Throughout the episode, it was a lesson on Rishtas, wasn't it? Almost as if a preamble to how the students will fail the lesson when the one imparting them is in trouble. Will the family hold the hand of the one who very subtly kept the family together and motivated in this hour of crisis when she herself needs them to understand?

Upon watching the episode again, can I say the biggest laugh-out-loud moment was when Yash hints to SP "if mom had been here- maybe your reaction would have been less severe?"... Hmm.. Yash beta- have you MET your mother? 😃😆

Samana, Jyo, Zetter, Indu, Kt, kittya, Anonee, Morris, Dora, and others --- so many wonderful and meaningful takes today that were very inspiring and enjoyable to read. They give a lot of food for thought. Thank you all.

Today's episode was really good, full of drama and some unexpected twists and turns. One thing I noticed today throughout the episode with each of the couples was the support they showed to each other and in each of the relationships one partner had something to hide.

Pankaj and Vidhi

When the police leave, Vidhi is visibly shaken so Pankaj is seen consoling her in his protective embrace, while assuring her that he won't let anything happen to her. Later on he finds out from the inspector that the necklace Vidhi was wearing was not polished but in fact new and so the officer were coming the next morning to take her away so remembering his assurances, he paces the living room trying to find a solution to the problem. On hearing Yash and Aarti's talks regarding Paridhi, Vidhi then reveals that Paridhi is hiding something relating to the producer's murder making Pankaj question how she had that much information. The truth then comes out that Vidhi and Prateek knew about Paridhi's job causing Pankaj to yell at Vidhi for keeping it from him but even though he yell's to vent his frustration he stands strongly by Vidhi's side as seen when he moves he away when Paridhi was trying to apologise.

Prateek and Paridhi

Prateek and Paridhi are on their way to the airport where they will be leaving forever, unknown to Prateek as he thinks they are going on their honeymoon. When Aarti calls Paridhi to find out about Vidhi's necklace and tell her the police of the police visit, she is caught blatantly lying to Prateek about the call, causing Aarti to suspect her and realise that she is running from the situation. She quietly switches off their phones and at the airport when she realises that she could be questioned by Prateek as to why his phone is switched off, she fakes a headache asking him to get her medication. She then takes the opportunity to call her mom and tell the news regarding the police. Aarti however takes the phone from her mother and asks her to come back and face everything rather than running away and living with the guilt.

Both return home and head straight to Vidhi asking her forgiveness. Pankaj initially does not want to forgive them but after some coaxing from Yash he agrees so Paridhi reveals the truth excluding the night she spent with the Producer. Hearing the truth, Prateek's first response was not one of anger at her but one of concern that she has been bearing this for so long without even telling him. When Sp interrupt their talks stating that he will not help Paridhi, Prateek goes to him to ask forgiveness and even collects a slap in the process.

The next morning when Paridhi reveals the truth to the inspector, Prateek stands by her and is even ready to go to jail on her behalf by taking the blame on himself. The inspector however sees through his act and ignores his talks. Paridhi is taken away and he is one of the persons begging for forgiveness for his and Paridhi's mistake.

Yash and Aarti

Together, they acted as the backbone of the Scindia family today. Through every step of the way, Yash was by Aarti's side. When Aarti calls Paridhi to ask about the necklace and inform her of the police situation, he is protectively standing to the back of her and when she is finished both come together to figure out Paridhi is hiding something big. Seeing Vidhi in such a state with Pankaj consoling her, they knew they had to do something but before making any move, Yash felt that he needed to apologise for not being able to celebrate Aarti's birthday the way he planned but she being a selfless person lets him know that she cannot celebrate while someone else in the family is facing problems. They then move to the next target, i.e. Paridhi's mom and even though Aarti is the one doing the convincing, Yash is there to stand and support her. In part of her convincing, Aarti even reveals that she made many mistakes, with Yash looking up at that statement, but she has managed to learn something from it. She even tells Paridhi about true love, gaining some admiration from Yash based on her views. I have a feeling when the divorce truth does come out, Yash will think back on all these incidents and be her support.

When Prateek and Paridhi return home, Yash and Aarti are the ones that bring the family together as they take turns pleading with Pankaj and SP. Pankaj is easy to convince by SP proves to be so tough that Aarti uses her birthday wish to ask for Paridhi's forgiveness, making Yash admire her as well as feel proud to know that she is his wife. I think she also earns some admiration when she asks the inspector not to place handcuffs on Paridhi when the police were escorting her out of the mansion. Just as how Aarti earned Yash's admiration, I think Yash earned Aarti's when he opposes SP's view on working women. Yash's view is that just because a woman works outside of the house, does not mean that she is characterless and many modern women know how to balance their household responsibilities as well as a job. I think this is why he never made a fuss over Aarti assisting him with his work.

Shobha and Dubeyji

Prashant gets sick and the doctor tells Dubeyji that they need to do the bone marrow transplant soon. He remembers that Aarti asked Shobha to keep the kids and so he gets the idea of getting Ansh to donate without Yash and Aarti's permission and Shobha's knowledge since they have not discussed it. Shobha is lost trying to figure out what to tall Ansh when he asks about Prashant only for both of them to come back. Prashant lies saying that he is a paying guest and when Ansh keeps begging him to play, Dubeyji yells at him for being stubborn. Ansh looked like he was shocked and so Prashant start to play with him. All of a sudden, Dubeyji just scoops him up in his arms and starts walking out the door with Prashant and Shobha following. He puts Ansh in an auto and is about to sit when Prashant stops him and takes Ansh away. Aarti then faces him walking away with Ansh in his arms and is about to slap him when Shobha stops her.

As an aside, Prashant calls Dubeyji bauji forgetting that Palak and Payal are around and could accidentally mention it at the Scindia's. Also I didn't really like Shobha totally forgetting them and running off behind Dubeyji, Ansh and Prashant.

@Deepti: Good points...all. 👏I too had a somewhat "What the" reaction to Yash's uncharacteristic oration.

Just finished watching the episode, and I have got to say that I am now officially terrified for Aarti! Every dialogue today, whether it be by Pankaj, Yash or SP paints a picture that will be completely against her when the divorce truth comes out! Plus the one saving grace Paridhi had was that Prateek knew that she was working, he was in on that secret! But in Aarti's case, Yash has been kept in the dark along with the family and after all the talk about trust and faith today, this is going to shaken the very foundation of the AarYa relationship and who knows how Yash will react then!

Plus, Aarti gave up her last saving grace today by using SP birthday present promise to help Paridhi! Now who is going to be on her side when her world crashes and burn, who is going to take a stand for her in front of SP because from today it was clear that Yash is the only one in the family who has the backbone to question SP and his decisions, the other two are terrified of going against him (at least vocally). But considering how huge of a shock this will be to Yash as well, will he be able to pull himself together long enough to defend his wife in front of the family? In his opinion will Aarti even be deserving of that? It's very obvious that Yash impeccably trusts Aarti in every way, so this is going to be a disastrous blow to him especially because this has been something that has been kept hidden from him from day one! Aarti has had more than enough chances to come clean in front of him, but she faltered every time! And now this storm is threatening to completely uproot her life as it is!

And I am honestly not sure how forgiving SP will be because he is a man who is steadfast on his principles, and I don't know how he'll take Aarti's betrayal and deceit so close after Paridhi's lie, especially because he holds Aarti in such a high regard! His trust and faith in her is going to brutally be broken as well, and that is something I am dreading more than Yash's anger to be honest! And this is not going to remain hidden for much longer, the Prashant angle is reaching it's boiling point know and it's already started to spill over in Aarti's life! It won't be much longer until she has no choice but to bear the brunt of her deceit that she was forced to become a part of, but willingly decided to go along with later!

Side notes:

-Pankaj was absolutely fantastic today! He and Vidhi need more screen time both as a couple and individually! He was spot on today with everything he said and his expressions and voice modulation were perfect with his anger!

-Did not like the endless bhashans courtesy of Yash and Aarti today, I don't think anyone was spared of them today! I have never been a fan of long, sentimental lectures, so yeah kind of wish they weren't stretched so much! And it especially irked me because it seemed like Aarti had once again completely forgotten about the fact that she is hiding her divorce truth from the family! She went on and on about the importance of rishtey and vishwaas and all I could thing about was how it was all going to come and bit her hard soon enough!

-Aarti looked BEAUTIFUL today! Both the saris were gorgeous and I loved the hairstyle today! But Gurmeet needs to shave, his stubble is getting way too dark!
