honestly , Gone are the days where shows mean Humlog, Hum Paanch, Udaan, and some other shows i dont rem where traditions are given importance along with novality ...

in todays shows they lack originality , they always start on good note but due to lack of trp nonsense they have to add rain romance and catch falling , sister -cousin, triangle , way too sacrifical bahu, tane maro saasu ma , and all nonsense only to sustain in show buzz...

in previous yrs only few shows had a great start to end ... Gulaal a show i rem which never in SP history bend down for TRP nonsense and i loved it to core ...Bidaai was breath of fresh air on TV which dealt with issues being sane and rest shows had to bend for romance all the way as there was nothing much to offer ... as they have novality for limited tracks and cannot think of interlinking one track with another making it creative and acceptable at same time ...

i am glad DABH is hatke for once

The so called cousin pair has nothing to do is story than putting make-up, standing by side and saying 'haan! theekh hai bhai' or 'main call karta hoon' or 'pata nahin ab kya karoon' or 'tum choti ho, par mujhse samajhdar ho' or 'main phone karke pooch leti hoon' or 'mujhe bahut dar lag raha hai' or 'tum theek hai na' etc...etc...stuffs.

6. The hero and heroine will have only infinite repeated akhiyon se goli maare eye-locks, I fall you pakad dramas and chunari flying on face of the macho man contests...

7. It will have an MIL who though makes only mistakes, is always all set to teach others the right.

8. Bombstic MILs are always having their punch dialogues like 'ek langdo, ek kaani, arrey main ekli siyaani..'

Now I wish I watched more serials, just for the laughs. I'm glad DABH has very little resemblance to the typical Indian serial, as outlined in the article.
