- No Khushi doesnt see but figures its him. Why did Sheetal call out his name at that time?
- This I believe will be a SS. I plan on four or five chapters.
- Like I said this story is just a way to get over my frustrations...it'll be to the point. Hopefully.
Chapter 2
The rest of the night Khushi was numb. She could have named herself a walking dead body. There was no other way to describe. She absolutely had no thoughts or feelings. She would have believed her blood drained but then she was moving around, and one surely cant without any blood.
She opened her closet, blindly took out her bed clothes and went into the bathroom to change.
She came out, sat infront of the mirror and brushed her hair.
Arnav came into the room to see his wife's hair open, straight on her back. He looked at the brush slipping through and it made his fingers twitch to run them through instead of that brush.
"Khushi?" Arnav called her.
When she didnt respond, he figured she was zoned out like she has been for the last few days.
Leaving her alone, he went to get ready for bed.
By the time he was out, Khushi was in bed.
So much for thinking he had a romantic wife.
He turned off the lights, turned on the side lamp on dim, and slipped under the bed covers.
He slithered close to her, putting his arm around her waist to pull her back against his chest.
He nuzzled her hair, smelling her scent...some kind of flowers...so khushi-ish.
"Khushi" he whispered in her ear and kissed the lobe before tugging it with his teeth.
She placed her hand on top of his, which lay on her stomach. She still couldnt form anything in her head.
Arnav started a trail of kisses from under her ear to her neck. The feel of her soft, smooth skin, made him twitch and harden below.
Not so discreetly he grinded his hips against her butt, making his intentions clear.
He turned her around on her back, crawled over, bending his head forward to kiss and suck her expected throbbing vein. But there was none.
"Whats the matter babe?" Arnav looked up at her face.
She was so distant. He could now feel her not be there...for a whole moment he had gotten lost in his desire.
"C-can I ask you something?" she whispered.
"Yeah" he said, resting back on his elbows, giving her his full attention.
"I-its about Sheetal..."
"what about her?" he asked, keeping his temper in check.
"How long did you guys, um, you know, um, date for?" she looked at him through her lashes.
He couldnt keep his temper in check.
Suddenly he moved away from her and sat back on the bed.
"Enough Khushi. Im tired of this. I told you it was the past, it does.not. matter now" he nearly yelled.
"I know Arnav but I am just asking" she tried to control her anger that was starting to build.
"Why? You must have a reason behind it Khushi. I dont know, for few months maybe...happy?!" he snapped.
"How close did you guy get?"
"I am done Khushi. No more. I told you before, I am telling you now, youre the only one in my life now. I was not how I am today, then. None of it meant anything even then and now. Please try to understand and get over your jealousy" he explained and got up to leave the room.
When he left, a tear escaped down her temple and whispered, "not for her Arnav. She still loves you."

The next morning Sheetal was at the table bright and ready for work in pencil skirt and a blue camisole.
Arnav came and sat in his usual style and roughly started to spread butter over his toast.
"Morning Arnav!" Sheetal chirped.
"Morning" he smiled lightly.
"Hows your schedule like today? Do you think you can grab lunch with me today...just like old times?" she asked him raising her eyebrows expectantly.
"I-I uuh" Arnav did not expect that. He was thinking of forming a meeting at that time when he heard the sound of her payal.
Anger came rushing back. His mouth formed a thin line and he said, "sure we can."
"Great!" Sheetal exclaimed.
"Morning Sheetal" Khushi greeted her without a smile.
Behind her, other family members started joining for breakfast.
"I got to leave now. Drop Aarav to school and then work..."
"Yeah I'll leave in few minutes" Arnav checked his watch.
Sheetal and Aarav waved everyone bye and left.
"Arnav, few more minutes, I will pack your lunch" Khushi spoke.
"No dont. Dont worry about it" he said crisply.
~~~
Later in the evening, when everyone were sitting together talking, Sheetal came down and sat with them.
"Arent you going to eat Sheetal?" Anjali asks her looking up from her magazine.
"Oh no. Arnav and I had lunch in the afternon, it was quite heavy and Im still full from it" she put her hand on her stomach to emphasize the fullness.
"Oh okay" Anjali smiled.
Khushi who was talking with Payal, froze in her seat.
No, no, no! She knew what Sheetal felt for her husband. Jealousy and anger together was not making a good reaction in Khushi. She stood up straight and like her husband strode with anger and power upstairs to their room.
