writers have left so many loose ends...
Thank you, it lightened my heart to read this as I can totally identify with how you feel! Nicely done 😊😃⭐️😳

Vishwap, No need to be sorry to give ur opinion. This is an open forum, and posts are meant to share them. Yes, u are right..things are not the same as before, and they are changing everywhere. I am not that old fashioned that I dont understand it. It is a person's individual choice how they want to be, but that is in real life.
But, I was talking about Archana, the character, who is supposed to be a 5o+year old middle class sanskari woman with 5 kids living in a chawl enivornment.. I would expect her to be shown apporpriately. I dont care if she wears sarees or dresses, that is fine. But, walking around with sindoor on her forehead for her character is not appropriate. My comment was meant for that.

Thanks Abhi. It is frustrating to see nonsense dished out day in and day out in the name of TRP's and expecting us to take it without a word.
