When Balaji Telfilms' Parichay on Colors took a leap in August this year (2012), it marked the entry of a few new characters. However… two established characters of the show haven't made a comeback yet.
Yes, we are talking about Vikram (Deepak Sandhu) and Raveena (Prerna Wanvari). Before the leap, the duo had a strong track, but post the leap, they just went missing.
Here we get you some dope of where these actors are these days and if their comeback in Parichay will happen in the near future or not.
Well…Deepak is in his hometown Haryana with his family. He will begin shooting for his first Punjabi film in the second week of November. "Yes, I am part of a Punjabi movie called Jugadi Boys. It is a story of three boys whose lives depend on them making money every day. I play one of these boys." When asked about his comeback in Parichay, he said, "I have been out of the town for quite some time, so contacting me must have been impossible. Even if the creatives want us (referring to Prerna) back, we won't be able to. But yes, I will be back in the show very soon," informed Deepak.
On the other hand, Prerna is busy rehearsing for her upcoming play The Pregnant King. Talking about it, she revealed, "This play is an adaptation of the book The Pregnant King written by Devdutt Pattanaik. I play the King's first wife. Currently, we are preparing for the competition that is being held at Prithvi Theatre for actors under the age group of 25. Apart from the competition, the play is scheduled to go on stage in January 2013." This play is being directed by Kritika Chawla." When asked about her comeback in Parichay, she said, "I have no clue about our track."
However a source told us, "The production house is busy working on Vikram and Raveena's track. In fact, they are planning to get a surrogacy track in which they will see the couple looking out for surrogate mother. For this, they have approachedAasiya Kazi and Sargun Mehta."
When we got in touch with Aasiya, she said, "Yes, the production house did call me. However, nothing has been finalised yet. I am busy shooting for Hitler Didi." On the other hand, Sargun said, "Yes, I did receive a call from the production house, but they did not get back to me after that. Hence, I cannot comment on it."
Well, we wonder if this on-screen couple will come back in the show with somemirch-masala.
