I am passionate about many things ..But i have never analysed how i developed those passions ..But one of my school friend is in weird situation according to me ..He has been fond of cooking since childhood , we all thought he will become chef , he joined hotel management ,but left the course in 1 st year .He is now doing Masters in Computer science ..Before that he did BCA .He always tells me ,though computer science is not his passion .He is trying to make it his passion ..
I am eager to know ,
Is it possible to develop passion deliberately?

Passion is extreme liking for something.
But as far as work is concerned a person may do a job becoz he or she likes and needs the money. No passion needed becoz there is monetary reward.
If both passion and work can be combined it is ideal, but the mind is often fickle and we do get tired of doing the same kind of thing day in and day out.
Too much passion may be a hindrance to work too as one tends to be idealistic and not practical.
To do certain kinds of job may need the aptitude, looks like your friend is pretty versatile. Interest in certain things can be created certainly.

ya one can create PASSION Delibrately .
there are many people who dun know what to do in life , aimless , goaless.
so once you are in somthing and if you are serious about your life.
as u mention example of your friend ,
like he is in now some computer course or watever ,
if he takes that seriously and serious about his future than thing automatically will become your passion.

if you are not serious you will think it as a burden , u will think this is not for me and this not my passion etc stuff.

You have to be serious first for that thing ,
passion for somthing hota hai but when u actually do that u feel like u have taken a wrong choice etc.
so seriousness brings Passion According to me !

I don't think you can forcefully cultivate passion. It either exists or it doesn't. Every now and then people do surprise themselves by finding an unexpected passion. For example despite never being interested in computer science, a student may take a few courses and actually enjoy the subject. Sometimes the difference can be teachers, environment, peers etc. But ultimately, passion will be only ignited if there is a natural spark within. Some people will spend a lifetime loathing their education and career, hoping to somehow find passion. It won't happen.
