If that was to be asr kid , Arnav is not at fault neither Khushi. It was unexpected.
I would say it would be bad luck as such past incidents which might not be intentional but still it leaves bitter taste in future relationships ahead. So the bad luck is the culprit .

Noproblem that he was naughty with girls in his college life. There are playboys but it doesn't mean they are not serious about future and they suddenly get landed with a kid from a lady. Boys have flings but after a age they also seek some stability. Asr found stability for mean time in Live in with lavanya.No problem with him not being Virgin.
Even if he has a kid with a lady called sheetal unknowingly , can be a possibility. No issues. But for the sake of arnav 'khushi love sanctity we fans have demanded to skip this aspect. So try to understand . We know Arnav is not perfect.and had a colourful past.But for the sake of arshi relationship we don't want this kid angle.

Arnav-Khushi are desperate for each other but still that kid will be a reminder coz arnav cant ignore the child.Arnav can ignore, throw out Sheetal far from him and Khushi , but can arnav do that with aarav??No never.That is the real problem. If it was just about sheetal then Khushi would expect noproblem, she would think whatever arnav may have done in past forget it but now arnavji is mine. Audiences have no problem with other issues to create rift between arshi.But illegitimate child is a BIG NO. because as I told arnav can ignore any girl for Khushi but he cant hate his own son. Khushi will be pained internally but externally she might fake happiness to accept it
to show intense separation and emotions ppl cud have demanded to stop remarriage. there are other ideas to make it more intense.
