Har Har Mahadev,
I have read your responses and I respect you all that you are senior forum members. Like I mentioned before, I do not participate in forums - but I made an exception due to the negative that is being spread about this program. I encourage you all to view it with sharda.
However, you all again failed to see what I was really referring to. Actually, if you read the title of the episode, it is "Devon Ke Dev-MAHADEV"; hence the show is mostly about Mahadev, and not Adi Shakti.
Nowhere in the episodes has it being shown to degrade Parvati Mataji or her Avatars. She has been well portrayed in the Mahadev episodes. On these episodes, we are seeing the softer side of Parvati-ji rather then Adi Shakti. This program is not about Parvati Mata. If you recall in one of the episodes, Shivaji was explaining to Parvatiji that they are ONE, and we should not differentiate Shiva from Parvati, as Shiv is Parvati and vice-versa.
By the way, I do tend to view this as a "spiritual" program and not anything less. Any program that depicts our God/Goddess, or even uses our Lord's names, does become a means of spiritually for me. Just hearing the Lord's name is satisfying and pleasant.
I suggest that instead of still complaining, why you all do not request the producers that they make a serial based on Maa Parvati and her avatars. Alternatively, since you all are well versed on the mythological, maybe you all can produce such a show and see how the viewers will react. Therefore, please do think well of the program providers, writers, creative team etc. They are doing it as they have an goal to meet and that is to provide as much as possible in the 15-20 minutes of the daily episodes.
Again, I emphasize to please stop being so negative and instead be very glad to watch such programs in the television. If you view it with positiveness and pure mind, you will enjoy the program more and more- just like I do! It will become "Amrit" for you all too.
Jai Ho!

As your name suggests, you are certainly for peace. I really thank you for condescending to write in this forum and educate us on the niceties of this serial.
By the way, I do tend to view this as a "spiritual" program and not anything less. Any program that depicts our God/Goddess, or even uses our Lord's names, does become a means of spiritually for me. Just hearing the Lord's name is satisfying and pleasant.Oh thanks for the clarification. I was under the impression that this was a fictional serial - b'cos I could not find anything co relating with the Puranas.
But since you have clarified that this indeed is a spiritual (or, mythological) show - could you please explain what is the basis for some of the characterizations portrayed in the show?Again, I emphasize to please stop being so negative and instead be very glad to watch such programs in the television. If you view it with positiveness and pure mind, you will enjoy the program more and more- just like I do! It will become "Amrit" for you all too. That's where all our problems lie- I agree with you.
In my (highly prejudiced) mind, I always had an impression that Kartikeya was very charming, highly well versed, in fact, an embodiment of Knowledge itself. Now, I learn, - thanks to the makers of this serial - how arrogant and rude Skanda was to his parents. This does pain me- but as you have rightly suggested- I should watch it with "pure mind" then maybe I will also start enjoying the rude and arrogant Skanda which they are portraying.
u also agree with the fact that shivji and parvati are one then both should be given equal importance ...mata.parvati is not only the wife of shivji and mother of kartikeya ...she is jagat mata and her first priority should be the welfare of the common people and she has to be very strong mentally but cvs are potraying parvati as a daily soaps bahu who is always crying and cooking food for his husband and son...Har Har Mahadev,
