Mahishasur will approach Paravti & tell her he loves her beauty & wants to marry her. Paravti will challange him to fight a bttle with her & win. He agrees for the dual thinking a woman can never defeat him. Then Paravti takes Durgama form & kills him, from rival site

but never the less the story is damn interesting...

If they show how Aadi Shakti appeared from combined energies of Trivedas & how they all gifted her various weapons, jewellery, Lion etc will be good.

maybe this is the reason why Shubh and Nishubh 'gave up' thier desire to marry Parvati-since in a way the Mahishasur and the NS story over lap

so looks like the Cvs reserved that part for Mahishasur over Shumbh and Nishumbh since Mahishasur Mardhan is a celebrated event in India,and maybe it would look repeated if shown the second time!

Shumbha was the one who had not lustful aspirations - he formally wanted to marry Ambika, and the latter put a condition that she must be fought & defeated. Shumbha honorably wanted to marry her, and sent his proposal, and since the devi obviously couldn't agree, she put these rules and that started the war b/w the devis, their vibhutis vs the asuras - Dhumralochan, Chanda, Munda, Raktabheej, Nishumbha & finally Shumbha himself. It was a perfectly honorable war fought fairly by both sides - unlike the ones involving the devas or Vishnu.

This Mahishasur falling for her beauty, I've read on net, not in any scriptures, nor was it show in past shows about Durgama.

Let's hope they show a proper war between her & his Army with Mahishasur changing from Asura to Mahish & finally getting killed when he was coming out of his Mahish form.
