Please forgive me Geet for whatever I did nd give me chance to prove myself as a worthy husband just once.

Geet I won't say that I am ready to move on with you because it's really difficult for me to do so at present nd this you also know nd no one can understand me better than you but Geet I'll try nd all I need is some tym nd some trust from you. Maan looked at his watch then back at his cellphone which was still lyieng lifelessly on the table ahead him. It's been almost 2 hours since he is here stuck up in this construction site which was facing some disputes among manger nd labour regarding wages nd quality of materials being used nd Maan is trying his best to resolve the matter soon so that he can go back to his home nd most importantly to Geet to know what punishment she has decided for him or whether she had forgiven him also or not. But it seems that the matter is not going to resolve so soon nd he still had to stay over here for few more hours. He cursed his bad luck umpteenth tym for making him stuck up in this situation when he should be at home at this moment confessing his turmoil to his wife face to face nd not through letter.

He was in deep nd peaceful sleep when his cellphone has buzzed in the wee hours of morning thus disturbing his peaceful sleep nd his forehead crinkled in worry as he looked at the screen he found "Adi" flashing on it. He knows that Adi never disturbs him at this hour until nd unless there is something important nd therefore he gently disentangled himself from Geet who was cuddling up to him in sleep nd goes to another corner of room to talk to him. And as he came to know about the situation he just asked Adi to do all the arrangements of their departure before cutting the call nd going to washroom to get ready.

He was taking his watch from side table after getting all dressed up when his gaze falls on sleeping form of Geet who still looks so pale after her emotional breakdown. He sighed at his fate that always plays with him like this only. When he wanted to stay away from her then it always gives him this reason or that to bring him near her nd today when he don't want to go anywhere leaving here then this problem had arise. If it was unavoidable then he wouldn't have left like this but he was helpless right now nd could do nothing to avoid this problem. Therefore he just took a pen nd paper from the table nd wrote all that was there in his heart along with the reason of his sudden departure nd kept it under the note pad making sure that it grabs Geet's attention as soon as she woke up.

"I'll be back soon Geet for you just for you. Afterall I yet had to take my punishment from you. Wait for me" Maan said as he gently caressed her forehead before placing a soft kiss over there nd left from there but not before giving a last look to her promising silently that he'll be back soon.

So now here he is waiting for this mess to clear up son so that he could go back to his wife who must be waiting eagerly for him. But damn this matter doesn't seem to resolve so soon, he thought frustratingly as he once again looked at his cellphone hoping to be "Geet" name flashed on the screen but to his disappointment it was still lifeless like before.

"Geet ko mera letter Mila to hoga Na. Ofcourse she must have got Afterall I had put it just beside her. But then why she didn't call me yet? Woh theek to hogi Na? Kahin use Kuch... No Maan, don't think like that. Geet must be fine; she has to be fine. But then why she didn't call me yet? Is she very much upset from me? But still she would have called me becoz she knows that I am waiting for her call so desperately. Should I call her? But what if she didn't like that, I mean she needs some tym to decide afterall its about her future. Don't worry Maan she must have stuck up in something nd as soon as she would be free from it she'll call you nd moreover she must be needing sometym to decide so just relax nd wait for sometym." He thought as he sighed heavily don't know whom is he consoling himself or his heart

"S-s-sir. You okay." Maan heard Adi's stammering voice that bring him out from his reverie nd he just gave a curt nod acknowledging his presence over there before resuming the conversation with the engineers.

Geet came out from the washroom wiping her hairs when her gaze falls on the letter lyieng on the table calling out for her attention making her remember that Maan must be waiting for her call. She instantly ran towards the table nd grabbed her cellphone nd quickly punched Maan's number but once again she was welcomed by the computerized message stating that due to low network call cannot be connected. She tried yet again nd once again same message welcomed her. Irritatingly she throwed her cell away somewhere on the bed nd thumped on it holding her head between her hands. She desperately wanted to talk to Maan right now nd here this network was becoming another hurdle in their relationship, she thought as she once again picked up the cellphone to call him but once again all she got is disappointment

Since the tym she had got Maan's letter where he had poured out his heart her heart was not at peace. She desperately wanted to see him or even just hear him once. She was all in tears when she finished reading Maan's letter nd a drop of tear rolled down from her cheek nd fell on his name when she realized what all Maan has gone through in these two months. What turmoil he had faced while differentiating between his attraction nd love. Nd may be thatsy everything has gone out of hand like this when he had seen the renovation on the room; she thought as she clutched the letter close to her heart feeling his agony. she instantly remind of what her Badi Maa has said regarding her mother nd father relationship nd how her father was not ready to accept that he had started loving his mother. Probably Maan too was in same dilemma when he had said those hurtful words to her, she thought as she cursed herself umpteenth tym for not understanding his condition all this while.

Geet re-read the last part of the letter where he had left it on her to decide whatever she wants nd whatever punishment she wants to give him nd her heart went out for him when she realized that even after not being completely in mistake he was asking her to punish him but not at the cost of her happiness, her normal self. He can't bear her indifference because he can't see her fighting like this with herself. At that moment only she has decided what she has to do. She didn't even gave to second thought to her decision because she knows that what she has decided is not at all wrong.

She decided to give Maan a chance, to give him the tym to accept his feelings to himself. No matter how many days, how many weeks, how many months or how many years he wants but she'll give him that tym nd will wait for him till eternity just like she use to do till now. Yes for sometym she got budged from her decision nd therefore has started expecting his Love for her. She had forget that she had decided to love him selflessly nd unconditionally without expecting anything in return nd may be thatsy she had though unknowingly had hurted him but not now. As Badi Maa said she had to keep her patience like her mother nd if her Love is true then soon Maan will accept this not only to himself but to her also that he loves her irrecoverably, she thought as she instantly wiped away her tears nd searched for her cellphone to call him nd tell that she don't have any punishment to give him bas just he come back soon so that she could hide herself in his arms like before nd tell him that she's ready to wait for him till her last breath.

But as she punched his number on the cellphone she found a computerized message from other side stating that his cell is out of network coverage area. She tried again nd again in the hope that may be the message on the other side would change nd instead of this computerized voice she could hear the voice of the person who is her lyf but it's still the same as it was before. Sighing heavily she just puts her cellphone aside nd left for washroom to take shower in the hope that when she'll come out she'll be able to talk to him

So now here she's once again trying his cellphone but this tym instead of out of network coverage area it states that due to busy network call cannot be connected. She was getting restless by every passing minute nd this non-connection of call was just adding more fuel to her miseries. She don't know why but she's having this uncanny feeling that something bad is going to happen, that somewhere something is not right. She kept her hand on her thudding heart nd shrugged off all the bad thoughts that were clouding her heart but her restlessness was nowhere to be subsided. Last tym she had this type of feeling when she got the news of Sameera's mission nd then her accident. After that incident she's having the same feeling now that indicates that something is going to happen.

"Maan" she whispered her name as she kept her hand on her heart closing her eyes nd shrugging off all the bad thoughts that are covering her heart nd mind regarding him.

She has to talk to him anyhow. Nothing bad is going to happen to him. She won't let anything happen to him; she thought as she once again grabbed her cellphone nd punched his number with her shivering hands praying to god that she would be able to listen to his voice nd it seems that God has finally listen to her as this tym she heard the ringing sound of his cellphone from the other side making her sigh in relief as she waited impatiently for him to take the call.

Maan was in meeting with the engineers when he felt the vibration on his cellphone nd his eyes instantly lighten up when he saw the same name flashing on the screen of which he has been waiting for so long. His heart danced in joy when he saw Geet's name flashing on the screen but at the same tym this anticipation was also there that what she must have decided. Will she forgive him nd give him a chance or just punish him by leaving him or any other thing, he thought as he excused himself for a while leaving Adi to handle the meeting nd goes to the far corner to take the call. With a thudding heart he had pressed the "Answer" button only to be greeted by the same melodious voice which he has been dyeing to listen from so long.

"Maan. Where are you? You are fine Na? When will you come back? Everything is fine over there Na?" he heard tirade of questions from the other side as soon as he picked up the call nd he couldn't help with the chuckle that escaped listening to the series of questions of his naive nd innocent voice

"Geet, I am fine nd now after hearing your voice I am absolutely fine. Just relax." He said in order to calm down his hyper wife nd Geet just sighed in relief listening to him all safe nd sound. Few moments passed by but none spoke to each other as Geet was trying to formulate correct sets of words to convey her feelings while Maan was waiting impatiently for her to speak.

"Geet, tum theek ho Na." Maan said after a while breaking the ice between them making Geet realize that Maan is on call.

"I am fine Maan. I wanted to say something to you." Geet said after taking a deep breath nd Maan just held his breath waiting for her to continue.

"Maan... Woh I read your letter...woh I wanted to say that I..."

"Hello... Hello Geet... you there?" Geet heard Maan's voice interrupting her in between nd her senses instantly shots up as she felt that uncanny feeling gripping her heart yet again.

"Hello Maan... Maan can you hear me?" She asked as she went near the window in panic.

"Ya Geet... network over here is low... What were you saying..." Geet heard Maan's voice coming in gaps thus increasing her anxiety.

"Maan... I want to say that I am ready to wait for you forever... I am ready to give you whatever tym you wanted... Hello Maan... Maan you listening to me" she said when she felt no response from other side.

"Geet I am not getting your voice clearly... Wait let me go to some other side." Maan said as he located a secluded corner of the building hoping to get some network.

It was the area where some electric work was going on along with welding nd since all the workers were at strike as the structure of building of that side was weak no worker was there at that tym. Maan was so desperate to talk to Geet that he forgot this fact nd moved towards that side in order to get proper network. Adi tries to stop him as he saw her going over there but Maan was too lost in listening to what Geet was saying that he didn't paid attention to what Adi is saying nd just signaled him to handle the meeting while he'll be back soon unknown of the danger awaiting for him

"Ya Geet now say. Here the network is quiet good." Maan said as soon as he reached to that corner. Geet who was holding her breath till now sighed in relief when she heard him again all safe nd sound nd hence shrugged off all the bad thoughts thinking it to be fragment of her imagination but least she knows that her sixth sense was continuously indicating about the danger which Maan was going to face

"Maan woh I wanted to say that I..." Her words left unsaid as she heard a loud sound from other side of something crashing down. The wires spread over there caught some fire thus resulting into short circuit nd since the structure of the building was weak it couldn't bear this nd resulted into falling down.

"Maan'.. Maan you fine Na'.. What kind of sound was that? Please say that you are fine." Geet said gluing the cellphone tight to her ears nd next moment she heard a sound of something blasting along with Maan's scream.

"MAAN!!!!!!" she screamed out loud nd her hand accidently hits the box of Sindoor kept on the table while turning making it spill on the floor nd she thumped on the floor numb nd horrified with this inauspicious sign nd the turn of events with phone still clutching to her ear her. She could listen rushing sound of peoples talking but she could hardly make out what are they speaking but one thing for which her heart is sure that Maan has became the victim of some big danger.

"MAAN!!!!!!" she screamed out his name yet again as tears started to fall from her eyes as she felt her lyf slipping away from her hands nd all she could do is to just sit over there numb while the person who is sole reason of her existence was lyieng over in pool of blood

Geet looked through the glass circle of the door of ICU nd her heart cried as she seeing the person who is sole reason of her existence surrounded by wires nd pipes fighting between life nd death with doctor rushing here nd there treating him, checking the machines, injecting him saline. Everytym any nurse or doctor came out from the ICU she looked at them expectantly but Everytym her expectation just broke when they disappears back inside the ICU with a worried face. Maan's operation was done but still his condition was very critical. She heard doctor saying that he got injured badly on his head causing to heavy blood loss along with Deep wounds on rest of the body nd fracture on his Left arm nd few other places but she was standing over there all numb looking at him through the glass door with her teary eyes

Whole Khurana nd Handa Family was present over there nd they cried seeing the condition of these two souls especially Dadimaa nd Madhu who were crying their eyes out seeing the condition of their children. Madhu goes near Geet nd kept a hand on her shoulder to get any response from her but it seems that world around Geet has stilled as her eyes were just fixed on the door looking at the person who is fighting for his lyf inside. Annie hugged her while crying seeing her state but Geet didn't respond at all. She is in the same condition since the tym she had heard the sound of blast from other side.

It was her loud scream that draws Dev's attention as he was passing by her room nd he immediately rushed inside her room only to find her sitting on her knees on floor with phone in her hand all numb nd silent with tears flowing from her eyes. He immediately called Dadimaa nd others nd all were shocked to see this state of hers. Dadimaa shrugged her shoulders to gain her attention but she was not responding at all. It was then Dev noticed that she was on some call nd he immediately took her cell only to find that she's talking to Maan. Without wasting any minute he had dialed Adi's number sensing something dreadful nd his fears come true when Adi confirmed about the accident taken place on the site nd informed them to reach the xyz hospital soon as they are admitting Maan over there.

And since then Geet didn't said a word but she was listening to each nd every word that people were saying around her. She heard the comforting words of her Badi Maa, she heard doctors telling about how deep Maan's injuries are nd how critical his condition is, she heard Vicky nd Savera assuring her that Maan will be fine but she didn't responded because her mind was just stuck at the condition of the person behind that glass door. It was Madhu who had jerked her hard to bring her back in the present making Geet to look at her confusingly.

"Badi Maa, Dadimaa please don't cry. Nothing will happen to Maan. Doctors to Kuch bhi kehte hai. I am saying Na nothing will happen to Maan. Vicky, Dev you both say them Na that Maan will be fine. He has to be fine. Hai Na." Geet blabbers amidst her tears nd everyone just felt a lump on their throat seeing her trying to be strong when she very well knows that from inside she too is breaking

"Ya Bhabhi Maan Bhai will be fine. You please sit over here." Vicky said as he tries to make Geet sit on the nearby bench but she refused to move away from there nd just keeps on looking inside the ICU. Savera gestured him to not to force Geet so he just moved aside leaving her alone over there to look at Maan.

Vidyut saw Geet's condition nd he felt the corner of his eyes burning seeing her in that state. His hatred towards Maan nd Geet's relationship was different but his Love for Geet is different nd it was really unbearable for him to see her in this state. He wanted to comfort her, to save her from breaking down, to engulf her in his arms where she could cry her heart out but he could do nothing of that rather than just looking at her helplessly. He was equally worried for Maan's condition too but more worried for Geet's this state. Therefore shrugging away all the thoughts of right nd wrong, he just went near her nd kept a comforting hand on her shoulder to assure her that everything will be fine. Geet felt the skin of her body crawling when she felt a touch other then Maan's she immediately looked at the person only to find Vidyut standing over there with an assuring eyes nd worried face. She looked at her for a while as if trying to read what's there in his mind nd then just removed his hand aside slowly nd goes to stand near Dadimaa leaving Vidyut behind hurt nd disappointed.

It was more than 3 hours nd doctors were still treating him nd by every passing minute Geet's condition was worsening in fear. She clutched her Mangalsutra tight in her hand nd closed her eyes to keep away all the bad thoughts that were clouding her heart nd mind praying to her Babaji to grant her Maan's lyf. Unknown to herself tears were continuously flowing from her eyes seeing the sudden turn of events. She remembered the moments that she had spent with him, the most blissful moments of her lyf nd now everything seems to be misty nd blurred in the fog of this bitter reality. Why god is being so unfair to her. If she has done any mistake then he should have punished her, why is he punishing Maan like that, she thought as she tries to muffle her sob. If anything would have happen to him today then she won't be able to live. But then she immediately shrugged off the thought of anything happening to him. How can she even think of something like this? She won't let anything happen to him until she's alive. Every trouble has to cross her first before reaching to her. She won't hesitate in even shedding the last drop of her blood if it costs his lyf. Yes she'll save him no matter what. He had to be fine for her, she won't let anything happen to him, she thought determiningly as she looked at the door of ICU only to find doctor coming outside with a worried face.

"Mrs. Khurana Relax first of all. We are trying our best but his condition is really very critical. Though his operation was done nd we had stopped internal bleeding too but his condition is still very serious. His Pulse rate is getting low every minute even his BP is fluctuating. And the worst part is that he's sinking by every now nd then. We are trying our level best to save him but I am afraid to say that we are not getting the response we are expecting. His body is not responding to our treatments. If his body didn't respond to our treatment within 24 hrs den condition can be more dangerous for him. You all just pray to God that he respond as now only a miracle can save him." Doctor revealed nd colors of everyone faces washed away as they listened the dreadful condition of Maan. Geet felt the floor beneath her slipping away nd she thumped on the nearby bench listening to what doctor has said. She felt like she'll die den nd dere only. Why god is not taking her lyf before making her witnessing this condition of Maan, she thought as she looked at the door painfully

"Doctor there must be some way. Call the best specialists but please save Bro. don't care about the money. I want best treatment for my brother." Dev said in panic not able to believe what Doctor is saying

"Mr. Khurana I had already informed the best surgeon nd he's on his way but you also try to understand that Mr. Khurana's body needs to respond to our treatment. Don't worry keep praying for him. God will never unheard the prayers of his loved ones." Doctor said as he puts a comforting hand on his shoulder

None of them stopped her as they all know that how important it is for Geet to see him nd now only she nd her prayers could save Maan from death. Vidyut saw her rushing inside the ICU like a maniac nd he just looked other side hiding away his tears seeing her immense love for someone else.

Geet slowly entered inside d ICU looking at Maan's lifeless body. Fresh tears welled up in her eyes as she had his close view. His whole body was injected with so many wires nd tubes while his hand was injected with so many needles nd her heart pained to see him like that. She could hear the beep sounds of machines that were attached to his body nd her heart sank in fear when she the machines not showing desired effect. She slowly went near him nd sat beside his bed on the stool nd holds his hand in hers while biting her lips to muffle the sob that was desperate to escape her throat seeing his condition. She gently kissed the back of his palm as a drop of tear fell on his hand indicating her pain.

Everyone gathered around her as soon as she came out from the ICU asking her numerous questions about Maan's condition nd all but she replied to none nd just looked at the direction of the exit. It was then Madhu nd Dadimaa saw some strange emotion in her eyes making them halt in her questions. There was a strange determination in them, a kind of madness that they knew could only be there when a married woman decide on something on the cost of her lyf. Madhu knew the extent of Geet's love for Maan but right now even she had shivered seeing the intensity of her eyes. But before she or other could say or ask something from her she made her way across the corridor towards the exit leaving everyone behind baffled nd confused. Vidyut too noticed same what Madhu had noticed nd he was sure that she's upto something which can be dreadful for her nd therefore he turns to run behind her to stop her when he was halted by Vicky.

"Vicky Why had you stopped me? Can't you see Geet is going somewhere" Vidyut chided him as he tries to free his hand.

"Vidyut Bhai, Geet Bhabhi won't listen anyone right now. Nd don't worry I am going behind her. You stay at the hospital only as Dev Bhai won't be able to handle everything alone nd he must be needing you. Please you had to be here to support Dadimaa nd others. Don't worry I'll be with her all the tym nd I promise that I'll come back after taking Bhabhi along with me only." Vicky tries to make him understand the situation nd Vidyut just looked other side in frustration feeling helpless. Vicky looked at him for a while nd then left to the direction where Geet has left not knowing what exactly was running in her mind.
