Mahishasur will be played by Deepak Jaitley.

Mahishasur will approach Paravti & tell her he loves her beauty & wants to marry her. Paravti will challange him to fight a bttle with her & win. He agrees for the dual thinking a woman can never defeat him. Then Paravti takes Durgama form & kills him, from rival site

i hope this sequence goes well...they didnt show Shubh and Nishumbh getting killed so i hope this sequence is executed well

but never the less the story is damn interesting...

I know that story of Mahi Mahi(Mahisahur) he thought that woman were weak species..he wasnt dissapointed when he saw the powerful Durga maa 🤣

He bhagwaan!!!! He wanted to marry her..what a fool🤡 but instead he got killed by her..this is so hilarioush!!

lol..isnt it the story of Shumbh-Nishumbh..???..why all DKDM asurs have lustful feelings for Parvati..???😡...Mahishasur needs to be managed well dis time...hope fully 😔

@shruti, Shumbh, Nishumbh will be shown in future.

If they show how Aadi Shakti appeared from combined energies of Trivedas & how they all gifted her various weapons, jewellery, Lion etc will be good.

In DSS this is Shumbh, Nishumbh's proposal. But some stories of Mahishasur mentions him as wanting to marry Paravti.😆 Aadi Shakti after killing Mahishasur merged in Paravti.

actually what even i was thinking is that Shumbh and Nishubh also wanted to marry Parvati

maybe this is the reason why Shubh and Nishubh 'gave up' thier desire to marry Parvati-since in a way the Mahishasur and the NS story over lap

so looks like the Cvs reserved that part for Mahishasur over Shumbh and Nishumbh since Mahishasur Mardhan is a celebrated event in India,and maybe it would look repeated if shown the second time!

I am praying that it will shown properly. I want to see a proper fight sequence unlike the one shown on Takki. And I also hope that it will be a 1 hour episode this time.

This is bakwas - Mahishashur never had any wishes to marry Parvati. He thought that women were weak, so asked to be killed by one, thinking that she'd first have to defeat him to kill him.

Shumbha was the one who had not lustful aspirations - he formally wanted to marry Ambika, and the latter put a condition that she must be fought & defeated. Shumbha honorably wanted to marry her, and sent his proposal, and since the devi obviously couldn't agree, she put these rules and that started the war b/w the devis, their vibhutis vs the asuras - Dhumralochan, Chanda, Munda, Raktabheej, Nishumbha & finally Shumbha himself. It was a perfectly honorable war fought fairly by both sides - unlike the ones involving the devas or Vishnu.

Shumbh did send Dhmralochana with his marriage proposat, Devi told him she has taken a vow, whoever will defeat her in war will marry her.

This Mahishasur falling for her beauty, I've read on net, not in any scriptures, nor was it show in past shows about Durgama.

Let's hope they show a proper war between her & his Army with Mahishasur changing from Asura to Mahish & finally getting killed when he was coming out of his Mahish form.
