Right, eppy begins with Anu in his office, unable to concentrate. A sad version of Kasauti is played over him, Mukti and Prem, all three on the verge of tears. [ Well done Prerna, you have successfully made three people extremely unhappy! What a mother! What a woman!]
chahat ke safar mein,
Dilon ke hausalen dekho,
Yeh aksar tooth jaate hai,
Kabhi aansoon bahate hain,
Kabhi chalte hain sehara main
Phir bhi muskuraten hain
Intehaa har ghadi ki
Kasauti zindagi kay
Scene shifts to BTN, where the investors and shareholders are berating Debo for the company's falling stocks and failures. They shout at her and she is mute. They tell her that they trusted her and now they are paying for it.
Then, she-who-must-not-be-named [Grrrrr!] is sitting at a restaurant when two of the shareholders from Debo's meeting come over to her and they talk, voices muted.
Devil Mansion ki do churailo ki meeting ho rai hai [btw, what is Komo wearing? Is it a saree? Is it a dhoti? Nope, its just her "style"] and Komo tells her that they need to make a decision about Prem. She wants to get Prem out of the MD's chair, because it is due to him that they are incurring such losses. He has no interest in work anymore – he's become a deewana.
Debo tells her that she called an investor's meeting today, and they are very worried. "But do you really think that Prem will accept this decision so easily?"
Komo says that he will have to agree, because she has all the board members onside. "He has to leave the post of MD, and after that, my only concern will be to save this company from sinking, because I will not let Prem ruin this company so easily."
So, they are all present in the meeting – Prem [looking HOTT, the only saving grace of today's eppy – and his scene with Mukti, of course], Kobo, the rest of the board members. In fact, everyone but the two board members we saw earlier, talking to "that woman"
Prem shifts around uncomfortably, looking like he would rather be anywhere else that here. Finally he asks if they are all going to sit here in silence all day or will someone say something? "Ex-mom, what's the agenda? Please hurry, I have somewhere to be".
She tells him that they are waiting on two of the Directors. As soon as they arrive, the meeting will start. Prem scoffs. A post-guy comes in and leaves something on the desk. One of the directors reads it and tells them that the two board of directors will be late and they have asked to start the meeting without them. [Sounds fishy to me…]
Prem says that it is about time. Komo says that she has called the meeting to discuss the company's huge loss. Kay channel is racing ahead. Prem looks like he couldn't give a toss [ to be honest, I couldn't give a toss either; the only reason I am watching this scene is because of Prem]
She says that this is all due to our MD, who has become so involved in his personal life, that he is not paying attention to work and business. Prem shoots her a dirty look. She asks all the members to give thought to this and see what can be done.
In the meantime, a car pulls up outside and an unknown person walks out and towards the office. [yup, its her and I don't care how juvenile this sounds, but I'm not saying her name.]
Inside, the board members discuss and outside, the she-devil comes closer.
One of the members says that there is no point to arguing like this; two of their board members are not present. Everyone has 15% shares in this company, so everyone must give their views. Let them come. Suddenly, there is a knock at the door and in she enters.
Now, I'm not updating this part, as per the "rules", so all I can say is this:
• She has bought both the two members' shares and now owns 15% [blooper? Isn't it meant to be 30%, considering every member has 15%]
• She is now a board of director
• All members vote on whether to keep Prem as MD
• He has won, but only by one vote
• That vote was hers
• Komo says that she is being a mother to the guy she supposedly hates
• she gives a bhashan, as usual and says that she owes money to the MD, Prem, and she kept him there so that she can repay him.
• As she turns to leave, Prem is about to say Mother India, when she turns around in anger and shouts "Chup!" [I wanted to kill her here – bloody bhashan devi]
• Then she gives him Mukti's ring back and says that Mukti does not love him, so forget her; then, leaves.
Prem is left alone in the room, shocked at the ring's return, confused and crying. [I can't see him like this; Anu, do something yaar, where the hell are you?]
The sad version of "kya pyar karoge mujhse" plays as he walks out and remembers their moments together. The lyrics are beautiful:
Jab tumse bandh gaya bandhan, juddh gaya jeevan ikraar ka,
Aayega, jhonka bhi aayega, tere mere…yeh pyar ka,
Thorah sa, mujko sambhalne de, toofan thamne de, saathiya,
Maana hai, tujhe apna jaana hai, sang tere…main ho liya
Har dam ab nahi poocho, mujhse…
Kab pyar karoge, mujhse….mujhse
[I can hardly bear to watch this. I couldn't watch it when Mukti was at the receiving end of Prem's pain, and I can't watch it now when the roles have been reversed. Ektaaaaaaaaa, get them together, already! This is torture!! They have NEVER even been a proper couple!! Forget on-off, they were never on! Let them be ON, please!!]
He holds the ring tight in his fist and seems to make a decision.
There is a scene with the she-devil, but you will have to watch the video for that. Sorry, but if she can be stubborn, so can I.
A hallucination of Rishabh is seen for two minutes, for those who are interested.
Prem arrives at Kay Channel and goes in to see Mukti. The watchman is trying to stop him but between his tears and his determination, Prem can't see a thing. He pushes past the watchman and heads towards Mukti's cabin.
Mukti is there with two people talking business when she sees Prem come in. She stops talking. Prem drags her out into the hall [ man, I loved his force, nothing could stop him there! But, I have to say, if he didn't want to create a scene, the better thing would have been to remain in the cabin. There were only two people there, as opposed to the dozens out in the hall. Oh well!] and in the main entrance/reception area, he says,
(Translation in red!)
"Aaj mujhe iss baat ka ehsaas hua, ke jab maine tumhara pyar thukraya hoga, to kitna dard hua hoga tumhe. I'm really sorry. Main nahi jaanta, ke tumne iss dard ko kaise bardaasht kiya hoga. Lekin main iss dard ko bardaasht nahi kar paraha hoon."[Oh, my baby!! ]
Today I have realised how much I must have hurt you when I refused to accept your love. I'm really sorry. I have no idea how you lived with this pain. But I am not being able to tolerate this pain!
"Lekin iss shikand ko leke jao bhi toh kiske paas jayoon? Kaun hai mera iss duniya mein? Tumhare siva iss duniya mein mera koi nahin hai Mukti"[My sweetheart!! Main hoon na!! Don't make me cry, please!!]
But who can I go to with this pain? Who is mine in this world? I have nobody in this world except you!
"You know, jab main khush hota hoon, to mujhe aisa lagta hai ki apni sari khushiyan main tumhare saath baantoon. Jab main udhas hota hoon to mujhe aisa lagta hai ki aona sara dhook tumhare saa…[at this point, he is crying profusely and Mukti is not untouched either. In fact, she was crying from the minute he dragged her outside]…sara dhook tumhare saath baantoon. Issiliye main yaha par aagaya, tumhare paas. Main jaanta hoon ke maine tumhe bahut takleef pohonchayi hai, bahut galat kiya maine, lekin kya iss galati sudharne ka tum mujhe ek mauka nahi dogi?"
You know, when I am happy, I feel like I can share all my happiness with you; when I am sad, I want to share all my pain with you. That's why I came here today - to you. I know that I have hurt you a lot, made a lot of mistakes, but can't you just give me one chance to rectify my mistakes?
"Kitni bar main tumhe kaho ke "I love you", I LOVE YOU MUKTI, I LOVE YOU!!" [ Mukti, for God's sake yaar, hug him, he needs some love, desperately…]
How many times do I have to say that I love you, I LOVE YOU MUKTI, I LOVE YOU!
"Tum jaanti ho jab, Mother India [ he said it, I didn't!] ne mujhe yeh aangooti vapis ki, to muje kaisa laga? Mujhe aisa laga ke tumne yeh angooti vapas nahi lautayi, balki tumne meri saanse cheenli hai. Uss waqt aisa lag raha tha, ke agar tum meri zindagi mein nahi ho, to iss jeene ka koi maksat nahi hai. Main jaanta hoon, ke tumhe isse acha mauka nahi milega, mujhse badla lene ka" [ Prem, believe you me, she is not taking badla…this hurts her as much as it hurts you…]
You know, when Mother India gave this ring back to me, how I felt? I felt like you hadn't given me the ring back; you had taken away my capacity to breathe. At that time, I was feeling that if you are not in my life, there is no point to living! I know, that you will not get a better chance than this to reject me and take revenge from me.
"Tum mere pyar ko thukra kar, yeh badla le sakti ho. Lekin ek shart par."
You can take your revenge by rejecting my love, but on one condition.
He moves in closer and holds her tight.
"Tumhe sirf ek baar meri aankhon mein aankhen dal kar kahena hoga, ke tum mujhse pyar nahi karti" [ at this, she closes her eyes in desperation, because she cannot look him in the eyes like he wants]
Just once. you have to look into my eyes and tell me that you don't love me.
"Sirf ek baar Mukti, I swear to God, main tumse vaada karta hoon, ke main palat kar tumhara chehra nahin dekhoonga. Main bhool jaayoonga ke tum meri zindagi mein thi. Lekin sirf ek baar kehdo ke tum mujhse pyar nahin karti."
Just once Mukti, and I swear to God, I promise you that I won't even turn back to see your face. I will forget that you were ever in my life. But just once tell me that you don't love me.
Just at that precise moment, she walks into the room, and stops dead. Only Prem sees her [Mukti's back is to her[/]], and she seems him. Prem looks at her with hatred, and it ends there.
Man, now Mukti will be forced to say that she doesn't love Prem, and he will be true to his word and leave her alone…and we will not see another PM scene until that goddamn wedding…how depressing. Unless, unless Mukti, who doesn't know that her bully is behind her, tells Prem the truth, that she DOES love him, and what's-er-name hears this and is forced to admit she was wrong. That's a MUCH better plan!!
All things aside, though, I have to say, that Drunk Prem and Majnu Prem get the BEST dialogues!
P.S. If anyone would like me to provide an English translation to Prem's dialogues, lemme no and I will update the post. The words were so beautiful that I didn't want to spoil their meaning by paraphrasing them.
That's all folks!
