first of all, Pia never wanted children and that was the main reason why she opted for an abortion without anyone knowing, because of this reason Pushkar and Pia fought and left each other.

Then why would she want children now!

I dont think that Jai and Bani will patch up. I think that Jai and Pia will eventually be together, as the book. Pia will not be able to have kids, and Bani will give her child to Jai and Pia, she will marry Pushkar and the will be friends first and then fall in love with each other.
