This serial please forgive my words need to be given a PG-13 rating if the upcoming track of Ovi-Purvi getting pregnant is really true not to mention all the transparent sarees.
I will not be surprised if Arjun/Ovi /Punni and Purvi now come on the Jerry Springer show with pictures of their children asking "Who is my child's Daddy?
Jokes apart, what is this serial really trying to show or teach to the masses!! What impression does it really create of the middle class India in the minds of the people around the globe…(Believe me…..this is the age of technology and all channels are available anywhere and everywhere!!)
So far this serial has depicted blackmailing to get someone you want, kidnapping, lies, divorce, separation and not to mention suicide.
It has repeatedly shown that it is difficult for a highly educated middle class person (man/woman) to find a job on their own unless their rich parents or boyfriend are standing behind them.
It has shown that blackmailing is conveniently forgotten and suicide is glorified to get what one wants.
It has shown intense sacrifice bordering towards annoying taken up by a 20 year orphan girl who by the way keeps on wearing the same tattered dresses when her sister and mother get all the beautiful clothes.
I can go on and on but is this really the idea of entertainment and if it is who is it aimed for?
Looking at the TRP's it does feel like there are people out there watching this serial everyday so maybe whatever I say above is accepted in society.
Ekta mata you are really confused and you need to get a good life…
Or maybe I am confused…How many children is Arjun really having?
