Let all accept that TVS made a fundamental error of judgement when he allowed his fear rule his actions. He should have told Sugni when Reva returned and let Sugni make the decision about their future.
We have been shown through a number of conversations between Jiji and TVS, Dhanuma and G and even TVS and Reva with Jiji and her brother standing there that the TVS Reva marriage was not a happy one. He himself says he stuck it out because he considered it his fate.
When he thought she was dead he moved on. It happens.
Today TVS has made it clear that he truly loves Sugni and nothing on earth will change that fact. Reva can now see that Sugni truly loves TVS just as much.
So if she loves/cares about her husband why does she not want him to be happy. Why does she not think I will give him his divorce provided he secures my future because I love him and want him to be happy even if that is not with me. Is that not what a loving wife would do?
Everyone is asking Sugni and TVS to scarifice their love but why no sacrifice is requried from Reva?
Everyone is saying she is trying to save her marriage - lets take a step back - What marriage? If she or anyone thinks that once Sugni disappears/marries Adi, TVS will go back to her and resume their marriage they are seriously mistaken.
This marriage has been in name only since her return and will only ever be in name only. He does not love her, does not want to be with her, does not want her anywhere near him and probably resents her.
So what kind marriage is she saving - one where she has the title of being his wife but nothing more, no love, no childern. Is a title worth scarificing having happiness and family.
Reva comes from a thakur family and is highly educated. In modern India in citites like Delhi (where Reva comes from) divorce and remarriage are accepted so there is nothing to stop her finding someone who loves her, wants to be with her, build a future with her rather than being stuck in a loveless marriage and becoming bitter and resentful.
This is just my opinion - No offence intended
