The Vigil Idiot: Student Of The Year
Director Karan Johar's Student of the Year stars his former assistant director Siddharth Malhotra (as Beefcake Abhimanyu), David Dhawan's son Varun Dhawan (as Beefcake 2 Rohan), and Mahesh Bhatt's daughter Alia Bhatt (as clueless Shanaya). There's also a role in there for Boman Irani's son Kayoze Irani for good measure. Now, I'm all for nepotism in Bollywood. Sometimes, good things can come out of it (the director of this film not being the least of them). Then again, sometimes you get Uday Chopra. This isn't that bad, honestly. The kids do manage to hold fort admirably enough. That's more than can be said of the script, though, as you'll find out soon enough.
