I am rather flummoxed as to why there is even a debate about ASR's virginity? Really? In this day and age when this man apparently went to Harvard which is in the States. Needless to emphasise the fact he has always been very proud of the fact in not believing in love nor the sanctity of marriage. However extremely progressive, in live in relationships minus the culmination of a marraige. So does this explain my baffled state of mind as to why there is such a hoo ha about his virginity.
Isn't this an archaic belief and practice? Or am I still on an alternate planet where nothing seems to make much sense? Please do enlighten me if you can

Well, first of all, living in the states and/or going to Harvard is NOT a stamp that proves someone isn't a virgin. There are many people who choose to wait, and NO, it is definitely NOT an archaic practice. Depending on religion, cultural values, some people DO end up waiting for their marriage. and YES, it does happen today as well. Just because someone waits doesn't mean they follow an archaic practice.
Now going onto Arnav, it really is up to the person whether or not they want him to be. After all, this show is fiction and viewers are at free will to choose a certain perspective on a situation and justify it with whatever justification they wish to use. Now, what I'm seriously baffled about, is how no one can just respect other people's opinions. Some people think he was, some people think he wasn't. At the end of the day, just respect everyone's opinion and just move on with life.

I am merely picking up from his character portrayal of IPK plus he is a man. Men still rule irrespective of where they reside. One rule for them and one rule for the females and that is a given. As for my little scribble I have a tendency to pontificate. As you so succinctly put it its a fiction and this Forum is all about thoughts, provocations and most of all free thinking and free expression so your last line really makes me think your heckles are raised. One word...FICTION!

Hi Ainee!Long time no see!But that is my fault completly.I preferred to utilize my quality time in reading good Arhi fan fiction rather than discussing sub standard track being presented!
For me ASR not being a virgin suits his personality instead of being a virgin.In any case how do explain a man is virgin when he wanted a live in relationship with Lavanya?Can u expect a business tycoon head of fashion house to b a virgin?

Indeed its been a long time. How are you? I don't blame you for concentrating on FFs. There are some brilliant writers on this IF.

My point exactly I was merely asking the question based on his character of ASR in IPK

The man had a live in relationship. He must have been a monk!

Cant say i am fine.Treating patients with infections has left me unwell.had 2 attacks of respiratory infections in 1 month plus ward duty on Eid plus an unenjoyable track has me fuming and breathing fire.
According to me CVs should give a happy ending so that we can live wid gud IPK memories.

People wanna see ASR as a saint...his character traits always are contrary to him being one...

The revelation of his GF's too point out about his colorful past...

I dont know why there is even a discussion on it...Made a post but yet to find answers...

I know and now we are heading for a convuluted storyline second guessing if ASR has fathered a child. Ho hum!
