Well...this question has been bugging me for quite some time now...I saw many forum members say that the epic SaRun chemistry has indeed fizzled out..and there is no charm left...😕

I really thought about the matter..and reached the conclusion..Chemistry can never fizzle out..You either have a sizzling chemistry between you or you don't...If we take Leo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet for example...We all are aware how these two left the audience stunned back in 1998 with their mindblowing chemistry in Titanic...Cinema goers...all over the world fell in love with the iconic couple...😳

10 years later...Leo and Kate...best friends off screen..starred in another film...a totally different genre.."Revolutionary Road"..It was a romantic drama..and the subject was total 180 of Titanic...Yet the couple exuded the same charm..the same beauty as they did in Titanic...👏

Now..if we realize what the meaning of "chemistry" is..all of us will agree..that it is very much there between SaRun.Chemistry between two people is not confined within doing some real hot scenes together..In fact..that's a very narrow definition of chemistry.The word "chemistry" has a wider meaning...Sarun...has a very natural chemistry...one that makes you think they are a real life couple(Please don't take this personally)..and the one that gets better every day...Whatever might be the reason...even the most mundane conversations are transformed into some memorable ones..Just by the flawlessness of their chemistry.In spite of shoddy direction...poor technicalities...rumors floating around...this one part of IPK has always stayed clean and absolutely delightful...since the very beginning...😛

Now what makes us all think that the passion has died down between ArHi??

Well..lemme give an example...the tuesday episode...we were shown Arnav and Khushi were sleeping with a pillow between them...and most of us found it pretty strange...reasons known to all😉

The same scene would have attained another dimension...if Arnav was shown holding Khushi's hands...Or Khushi...was shown to be clutching his collars...that'd have been a lot more meaningful...

Again..it was shown..Arnav woke up suddenly and found Khushi isn't beside him...Had he been shown looking for Khushi in his sleep and then suddenly startled and surprised by the fact that she is not there beside him...that would again have been a beautiful scene..Minute...but such minuscule details add beauty to a scene..

So the crux of the story is execution.It's too shoddy...It has always been an issue with the team..Also for the life of me..I cannot understand what exactly is stopping the writers from penning down a few passionate scenes between the couple!!😕😕I'm struck catatonic by the unrealistic approach of the makers in dealing with this particular track...And that's the main reason..why the track...in spite of its many possibilities..is not able to strike a chord with the viewers!!

PS:Would love to know your thoughts on the matter..Please feel free to leave a comment or two..But refrain from bashing any actor...It's a request!!Keep the discussions healthy!😊

For me chemistry evolved between arshi because of the script writers.

I dont blame LM, SARUN completely.

Reason- when the show was launched the pair 's chemistry was not ready made.

It was always well written scripted story line that won accolades and made the pair and show larger than life.

My only point why the chemistry is missing

Writers Block. It is the scenes that can create goosebumps moments. Not just standing in one frame wont make it sizzling chemistry.

Getting them married so soon spoiled the show.

Bceause after being shown married, the marital track has lost the intensity. ( the present track is no answer to that please)

Audiences wanted to see the tom and jerry cat-mouse fight plus love romance for continously two years atleast, without marital track.

romance of married couples could be seen in other shows also.But there was no point making IPK follow the path of other soap operas. Arshi without getting married flews so sparks that it didnt matter audience.For me audience was enjoying that phase.

SCRIPTING BLUNDERS DAMAGED ALL FOR ME.

t chem b/w them will never fizzle out ..people r saying bcouse they r not showing ny romantic scene b/w the couples ...y cant we just wait 4 t track 2 unfold...yest scene was cute & sarun potrayed it so well...

SaRun have given a new definition to chemistry on Indian TV. IMO very few co-actors establish this kind of a rapport between them be it in films or television. Chemistry established once can never fizzle out. It is the treatment and execution that has changed!
People are comparing the equation between the characters in the beginning of the series to their equation now in gauging chemistry between the lead actors! That would be a one-dimensional view. Then it was about the conflict in their relationship and now it is about the togetherness...so the treatment would be different of-course. Script, direction and execution are major factors that give a new dimension to the scenes and make them a visual treat along with acting and chemistry between the leads; which was evident in the early days of the show. Blaming the chemistry between the actors for bad execution isn't right😊 Even now IPK gives us some wonderful scenes where the actors excel, like yesterday's pool-side scene was brilliant according to me. But that's where it ends, few scenes!! The overall loose handling does make the show look lack-luster which some end up blaming the chemistry for.
