Nice post. I havent read other people comments so will give my opinion only. Yes agree with you that khushi is still childish when it comes to her handling of matters with arnav.

But remember that this show has been created with guys point of view ( as stated by gul in one of her interviews) so i dont think cvs will put much effort in enhancing khushis character. Hence the pagalpan that we see.

But yes it surely is very irritating. Especially the dialog that she has changed a lot for him...

I know that you're posing the debate from a character pov, but I will be slightly tangenting here if you would take a listen.

IPK is essentially centered around Arnav, his life, his past etc. He is the central character.

Therefore the story has always been about the character growth of him.

Khushi on the other hand is merely part of the puzzle who brings about changes in his life.

The story was never to show grand gestures from Khushi's end simply because she is a supporting character.

They never showed Khushi's past for her to breakdown, Khushi doesn't have a self distructive sister, Khushi doesn't have any past lovers.

Naturally her pain and her love has taken a back seat. Because she is portrayed as being merely an asset to ASRs life. Never an idividual character.

The answer to your question is simply - This was , is and will always be Arnav Singh Raizada's story irrelevant of whether we like it or not.

I see the entire scenario this way -----


Arnav and Khushi are soul-mates joined at root level.

They are one at a level deeper than the depth what we can fathom...

But both of them were nurtured at different seasons by the nature ...

Khushi is an etrnal child of spring - flowers, colours and dancing buds ...

Arnav was visited by thawing winter and treacherous thunderstorms ...


Khushi has learnt to withstand storms in her sweet way and she did ...

Arnav has learnt to face the harsh seasons in his own rugged way and he did ...

Now as they join their arms to embrace the sweet worldy life , there will be small winds , shaking them sometimes , but they will sail through as they are joined by the deep roots...

Khushi definately has inhibitions - possibly she is shy-embarrassed - who knows but I am sure once she has been shown the path that she will open up???
