Rishi is convinced that Zara will believe everything he says. He goes to her with an accusation against Malik and with insufficient proof.
Zara, who half loves Rishi, is inclined to believe him and is wary of Malik. She does not know what to expect, so she checks for the bullet wound. Nothing is found, Malik is smug, Zara looks guilty, and Rishi is unrepentant.
To the extent that Rishi sees red water coming out of a drain, bangs on the bathroom door, confirms it is Malik, and sprints right back to Zara who believes him once more. She asks Malik the reason for the red water. Malik indicates towards Shweta who is washing a plate full of sindoor. Do not ask why. The CVs have told her to.
Malik expresses his displeasure at the friendship of his wife and Rishi. Zara and Malik go to their room for their private talk. Rishi has some flashbacks about Zara seeing him with her eyes shut and also of her ticking him off in front of her husband. Something occurs to him and he heads right towards Shweta who is filling a sindoor dabba with sindoor. Both couples talk of divorce. Malik has it easy. He just has to utter 'talaq' three times. I am surprised at Rishi and more so at Shweta. Rishi gives a speech about how their marriage isn't working. Throughout his speech, Dr. Shweta is filling an infinitesimally small sindoor dabba with sindoor -- over and over and over again. But the dabba never overflows, and finally, because the dabba is shocked that Rishi has mentioned divorce, it falls down finally.
Till here, I was laughing. From one scene to the other, it was unintentionally funny. No real logic. NO solid thought. I could not get what the point of the epi was. Was it to show that Rishi is a chipkoo (I hate it that they have butchered him to this extent. he resembles a love-sick puppy...not the Rishi I like)??? Was it to show that Zara is confused (I love him, I love him not, I am married, I am married not)??? The only consistent expressions were those of Malik's malice and Shweta's despondence.In the precap, Zara is teary-eyed at being separated from a husband she has never loved. Not just never loved, she has suspected him. Right now, she does not know that he is a terrorist, but she slaps Rishi and throws him out of the room and into Shweta's arms. Symbolic.
Was angry with Rishi for being so vapid. He seems to have lost all judgement of what to say when. He seems to have gone to Zara directly after talking to Shweta about divorce. But he interrupts a conversation that she is having with her husband and talks of marrying her in front of him. There are many Rishi bashers on the forum. I am NOT one of them. I am a Rishi / Sumit fan, but what they did to his character today was deplorable.
