Aisha.. great post.. but you know I don't agree with some of your points, in fact most of them.

Khushi is not insecure of Arnav's love for her; he has assured her numerous times that she is his world and unlike the forum Khushi does not need daily reminders of his love.
She is insecure because she thinks Arav is his son and thinks that can impact her perfect world. As for Arnav putting her insecurities to rest he has no clue she is connecting Arav to him; he feels she is uncomfortable around Sheetal and has told her that she was his past and does not currently matter.
If Arnav is to be blamed for bringing up the nut allergy and a few eyelocks needed to create a MU then Khushi is equally to blame for just standing still and letting Shyam hug her forever that led Arnav to MU.
Khushi kept the gift wrapper from a gift from Shyam long after she knew his true colors; that does not mean she loved him.
The CV's are creating dialogues and situations to keep up the suspense and make the audience react; if after everything ARHI have been through and done for each other some people question their love over such trivial issues, i guess you have been watching another show than i have...

Amazing points. Really needed to read a sensible post after reading such OTT and ridiculous posts about Arnav not caring about Khushi etc. Thank you

But he does not have the slightest idea that Khushi is worried about Araav being Arnav's child and not Sheetal.But is it entirely his fault?Arnav even after seeing so much similarities between him and Araav does not get suspicious about Araav being hi child.This thought is no where in his mind.Then how can he know that Khushi is having such a thought.

Well that is another question I had.. everyone in the whole world can make out that that kid is behaving exactly like him. Ok, maybe he doesn't doubt that kid is his.. but wouldn't he be surprised that the kid is just like him.. and everyone is passing comments about their similarity in front of him. He is a businessman, someone who studied from Harvard.. you don't need to even have a telepathic connection to understand that.. but then again who am I kidding.. it's selective brains all over again! And yes, I brought up the telepathic connection. This is my problem. The way I see these two, they are a larger-than-life couple. Their love is beyond anyone's, right? They could talk to each other telepathically, yet now their love isn't even as good as a normal married couple's! In fact, it's worse than people who have been married for years. Certain married people might not be romantic after 40-50 years of togetherness... because they understand each other so well! Here like you yourself pointed out, he doesn't understand why she is worried. Yes, I know you are blaming Khushi here. It is her responsibility to tell him. But wait, this is the girl who smiled after he accused her of being characterless!

Arnav is very insensitive towards Khushi's feelings.
I won't say he is insensitive but the term clueless will be appropriate.
Both Arnav and Khushi are always clueless about each others feelings.

It is very visible from Khushi's face that she is worried.
Even Arnav knows that.
But most of the time Khushi gets worried at minor issues.

So? Minor issues aren't worries. Wow! I am just like Khushi.. in that aspect. I worry about what dress to wear more than my future! 😆 But then my fiance does step in and help me out. He says I am crazy, he says I am silly.. but I love it when he says that.. 'coz even when he says that, he takes the time to make sure I am fine. That reassuring hug from Arnav wasn't enough, she was still worried.. he just assumed that she was fine, so that they could go back to bed.

She did not take any offense when Arnav called her characterless.
But she was very angry when Arnav did not wish her in her birthday.
So it is quite difficult for Arnav to find out what is making her tensed.

Difficult to find out? Aah.. let's remember what Khushi did when Arnav never revealed his worry. She kept asking him. She kept asking him. She tried to annoy him so that he would say it out. Arnav isn't trying hard. And when she did find out what the reason was, she was begging.. nearly begging at his feet to believe her.. and still he didn't. And now she is expected to believe if he says something. OF course if he believes something, then so should everyone right. That is the way I have seen Arnav's attitude for a while.. especially after the kidnapping.. that's why he never bothered to defend Khushi in front of everyone by actually telling everyone the truth and clearing her name. The way I saw it, if I know the truth.. then that's enough right. True, even Khushi didn't care.. she herself said it matters to me because it's you who doubts me. If it was someone else, it wouldn't have mattered!

Arnav is lost in Sheetal.

I never ever ever said that Arnav loves Sheetal. He is taking Khushi for granted and not treating her like a woman he is madly in love with in front of his ex. Instead he is showing concern about his ex, especially when he knows his wife is upset about his past!

But why are you forgetting that he could have easily hide his relationship with Sheetal.
If he still had feelings for Sheetal he would have never admitted that he was in a relationship with Sheetal to khushi.

You don't get the point we were trying to make. Arnav doesn't want to have a relationship with Sheetal. The way he is acting, what I see is.. he still has feelings towards her, maybe just as a good friend, but the point is he should keep those inside, because his priority should be Khushi's concern. She is standing right there, seeing him and Sheetal together. If he was concerned about her, he should go stand next to Khushi, hold her hand or put an arm around her, make a point in front of Sheetal that Khushi is his wife, no, not by just saying it. He has been treating her like a maid in front of her. I never see him flirt with Khushi in front of Sheetal. Not even a wink .. nothing. In front of Sheetal, Arnav doesn't show any affection towards Sheetal. The oil massage, at least to humor Khushi in front of Sheetal, he should have agreed and taken her to their room and then said, Khushi I didn't want to say no. But of course Arnav doesn't care right.. he thinks these things are silly! Typical husband.. take your wife for granted.. where is the larger than life love .. died after marriage?

and he said to NK,"Everybody in the college knew about Sheetal Kapoor's nut allergy."
It means that it was a big issue in the college at that time and maybe they used to tease Sheetal about it.
Arnav was remembering about that time not only Sheetal.

I had no problem with him stopping Khushi... but the whole dialogue that CVs added just so that Khushi would find out her last name.. was really unnecessary. It just showed how Arnav dreamily talked about his college times.. and about the time he and Sheetal used to hang out! Wait, if he was like that then.. then when did he become ASR? After he met Lavanya?? I would have expected that he changed immediately after the incident!

Arnav is exchanging romantic eye locks with Sheetal.
He looked at Sheetal.But there was no romance,no pssion and no desire.He looks at Anjali with much more passion than he looked at Sheetal.

Agreed. It wasn't a romantic eye lock. But it was an eye lock, nevertheless. Never ever ever eyelock with your ex, not in front of your wife.. especially not when talking about love, relationships or marriage. I saw concern .. I saw something unsaid passing between their eyes.. maybe it wasn't Arnav's fault. Sheetal looked at him, then he could have raised his eyebrows.. confused.. why is she looking at me. But no, he understood.. he was concerned that she was upset. Wait, but just a few minutes ago you said he doesn't understand that Khushi was worried.

Arnav bitches about Khushi with Aarav.
Araav is a kid.
Arnav was having a fun time with him.
And Arnav did not bad mouth Khushi.
He loves Khushi's craziness,madness and filmy dramas.
There was a constant smile in his face while talking with Araav.It is not that he was discussing with Araav how to get rid of Khushi.

I couldn't bear to watch that scene. So I didn't even bother. So I have no clue, but from what I read.. that was wrongly executed too!

Arnav has no interest on Khushi.

He made Jalebis for her just to pacify her.
He bowed down his head in front of her.
He wanted to take her to Derby just after the day Shyam was exposed.
He wanted Khushi to wish him even though he never liked to be wished.

I agree. But like I said, where is the jalebi now. Where is the bowing head. where is the derby, where is the movie? Where is all that now when she is worried?

He did not react that much even after knowing Khushi did a DNA test.It is a criminal offense to perform a DNA test without the permission of the person under consideration.

Yes once Arnav did enough torture to Khushi.And I have bashed for that.But right now I see a man who loves his wife very much.So I am unable to understand why he is termed as jerk.Why people wants Khushi to leave him and marry NK.

Well.. lol.. maybe that's why they made NK also an idiot now. That's why he sees nothing but Sheetal now. Once upon a time, he used to understand Khushi's pain. Sheetal has put magic over everyone that no one sees Khushi's pain anymore!

I see Arnav taking Khushi for granted, not bothering to cheer her up, not taking an attempt to convince her that she is more important to him by being loving especially in front of Sheetal

I never siad Khushi is right. She is a moron too now.. where is the feisty girl at the guest house.. the one who threw the resignation letter in his face.. the one who used to challenge him.. Both of their characters have been butchered beyond repair ..
