He stared at her incredulously. Then he crossed the vacant space amidst them, hauling her into his arms. His arms caged her into the omnipotence of his arms.
"And what about us?" Armaan stared at her with the lurking of a fierce possession.
"You shouldn't hold me like this." She looked up in his deep blue eyes. Karan had the deepest colour of black. His eyes were the colour of coal. Emotionless. Armaan's eyes were the mirror of his emotions, intense, beautiful, painful, but Karan's. His eyes were the curtains to the darkness inside. His eyes were opaque, blacker than anything she had ever seen. Nothing about Armaan reminded her of Karan except his face, the countenance that no longer mattered. Karan's scent was different, his eyes, his hands, his words, his aura, everything was different. Yet she couldn't help but compare the two. What was happening to her? She had finally begun feeling something for him, something she couldn't name.
Why was she incapable of accepting the fact that Armaan was back. He was alive. Living bone and flesh. Why couldn't she rejoice? Why was her heart aching as if its tearing apart was inevitability?
"Armaan. I I am married. Karan is my husband now." Her lips stuttered as if surfacing the turmoil coiling in her heart.
"Look at me." He hauled her tighter against him. His grip tightened on her arms. His eyes blazed into hers. "You were and are mine. WE LOVE EACH OTHER GOD DAMNIT."
YES YES YES! She loved Armaan. Didn't she? She was madly and irrevocably in love with him. She went dead when she thought him dead. NO HE WAS ALIVE! HERE! Here just a mere inch away. All she had to do was reach out and touch the silky silhouettes of his face. Feel the mint of his breathe. Touch the contours of his skin.
Just reach and-
"NO" she pulled back with a sheer ferocity.
"Yo'you and me. Me We can.. can't we.. NO ARMAAN." Her breathes jammed against her lungs in an indecent puddle. She heaved, breathless. Her nose went red in an effort to stop the tears back.
He cursed under his breath and pulled her back in his arms.
"Why are you doing this to both of us? WHY THE HELL ARE YOU DOING THIS? He is a monster Shilpa. My Brother. He. HE TRIED KILLING ME FOR GOD'S SAKE. Whats wrong with you? You don't love him, you love me. Come back to me."
"Armaan." She intook a sharp breathe and prepared to say the most difficult truth of her life.
"The truth is he needs me. HE NEEDS ME ARMAAN. He needs me more than you ever did. I can't leave him like that. I am his wife. Please."
"He needs no one. HE IS A GOD DAMN MONSTER, AND I AM TRYING TO SAVE YOU BLOODY f**kING HELL."
"I am sorry Armaan. I love." She stopped. What was she about to say? I love you? Then why couldn't she?
"I have to go. NOW." She clipped whatever he was about to say, and ran away before he could've stopped her.
She made her way into the house. Her breath was caught in her throat when the lights came spreading into the hall. His back was towards her. Clad in a black jeans and black coat, his hair tied back in a short pony.
"Karan." She stared at his back, frozen at her place. "I. I thought you were out."
His fingers reached the glass as he poured himself a drink.
His lips lifted in a smirk, his eyes moving down to the glass with a glittering pace.
"I. You are drinking again?"
"Karan." Her voice reverberated through the hall coming to dead halts; the hall returning back to its sinuous serenity after each sentence.
"How is Armaan?" Shivers coaxed apart her body filling in huge gulps. His voice ran against her like the sharp metal of a knife. Sensuously killing.
"Ar.Armaan?" she stammered.
His fingers gripped the glass more tightly bringing it to his lips. He pushed back from the bar, facing her. A slow smile embraced the tight curve of his face. His eyes froze on hers in an implacable hold.
"How can you forget him so soon? You just met your long time love." He paused then stared at the glass, sipping in very carefully, languidly slow, his eyes never moving away from her. "Even.After.I.Told.You.NOT.TO." His mouth curved in a displeased gesture, the glass smashing into the door right next to her, making her almost shriek.
"Did I not Shilpa?" he smiled. The smile of a predator.
"Karan, Listen to me."
"No Mrs. Karan Malik, I want you to listen." His hands rested on the counter, his eyes tearing through hers.
"I can kill him in a heartbeat." Silence acquired the whole hall. She knew. She knew he could. Damn easily.
"I didn't go to meet him, I just-
He clipped.
"Don't. Don't you dare take his name. I have no interest in knowing, what MY.WIFE.WAS.DOING.WITH.HER.EX.LOVER." he moved. His mouth firmly tensed.
"Enough Karan. JUST STOP." Her furious cry filled the space between them. Tension coiled like piling waves. Intense and powerful.
"Not bad. Just a meeting and you are already whining to protect your pathetic lover?"
Don't ever anger him Shilpa
The voice echoed in her ears.
"Karan I know I lied to you. I-
"How bad is that?" He mocked her. His voice was low, cool, laced with a shuttering menace.
You can bring him out of the darkness he lives in. Please DO IT!
"You know what? JUST FORGET IT. I went to meet him. AND I HAVE NO REGRETS."
She stared at him with a bubbling anger now.
She made her way to pass him, but the smashing of the glass window stopped her right in her tracks.
His hand was pierced with the glass pieces. The blood flowing across the smooth skin like tributaries all across the place. She moved to hold him, but his hand gripped her arm, the glass cutting against her own skin. She was hauled against the hall, and slammed against the door. His other hand came and pressed against the door locking her between his body and the door.
His eyes were a combination of red and black. He wasn't even an inch away. He wasn't Armaan. She could feel his hand digging in her arm, the glass piercing through her own flesh's layers, pressing against his hand deeper, cutting him and cutting her.
He is going to destroy everything if you don't stop him. Only you can.
"Maybe I'm going to give you the privilege of eyeing his mutilated corpse before I dispose him off." He didn't smile. His face was rigid, grasped by the fury meant to destroy everything.
"You won't. Please." She looked back into his eyes.
"Are you begging for your lover?" He moved in closer. His nose brushed against hers. Their breathes collided rushing through them. Her legs went weak. His eyes were the most dangerous set of eyes she had ever encountered in her life. Their intensity was burning her, and yet they were so fascinatingly powerful. She couldn't pull away. She was scared. A scary fascination coursing through her veins was making her head dizzy.
Had she known why she couldn't tell Armaan she loved him when she should've had? The reason was there. The reason was this man.
It was there. In him. He cared for no one, none. No being, no one but her. He cared for her in a very different way, in a very different meaning. The world wouldn't ever understand. The world won't ever be able to comprehend him, what went through him. It was something that only existed amidst them, which was only understood by them.
There was a difference between him and Armaan. Armaan would give away his life for her, he did that for her. But Karan, he would take anyone's life for her. Without any regret, without any remorse, in a flicker, the blink of an eye, even Armaan's.
"No. I'm just asking you not to kill him, just like I would ask you to not kill anyone else. Can you not do this one little thing for me? I'll give you anything you want in return."
"Why Shilpa? You think you are in any position of proposing a deal to me?" his face leaned closer.
"You are hurting me Karan." She closed her eyes, feeling the glass cutting through her skin deeper.
"I want to." He didn't retreat; the pressure at her arm didn't lessen. He was in pain, he was making her feel a part of his pain, and she knew it.
"There is nothing between me and Armaan anymore. I swear. I did go to him, it was to tell him that I I can't be with him anymore. I am your wife, and and this cannot be undone." Her lids fluttered, her gaze averted, then her eyes locked back into his.
"Prove. It." he didn't move. Didn't breathe.
"How?" her voice fell back into a husky whisper.
"Sleep with me."
"Karan." Her heart stopped, her mind whirling. She couldn't do it.
His lips curled into a predatory smile.
"Why Shilpa suddenly your heart is bubbling with feelings? I want you to know something. Armaan Malik is a mere piece of crap between me and my wife, a mere obstacle I would remove like breaking a leaf from the tree. Violence or not, is your decission."
Is there anyone interested in reading ArSh(Armaan-Shipa) ff, it's such a old show that I'm not sure if there any fans left in this forum.
