AFTER 4 months

"Gappu get up nowww'" a pregnant woman shouting on top her voice from the past 10 minutes, she gets tired and sits next to the sleeping beauty on the bed who is holding her pillow tight to he chest and lost in her dreamland, sleeping.

The woman got an idea she holds her stomach and shouts, "aaahhh." As if she is having a severe pain in her stomach.

Geet suddenly got up and stare at her sister. The women broke into fits watching her little sister's face and said, "Thank God you woke up. Yeh trick hamesha kaam krti h."

"Di aap hamesha aisa hi krte ho. Aapko pata h na mein darr jaati hun." She said rubbing her eyes like a baby.

"hmm, chl mera baby ab uth jaa, get ready fast and come out. Okay." She kissed her head and then got up slowly supporting herself a little and then came out of the room.

She went downstairs to have her breakfast. The breakfast table reminded her of Dadima and how she use to fill her plate with paranthas and all that ghee stuff and asks her to finish it up fast.

"Gappu, aloo ka parantha or gobbi ka?" Naintara asked her.

"Umm, I want aloo today." She replied with a smile.

"Haan aloo kha khakar aloo jaisi banti jaa rhi h, no aloo today chup chap gobbi ka kha, aur mein toh kehti hun ki abhi se tere paranthe band aur cornflakes shuru." Naintara said.

Geet's mouth was like a big O. Naintara's mouth was stuffed with parantha and she said, "Muh band kr, Makki ander chali jayegi. Aise shakalen banane se tuje Aloo ka parantha nhi mil jayega."

Geet knew she couldn't argue with her sister because she will never listen to her, especially with her pregnancy hormones she is turning volcano with sudden eruption of anger.

She made a puppy face and looked at a man sitting across the table reading the newspaper and watching his wife ordering his 'Saali'.

He sighed and put his hand on her wife's hand and said, "Nainu, why are you getting so tensed, Geet ko aloo ka parantha khana h toh usse khane do vaise bhi voh yeh sab calories dance karke aur pure ghar mein udham machakar kum kr hi deti h. Haina." HE said sounding very sweet and polite like hubby-bees.

"Par.."

"Ohoo, par var kuch nhi..Let her eat now." He grabbed the Plate from Naintara and gave it to Geet. She happily took it from him and whispered 'thanks' to him.

HE bowed his head a little like saying my pleasure.

"Geet tumhara kuch competition hone vaala tha na voh best street dancer group vala?" Dev asked her.

"Yup Jiju, its postponed. Few weeks baad hoga ab thank God, hume thoda zyada time mil jayega practice ke liye." Geet said while eating her parantha.

"Okay.. so hows your practice going and hey iss bar hi we want you to win the price of the best street-club dancer." Dev said.

"Of course. Meri puri practice h. I am doing 2 songs solo and plus the group dance so in total 4 songs. Gosh!" Geet said.

"Itni mehnat kyun kar rhi h jab sabko result pata h that you will win. Raat ko tu aise mari padi hoti h apne room mein jaise koi lash ho." Naintara supposed dramatically.

"Okay guys I gotta go now. Shaam ko milte hen."

She kissed Naintara's head and gave a quick cheek kiss to Dev and said, "BYE."

She ran out of house and got inside the car, turned on the ignition and raced the car on the road. She turned on the radio.

Geet went inside the dance academy and site in front her burned her with anger.

Here she was taking care that they all don't get fat or sick and her group members were having a bread pakora party. Rahul saw her and hides his pakora instantly and shouted, "red alert, Hitler aa gyi!" Everyone hides their pakora and stood up in a line.

Geet was staring at them with sooo much anger filled in her hazel eyes like she will eat them instead of that oily fatty thing that she hates.

Raghav broke the tension and said, "morning Ma'am" And nudged Rahul to say something and save them all from this situation.

"Hey Raghav play the music and get started Geet lets start the practice and get ready you lazy bums." Rahul said in order to protect himself from the hands of Miss Devil.

Geet sighed, calm down a bit and called Rahul, "Rahul"

He stopped in his tracks and turned around and Geet said, " what is all this, here I am trying to get you all fit and in shape till the competition and you all eating these road side junk. What if one of you gets sick? Haan tell me!."

"yeah yeah, I am sorry. Geet they all were asking for it and I thought ki ek bar khane se toh kuch nhi hoga na. Aur yeh sab toh bache hi hen. Please Gussa mat ho meri Jaan." He said it dramatically.

Geet smiled and wacked hard on his arm."OUCH! Geet lagti h your hand is made of iron?"

"Aisa hi kuch samjho." Geet replied and call everyone in the middle of the floor for warm up exercise.

There were total 15 students in her academy, actually not hers it was Rahul's academy, age group of students was 8-25 years. Rahul was Geet's friend; he met her in a street dance competition.

She was a great street dancer and dancing was like her life. ONly she knows how hard she controlled her dancing in Khurana Mansion. With Rahul's help she opened a Dance Academy. Rahul's Dad was a Businessman so money was not a problem at all.

Slowly students started coming and Geet selected few of them to make her POPROCKERZ; it was the name of her team/group.

The academy started 2 years ago. And when Geet was busy with her so-called business 😛.

Rahul took care of the academy and the students. She told him that she is going to Mumbai for learning new dance techniques.

She can dance any form, classical, western, belly dancing, ballroom, salsa, etc etc., anything. She can even dance on car horn and simple taping of foot.

She played the song and turned towards the mirror and all started dancing.

Geet made a poor puppy face and said, "hmm". Asking this they both went near her car and Geet made her sit in the car and tucked her seatbelt. (Maan's car 😛, oopss no Now its Geet's😉)

Anu asked in amusement, "your car?"

Geet gulped and said, "YES"

Anu asked, "Sachi?"

"Kyun nhi ho sakti?" Geet asked in irritation.

"Nhi, ho sakti h but aapke pass range rover khareedne ke paise kahan se aaye?" Anu asked her sweetly.

Geet was silent at this. SHE knew that everyone knows that all her money and the consolation prices she gets in the competitions is spent on her clothes. She is a big shopaholic.

"Sachi sachi batao kahin aapne yeh gadi chori toh nhi ki?" Anu asked suspiciously.

Geet was now sweating a little and thought, 'yeh ladhki kitna bolti h. Isse toh Maan ke saath police department mein hona chahiye tha, chor khud hi tang aakar sab kuch bol deta.'

"Chalo anu tumhara ghar aa gya." She ran towards her side and got her down from the car rang the doorbell of her house and ran back as soon as her mother came to receive her.

"Uff bach gyi." Geet said to herself and then started to drive.

She was driving through a deserted road. It was around 8 o'clock at night and it was really dark just some faint light coming from streetlights. This road was famous for some murders and kidnapping cases. The thought itself made her shiver in fear.
