The relation that had hatred and debt as it's foundation has changed in the span of months ....Though it was not a normal marriage for both of them, more of an owner and servant relation as RK loved to assert. Yet they are true in their commitment. We have seen RK doing his best to humiliate her to break her spirit... but wud he have accepted it if someone else had abused her? I don't think so... he would not have tolerated it, coz to humiliate her was his Haq and only his.
Madhu's initial reference to him as 'Janwar', though it irked many was to a point right ... and I do believe the title suited Ballu better than RK... but then Madhu had no first-hand knowledge of what her father was... and torture does not limit to physical abuse. I am sure RK himself might not have felt so bad about being called so as we do😆😆.
OH! me diverting... ok so the time when she considered RK a janwar has long gone... once she saw the little Rishab hiding inside the ruthless image her husband loved to present. Added to that is her guilt in exposing him to his painful past he wished to hide. Unknowingly she became the cause of his torment. As she confessed again and again she did not understand what that snaps meant for him.... and she never meant to involve the rest of world in their fight. Now, she knows the reason for his ruthlessness to an extent.
Since the night of the party he has gentled towards her... whatever else he had done before, his assertion of her status in his life that one time while he thought she was not around was enough for her though he repeatedly claimed her to be his 9th servant... who can hold on to the antagonism against the person whose harsh words now seem to be a camouflage to hide his gentleness. Since that night in the studio he has given her no reason to hate him... but more reasons to admire and soften towards him.
To her, he has tried his best to make amendments to his callous treatment of Mallik by paying for the new machines which made his recovery possible so fast. She understands the pain of losing because she had nearly lost her father. Her faith gave her the strength to go on... to marry the person who had destroyed her life and then to stand up against him.
So may be her bringing Bappa home was her attempt to make amendments too ...to reunite him with his Friend from whom RK had turned away. From his mother she knew how much Rishab used to love Bappa. But with his father's death he had lost not just his father, his friend and eventually his mother too. She couldn't give him back his father, like he had given her father back to her, but she could attempt to reunite him with his Friend. Once that done, he could be nudged towards his mother too.
Madhu is a compassionate person, who finds it easy to like someone. We have seen it in her approach to Mukund. She may not have loved him but the realisation that he loved her and needed her was enough for her to say yes to his proposal. She does not have big dreams unlike Trishna. Many may find this aspect of her character 'frown-worthy' or 'below ...heroine' but I can identify with that trait of hers.
OK OK... coming back we can see her attitude towards Rishab changing. He is no longer the hero with a villian's attributes but a hurt bewildered child trying to hide his pain with arrogance and fierceness. He is aggressive because he doesn't wish people to see his gentleness. He is brutal because he fears pity. He is cold because he fears betrayal. His indifference is a cloak to hide his bitterness.
Her commitment to him demands that she should do whatever it takes to unite him with his mother, as much for his sake as his mother's. She couldn't his accusation that God was a mere stone win and lose him the moment when he had turned back to God. She couldn't take the burden of being the cause of his death. Again what she had done she did unknowingly. The first time guilt had pained her enough to bring tears to her eyes, now it made her risk herself and her faith in demand that Bappa should spare RK's life.
I would not say she is already in love with him but yes is definitely walking on that road and I feel the TLC he would need while he was in hospital, will be the push that makes her fall.
For RK who has denied his relation with all whom he had loved with his father's death and his mother's remarriage, Madhu has become the only relation he does acknowledge... remember his own words that in his screen he does not see Kukkuji, Sikky, dipz or his Mother... but Madhu does not fall in that category. Understanding her a little bit better now, he must know what she did against him was not an attempt to defame him. His gentleness towards her which started off as his attempt to soothe his father's memory has turned to concern for her. He no longer wishes to hurt her deliberately and wants to protect her. After the party there was never an occasion where he was brutal enough to make us wince.
Her being around him has become a habit and he is restless without her. Remember the occasion of him practicing his dialogues while she was had gone to the hospital? He was unable to remember his dialogues. But does he realise this change in him? I believe not... else he will become all the more merciless in his attempts to humiliate her and thus drive her away. He is arrogant and confident enough to acknowledge that she may fall for him and has warned her to keep on to her attitude that makes her say she doesn't like him... he knows she may not be able to resist him.
But the irony is that she will love him for the qualities in him which he does not wish her to see. And Rishab, who has deliberately locked himself away from tenderness, will find himself under attack with the same once he gains consciousness. How will his Biwi be able to spare from lavishing him with her tender loving care? How can she fight with her husband whom she had brought back from death? How long will he be able to resist falling for her devotion, when he is already committed to her?
So here I am waiting for TLC...
Who else is with me? Still i will miss RK's attitude if he turns too much of a gentleman...
PS: please pardon the errors, me feeling too lazy to look for it at present 😳
