OS- Take My Breath Away
It would soon be 12, another year with him she taught to herself and smiled remembering a similar night last year but yet so different, she paced about the room waiting for him be back after attending the call that had disturbed his deep sleep. She sighed and watched the clock, this year she would willingly see her Laad Governor's face and begin the year she said to herself and giggled remembering how shocked she had been to find him in her room right at 12 on New Year.
Arnav peeked into the dimly lit room and chuckled to himself as he watched his wife worriedly pacing across the room, muttering and waiting for him, her payals and bangles tinkling with every frustrated step she took. 'Patience my dear' he muttered and watched as she bit her nails and glanced at the clock again.
Khushi stood with her mouth open in shock, it would be 12 in two minutes and her Rakshas was no where around, had he forgotten about her wish to see him first just when the clock struck 12. 'Ughh how could he be so forgetful, he remembers all his documents and files but a simple wish like mine, no!' she muttered angrily and walked to the doors leading to the poolside, as she stepped out into the darkness she found it hard to walk without stumbling 'Arnav' she whispered and tried moving by holding on to the walls. 'Oho Khushi you're gonna fall and break your leg if you keep walking like this' she said to herself angrily and slumped on the floor wondering where her idiot husband had suddenly disappeared to.
She stood up frustratingly and wondered if it was already twelve and moved towards the room when suddenly the entire poolside came alive with tiny silver lights, blinking softly seeming like stars dropping down to the ground, Khushi watched with her mouth open wide as the silver lights danced before her eyes seeming magical and divine but what really caught her attention was Arnav's smiling face watching her with so much tenderness that made her heart melt to a puddle of goo.
He walked up to her the smile not leaving his face as he watched her face illuminated by the light, her eyes filled with laughter and that child like smile that always stole his heart. 'Happy New Year Khushi' he said and grinned at her surprised smiling face 'De ja vu isn't it, just the Jalebi's missing' he said and winked mischievously as he reached for the box of orange sugary Jalebi's, he popped a piece into her mouth while she simply stared at him in awe. He snapped his fingers before her eyes effectively bringing her out of her sudden nirvana and watched as she stumbled over her words 'Y..You did...I mean ki...Hey Devi Maya you actually did all this' she said and spread her arms wide while he simply smirked and nodded his head.
He was surprised to suddenly find her flinging her arms around him and hugging him warmly 'Thank you...Thank you so much' she whispered and looked up slowly into the eyes of the man she first wanted to see at twelve, the man she loved. 'Happy New Year' she said softly and melted at the sight of his softening eyes and gentle smile.
'Can you believe we actually fought over not wanting to see each other at twelve last year' she chuckled and buried her head in his chest, she could feel him shaking slowly as he laughed 'I still remember your frozen smile and the half eaten Jalebi in your hand when you turned around and found me in your room' he said 'And here we are in each others arms just a year later, Sanka Devi and her Laad Governor ,married and absolutely in love' she said softly as her heart slowly brimmed with joy. She watched as his eyes darkened and his smile turned so tender that she taught her knees would buckle and felt his warm lips descending upon hers, her eyes closed immediately as she sighed and stood on her toes, locking her hands around his neck, he explored her lips slowly and tortuously taking his own sweet time while she moaned softly and clung to him as he slid his tongue into her mouth, deepening the kiss slowly, stealing her breath away and lifting her off her feet, their mouths moving passionately together, fusing in a never ending dance. She pulled away from him and waited to get her breathing to slow down and leaned their forehead against his. 'I love you' they both whispered together and burst out laughing as he walked with her in his arms to the room, his lips finding hers again.
Please tell me what you taught of this.đ
