Yes Deepika and nandini di are right, Abhijeet and Daya have same ranks but Abhijeet is senior as he is second in command.

Absolutely right...though ABhijeet and Daya are senior inspectors...ABHI is 2nd in ranking as he tekes the command in ACP'S ABSENCE

Whose comparing but even Sony website says abhijeet is second in command . Even on same rank people can be senior and junior based on length of service

In CID SB, Ajatshatru was an ACP but junior to ACP Pradyuman
