TV stars pay their tribute to Yash Chopra!
Yash Chopra

The nation mourns the sad demise of veteran and legendary filmmaker and producer, Yash Chopra, who died this evening at 5.30pm in Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital.

As the Scion of Yash Raj Films, he created a legacy that is survived by his sons Aditya and Uday Chopra. Remembering this wonderful human being, are celebrities from all walks of life who have been touched by Yash ji either through his films or their personal encounters with the man, who made romance believable and whose long standing career in films has left a mark on Indian cinema forever.

Ram Kapoor-I'm still in a state of shock. I was just with him last week during the screening of Student of The Year and he seemed totally ok. I can't believe he's gone. He was truly an ICON of the industry and he will be missed.

Sakshi Tanwar- I'm too shaken up to even accept the news.

Karan Tacker- He was the legend where romance was concerned. He made the best cinema with music that we still hum till date. Irreplaceable. He will be missed, that also on the brink of his last directorial venture, Jab Tak Hain Jaan. Wish his family well.
Siddharth Shukla- The world has lost the person who put romance in a billion hearts and a song on billion lips. Our loss is heaven's gain.

Eijaz Khan- It's a great loss. He made superb films like Daag, Kabhi Kabhi, Silsila and Veer Zara. He will live trough his films. The way he presented romance in films, no one ever could do it like him. He knew the pulse of audiences. He will be missed forever

Aditya Redij-He was a born romantic. Right from his first film Dhool Ka Phool to his last film Veer Zaara. His films tackled social as well as family values and issues. His passing away ends an ear of grand and meaningful cinema. We will miss this movie mogul. May his soul rest in peace.
Sumona Chakraborty-Wish I could work with him. I Guess that it will now always remain as a dream. I have absolute respect and admiration for Yash uncle.

Pawan Shankar- An era has come to an end. I mentioned to him personally during one of our meetings that the way he portrayed romance, made me fall in love with romance. I saw a big smile on his face and he simply said, "Whatever i have seen in my life, I try to portray in my films". He was the most down to earth person I have ever come across..
