It's been a week after geet's exams n she was happy as she gave them very well..Maan was all the while supportive to her in every way.He kept her happy as much as he can but the guilt for hiding his truth is eating him inside.Everytime he thought to tell the truth but something or the other stopped him.He was the one who got ready to bear her hatred once she knows the truth but now he began to feel that he cant even stay a sec without her n couldnt take her hatred at any cost.

It is the day before the party for geet's success in exams.she came out with good results n now she is Dr.Geet.she is very happy for having everything in her life now.she is a doctor as per her bro's wish n she have her Maan with her.she didnt want anythng more than that.

She is busy in choosing her attire for party when Maan entered her room with a smile.He saw that she is confused thnkng smethng.He chuckled looking at her making faces.

Finally Geet selected white salwar suit which is maan's favourite.sShe blushed imagining herself in that dress.

'thinking about me?hmm'Maan said huskily in her ear hugging her from back.Geet was startled first but then smiled at him.

'nai toh..waise bhi i have many things to think about'she said to tease him.

'oh accha'maan said raising his eyebrows.she giggled n hugged him tight.

'where were u since morning?i was missing u'she said pouting her lips.

Maan smiled n said..'sorry jaan office mein busy tha'.they stood in the same position while maan's mobile rang.

Maan came out in the balcony of her room to receive the call.It was dev's call n whatever he said shocked maan.

'dev u do onethng book the tickets for both of us.we r gng there now!i'l reach the airport directly'n he disconnected the call.He smiled widely n came to Geet who was busy in complaining to her babaji..He smiled n sat beside her..

Geet wo..he started with so much of excitement but stopped thinking'no!i need to make sure first'

geet i need to go now hav sme imp work..he kissed on her forehead n turned to leave but stopped again.

"geet do u have any pic of ur family.i mean u ur bro n ur daadi??"

"ha but why??"she asked confused but gave it to him when he said that he asked casually.

Next morning,geet was sipping her coffee while reading the newspaper..suddenly her gaze caught the main headline "THE BEST BUSSINESSMAN OF THE YEAR -MAAN SINGH KHURANA"

Her eyes gleamed in happiness.she almost jumped on bed like a baby.she grabbed her mobile to wish him.

No not like this..mein khud jaakar surprise doogi..hai na she thought n quickly got ready in pink salwar suit.

She reached KM n ran directly to towards maan's room.when geet was about to enter his room dadi called her.."Are Geet bete aap yaha?"

"ji dadima wo maan.."she paused while blushing when dadi smiled at her teasingly..

"koi nai beta.."she said smiling at her.."but your maan is not here..wo toh london gaye huye hai"

what? Geet askd cnfused n shocked

"ha beta i guess he had sme imp work..."

oh!geet made sad face..

"arey beta don worry he'l be back till evening"she patted her cheek n left the place.

Geet:ye maan bhi na ek phone nai kar sakthe the kya?aane do unhe..huh!

She kept blabbering with her babaji sitting On bed in maan's room..she then saw that maan's shirts r lyng on bed.she shook her head knowing him very well.She kept back the shifts in cupboard n abt to close it bt stopped when a box along with few files fell down from cupboard.

Geet: ofoo ye maan bhi na medicines aur files bhi cupboard mein rak diya..

She was confused to see many medicine strips in that box n she checked them out of her curiosity as a doctor.She was shocked to see medicines used by cancer patients but why maan have them with him was her question..she slowly got up picking the files lost in her confusion n soon her gaze fell on envelope which seemed like a hospital report..Her heart started beating fast in fear when she found patient's name as maan!an unknown fear engulfed her.she took out the report to know what is there in that.

Haww she gasped with wideeyes closing her mouth when she found that maan is suffering from cancer!she dropped down everythng in her hand n walked back in shock till her back hit the cupboard..

The word CANCER n patient's name MAAN SINGH KHURANA,and the result of test is POSITIVE came in front of her eyes.She just couldnt believe what she saw..tears started to slip down continuously from her eyes.."nai….nai…aisa nahi ho saktha"she stood there mumbling while tears were doing their work of wetting her cheeks by flowing down continuously.

Meanwhile,who just came there to meet maan to know about his health condition found that geet is there in KM in maan's room so she came to meet her..

Pinky entered the room n found geet standing leaning against the cupboard.she could see the shocking expression on her face..she is still mumbling something while crying but pinky couldn't hear it..she followed geet's gaze n found reports on the floor..pinky understood that she came to know abt maan's disease..geet…she called her..

Geet who was in terrible shock didn't budge.geet..she shook her holding her arm..geet jerked with sudden touch n found pinky there..

Geet collected the papers which were lying on ground very quickly n showed it to her."pinky dekho na..kya bakwas likha hai ismein.."she said looking at those papers with digust n anger.

"pata hai kya likha hai ismein.."she threw them back with force on floor in anger.. pinky thought this would happen n she need to make her face the reality even though it's hard for her.she held geet's shoulder making her turn to face her.

"what ever was there in that report is true.."geet looked at her shocked..pinky nodded.."ha geet it's true that maan bhai is suffering from.."

"shut up!!!"geet snapped away her hands n shouted on pinky.."just shut up pinky..kya bakwas kar rahi ho tum??"

"geet whatever I said is true n u need to face the reality"pinky said equal loud in order to make gher understand..geet turned her face away as if she don't care her words rather say don't want to listen to her.

"geet pls try to understand..it is true geet..u remember maanbhai wanted to tell u something on that day but someone attacked on him…he was to reveal this truth to u..ha geet ye sab sach hai"she again held her arms making her understand.

"naiii…naiii..naiii"geet screamed loudly closing her ears tight while crying.."mein ne kaha na ye sab jhoot hai..mere maan ko kuch nahi huwa..wo bilkul teek hai samji tum"she screamed crying badly n snapped her hands again..

"geet plz"pinky is also crying badly till then not able to see her like that..she sighed n turned geet again to her.."ok then tell me why maan bhai kept these reports and medicines with him when he dont have any disease?"pinky asked her.

"muje nahi pata…but whatever u said is not true..mere maan ko kuch nahi huwa"she said moving away from pinky as if she don't want to listen to her.."beta it is true"daadi said who just entered the room.

Geet is again shocked now..she is listening everything she don't want to listen.."beta do u know why maan went away from u??do u know why he left to London leaving u alone??"daadi asked her.."ha geet do u know why maan bahi falls ill frequently."

Pinky n daadi explained her why maan left to London after vicky's fiasco,how he never wanted her to suffer becoz of his ill health.how he tried to tell her but was refrained from doing so..

"geet u are a doctor..i no need to explain u the symtoms of cancer right??"pinky asked geet who stood there like a statue recollecting all the incidents.how maan tried to reveal the truth that day??how she slapped dev !how maan used to fell ill frequently..she even noticed the blood stains on her dupatta on the day maan met with accident..she shrugged it but today everything was clear to her..

As soon as reality hit her rather say accepted the truth she broke down at the place n stood like a statue..

pinky n dadi came to her running.."beta be strong!!this is the reason maan hid the truth from u..he knew that u'll be shattered like this..plz beta be strong..and galat mat samajna use..he never thought to hide the truth from u but he was helpless beta n when he tried u were ready to face ur exams..so he kept quite again.."

"ha geet I was the one who stopped him..plz be strong geet.."pink seconds daadi.

"mere maan ko cancer kese hosaktha hai??"this is the only thing she mumbled in shock..she turned to daadi n repeated her sentence.."mere maan ko cancer kese ho saktha hai dadi??"she asked sobbing badly..

"nai..aise ke se ho saktha hai..kese??"she sobbed hugging her knees close.

"how can my maan have cancer..how??..nai "finally she cried loudly hugging her knees tight.

"how can my maan have cancer??"she kept crying badly repeating the sentence in between her cries.daadi n pinky who also were crying tried their best to pacify her but is that easy for them??

Geet who was not able to digest the fact got up abruptly n ran from there like a maniac as if she is running away from the reality as if she don't want to accept the fact..she kept running till she lost the strength to run..she stopped when she felt feeble n broke down on the ground..soon it started raining..it seemed as if nature started crying with her today consoling her but geet was not in a state to handle herself..

She cried badly sitting on road not even caring that she is drenching in rain..

"maan bhai ko cancer hai"

"whatever u saw is true geet"

Pinky's every word rang in her ears..her head started spinning..

"nahiii…naiii"she screamed loudly closing her ears as if she don't want to listen the truth..she kept crying sitting in the same position for long time..

Precap:

"u are under arrest mrs.pammi handa!!"the cop said.

Pammi looked shocked.."for attemptive murder"avoice came from behind…
