Rani Mukherji's brother arrested on molestation allegations

Mumbai: Actress Rani Mukherji's brother Raja Mukherjee has been arrested for molestation.

According to the police, the complainant is an aspirant movie director, who wanted to cast Rani Mukherji in her movie and had approached Raja. The police say the woman claims that she had gone to meet Raja to discuss Rani Mukherji's casting when he molested her.

Raja has been booked under section 354 of the IPC for allegedly molesting a woman.

Quite frankly I am having a very hard time believing this news. I just can't see someone like Raja doing something like this. It's just not something I can imagine out of him. Its just so not like him.

I really hope some explanation comes out and it turns out it is not what the media made it out to be.The media tends to stretch the truth many many many times. I hope there is some huge misunderstanding in all of this.

The Mukherjee family is a respectable family. I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan. I'm genuinely sincerely saying that because I know that for a fact. He has such a lovely wife and beautiful 2 kids. I just can't see him doing something so cheap.

But for whatever reason if this turns out to be true, then it's going to be real bad and a real shame. It will not be good for the family. And it may hurt Rani too going further. : /

After Aiyya's failure another round of bad news for Rani. Apparently she thinks 3 is her lucky number and hence got the release date moved to 12th. But it worked out in a contrary manner.
