Spoilt Children

We may all have come across children who have gotten away with murder, and get what they want with a click of there finger but why do most of the spolit kids have to be 'nasty'? (couldnt think of the right word!)😛

Yes I am generalising here, but I've only ever met a few kids who have been spoilt rotten who are decent human beings. Then again the question rises, what makes a decent human being? (another topic)

Back to spoilt children, do you think that they can ever change? Why do parents feel compelled to spoiling thier children, by which they ruin the kids lives? Have you got any 'spoilt friends' and what are your experinces? 😊

I've got nothing against spoilt people, and hope that I'm not offending anyone. But I just hate parents who give into any qualms of there child, because it might be a 'he' or an only child. I can't find the quote I was looking for but when I find it I'll post it.😳

Well, people see me as being spoiled for two reasons. I am the youngest for my father who has two children from his previous marriage and I am the only child for my mother. So my friends say that is why I am spoiled, the truth is my parents treat me and my step siblings equally.

Enough about me though 😆 Reasons I have seen other children spoiled is because their parents want them to have everything they were not able to have at their child's age. They want to see their child happy, and I have seen some kids who throw really bad tantrums when they don't get what they want. I think if a parent spoils their child rotten all the time, there will be no change in their child's behaviour it will continue well into their adulthood. They will always want something that they can't have, and will depend on their parents for everything. As a child gets older, parents should slowly try teaching them they can't always get what they want, and stop giving into their demands. They need to show their child, that they are the adults and what they say goes.

well, a good eg is rahul mahajan, who was found taking drugs not even one month of his fathers death, and the articles which came out showing his extravagant style of partying,etc clearly shows he is not just spoiled but worser also with his family trying to justify and hide his mistakes, and parents are to be blamed for most of the cases, only child, or busy schedule , or too much money are just excuses, if they really want to give good upbringing to ur child, nothing can come in their way,

well i guess the main reason for a child to be spoilt is that he/she may not have been given enough time by the parents !! .... and thats the worst the parents can do ....
secondly giving money or costly stuffs at vey young age instead of love !! this makes it easy for the child to believe that he can get watever he wants with money !!

third is the type of environment he is brought up !! if the child is not taught wat is wrong and wat is right or is not punished for the mistakes he has done then he is spoilt !! he presumes that watever he does is correct !!
the main imp reason for the child to be soilt is blind love or excess of money and luxuries given by the parents !!

I have seen some spoilt children b'coz most of the times they r an only child

children become spoilt brats if they r pampered a lot n r nver taught the rite values.i feel parents r also 2 be blamed for this ,who never 1nce scold thr childrn or tell thm the difference between rite n wrong ,letting the children dominate.

Well, spoilt kids are kids who have been pampered and showered with everything they wanted they were young.

The biggest reasons that lead to spoilt kids are:-

1) The loss of one or both parents
2) The family is financially priveleged
3) If they're an only child or the youngest

Usually, its the parents fault for disciplining the child properly. I'm against spanking but they should set some boundaries and limits and maybe small time-outs when they're young so that they can get their fair share and realise the true meaning of life.

Spoilt kids usually think of life as their own toybox and that the world revolves around them. Whenever they dont get what they want, they throw horrible temper tantrums. Parents need to be stricter and if the parents are working, then they need to hire a governess of some sort who can help and discipline him/her.

I'm spoilt but not in the discipline sense. I just got a lot of gifts when I was a kid but my parents taught me how to behave with others and stuff.

It depends on your upbringing, your parents and also your overall conduct. 😊

my cuzs r spolit and it is so annoying becuz when they come to my house they want wut they want when they want it and it is so annoying and it is my anuts fault becuzs she was spoilt and she is spoiling the kids they have loans they dont pay but the kids get stuff in the hundrens my cuz got a shirt that was ripped and it was for 50 bucks when i have the same shirt i maded look lik that for 10

i was a really spoilt child when i was little (u know the one's screaming their heads off in the supermarkets, i was one of them), but i eventually grew out of it. Yes my parents do spoil me but they also make me understand the value of each item that they buy me, and why they buy it for me. It kinda makes me feel guilty but is a great way to spoil ur kids and not spoil them in a bad way. I do think that only children like me do often get spoiled, but it also often depends on whether the parents make them understand the value of materialistic objects.
