Khushi was really happy after all she had finally got her phone towards the end of her first year in college.
It was time for khushi to go online and arnav was waiting for her...
K: hi arnav how are you?
A: i am good how are you?
K: im good too...got my phone today...
A: thats great
K: when are you getting one?
A: i don't need a phone khushi!
K: ok arnav!

They continued with their conversation as usual...

Few days had gone by and as usual both of them were busy in their own world.
Khushi's father and payal had gone out of station so it was only khushi and her mother at home.
It was new years eve ' 31st Dec 2007.
Khushi and Garima decided to celebrate on their own so they went out to buy some food from a restaurant and other snacks for their little mid-night party...
They were returning home when khushi got a call from an unknown number.
She picked up the call
Hello khushi will you be awake at 12 tonight?
K: yes i will be..but y?
Do you know who this is?
K: yes i know ( roshan bhai was buaji's son...she had two sons and one daughter)
Really ? you know who it is?
K: yes i do!
A: ok i just called today to ask you if you will be awake at 12
K: yes i will be but why?

K: wait a minute...who is this

Its me arnav!
It took some time to sink in and khushi just started shivering with nervousness and at the same time she was blushing like crazy. She could not even utter a word she spoke but no sound came out.
A: khushi? Khushi!
K: hmm yes hi
A: hi
Khushi i goto go now i'll call you at 12
K: why
A: to wish you khushi! Obviously!
K: ok
A: what is wrong with you? Why can't you talk?
K: nothing
A: ok fine khushi i will call at night please talk that time!

Arnav cut the call..what is wrong with this crazy girl he thought!
Khushi on the other hand was still shivering and blushing
G: khushi whose phone was it?
K: my friend's
G: will you stop smiling like an idiot!

Khushi felt like dancing that moment. Arnav had called her...really he had called her? She couldn't believe it!

It was finally mid-night and khushi's heart was going

Just then her phone started ringing
Oh god please give me the strength...
K: hello

Shit! That's it she was dead!

K: nothing just spending some time with mom

A: i have dads phone with me today so i'll try and call you again later now these guys are calling me and i don't want them to know coz then they will tease us like hell...

K: because college starts day after and there is lots of pending work left which i haven't done so i want to complete it ( and even if i try to sleep i won't be able to i am so excited)

She kept the phone down still grinning foolishly!
She got a text message at that time from raksha
R: hey khushi happy new year have a wonderful year...wish you all the happiness
K: thanks raksha wish you the same
R: how are you khushi?
K: i am good what about you?
R: how is arnav?
K: he is good too in a party right now...
R: you both?
K: no my dear how is that possible...he is in delhi n i am here...
R: oh ok sorry
K: it's ok...by the way why are you asking about arnav? Din't speak to him kya?
R: no khushi its been quite a while...i kind of miss him...
K: why what happened?
R: i don't know khushi...if you don't mind can i ask you a question?
K: of course you can dear what's there to ask in that?
R: please don't take me wrong but i just want to ask you...if ever you get committed to arnav will you allow him to speak to me?
What sort of weird question is this? But her heart skipped a beat did raksha know something? Did arnav tell her? Even if he did like shez going to tell you khushi!
K: raksha what sort of question is that?
R: you know arnav keeps saying that if he gets committed he won't talk to other girls..hez quite serious you know.
K: like that will happen raksha...and by the way arnav and i are not going to get committed...and still if you want to know my answer i will not stop him...hez your friend before we started talking so i will never stop him i am not so cheap my dear

R: khushi your so sweet you and arnav should get committed.

Khushi immediately took the phone and called up preeto to tell her everything...
She was talking to preeto when arnav called up again..
K: hello arnav
A: one sec khushi
K: arnav?
A: call me back in 5 mins
K: ok
After 5 mins khushi called him...
A: hi khushi
K: hi arnav what are you upto?
A: still in the party...i just escaped and came out to talk to you...but if these guys see me i'm gonna be bombarded with questions..
K: then you better go arnav
A: 2 minutes khushi
K: ok
A: what are you doing?
K: completing my work but i was talking to preeto before this
A: oh how is she?
K: she is fine
A: that's good
Khushi i feel like talking to you all night
She blushed like crazy..
K: lol arnav!
A: what do you mean
K: nothing
A: ok i goto now dear tc...
K: k bye tc
Arnav kept the phone.
Then she got a sms
A: khushi you sound so sweet on the phone...thank you for receiving the call and talking to me...may you have the best year ahead. I know mine will be the best J
Khushi why the hell are you so sweet.
K: awww arnav thank you...blush blush blush ...and even i am sure mine will be the best.

Khushi did not sleep the whole night she still couldn believe it...she was so excited...garima had asked her to sleep so with great difficulty at around 4:30 am she slept.
She kept getting up in between and finally by 9:30 she fell into deep sleep...
10:30 am
Again her phone rings...
She picked up...
A: good morning khushi (in a sleepy husky voice)
Damn he sounds so hot!
K: hmmm morning arnav ( in a sleepy voice)
Dammit she sounds pretty sexy

A: what time did you sleep khushi?
K: 4:30 arnav
A: what? What is wrong with you why the hell were you up so late?
(like i'm gonna tell you i couldn sleep with excitement so i was completing my work)

A: i came home in the morning and slept at 6:30
K: what? So why did you get up so early go back to sleep!

A: what happened khushi? What is she saying?
K: oho nothing arnav she just asked me to put on the motor

He cute the call and both of them were smiling away to glory the whole day. Arnav loved her voice and she loved his too.
These two were crazily in love with each other and they had hidden their feelings for too long now...it was time to express it as living without each other had become absolutely impossible for them.
