exactly Nishii...i always think of u or Anji when ever I chance upon the LU- and I am amzed hw u both can have any sane views after reading that - 😆 hats off to u guys...

I read comments there - i am not watching till this shit comes to an end etc etc...abhi yeh baatein to normal posts pe bhi ho sakte hain - y need a LU opened by mods, made stickies other wise???

Completely agree with you. Not only just LU update thread..It is gone after an 1 hour from sticky.. But for a person comes in later to read a review or analysis of the episode, all we see is character bashing.. there is so much negativity in this forum.. The episodes are much better than what is portrayed in this forum though I am not saying the whole execution of this track is great..

There is even a basher's thread.. I mean why are Mods allowing this?

But I have decided I am not going to read these hyperactive or hypersensitive forum member's reviews anymore or keep away from forum for few days.. the whole joy of watching the show is ruined..

I myself is a live updater. But i dont think there is too much bashing in the thread. Somepeople r expresding their view regarding epi. Rarely it becomes bashing.
It is not just live update thread. It is also labelled as epi discussion thread. So we cant blame people doing that.

that is because we all have become big critics. starting from leads, their personal life, character sketch,screenplay, sound,light ,editing , post production...we have become master of all.

so we have to keep on bashing them if its not suiting our fancies...

!00% agree. Now adays its all about bashing the character or even the real person playing the character.. this is no longer about the show

i cannot comment on how it was earlier

but then many a time i have had people tell me that LU said this

and that

and they totally miss the serial perspective

and get the commentors perspective

by the way i know i did not bash

i was commenting on shit all

that is all

but then nowadays defenition of bashing has also gone for a toss

Very true!! Well said!

Many a times, I feel these have opinions and comments rather than an update on what happened on screen. It takes a lot to get to prune out the opinions and comments to get to the facts.

I don't read WU, but many a time, catch on the LU; The thing is, it sets a tone even before one watches the episodes.. All the topics of the day in the forum revolves around the tone set by the LU, rather than discussing the episode..

There were days when I avoided, LU completely, and watched the episode directly.. These days, I have learnt the trick to filter out the facts...

It would be certainly nice if the updates were weaned out of any opinions and comments and they were just facts listed out there..

Hey friends,

We are having both, LU and WU in this forum. The whole purpose of the LU is to discuss and talk while the live updates are being given because many of the members are living outside India or at work so due to the different timezone, they want the live updates. I have personally not read any of the LU discussion threads so I cannot comment about it at the moment until I goes through that.

However, I do agree that the LU should be neutral and the updater can give her or his own personal comment in bracket as long as its constructive criticism.

Thanks for bringing it up for our attention. We will look into it and make sure there is no bashing going on if its indeed true.
