well each n everyone in industry including johar n chopra camp decides their film release date looking at Aamir's film release Aamir don't look at other's date .. after 3idiots industry has declared that AAMIR KHAN film release is a celebration itself .. n it was Chopras who requested Aamir for delay his release during Ghazni .. n for kind info the release date of Talash was fixed before SMJ... n about promotion Aamir knows best how to promote a film thats y he is called d most intelligent man in Bollywood .. if he thinks much promotion is not needed for this movie then that's it .. d movie really doesn't need much promotion
