I am not a regular forum writer but today I have decided to write because I have had it! Indians world-world needs to stop thinking that Mahadev is a daily soap drama. It is not a daily soap but a "spiritual show" and the intentions of the program providers/producers are to educate viewers of Har Har Mahadev! It is a daily spiritual show and it is to enlighten us of Lord Shivaji and Mata Parvatiji. It is not about making the show melodramatic and foolish.

If you wish to watch daily melodrama, please watch the daily TV serials that are telecast daily too or opt to watch the Reality shows. On the daily soap serials, you can watch the saas-bahu drams or family dramas, watch all actors dressed like models 24/7 and full of daily dramas. I am sure that this is what you expect when you watch Devon ke Dev. Please stop complaining of this spiritual show or any other spiritual shows that are being provided. You all have started demanding of actors that ill fit the shows and do not look convincing but this show has surpassed all expectations. Each actor has so far full-filled their roles to perfection and the show have thus remained true to its origins.

I am very disappointed with Indians worldwide that keep on complaining and badmouthing about spiritual shows or programs. Instead of being positive and absorbing, the goodness of the shows, the teachings of these mighty personalities, we just sit and complain because the show does not have romance, the dramas, jewelry or clothing! Why do Indians always complain about their religions, God /Goddess, language etc….have you heard of Christians, Moslems, Sikhs complaining of their religion?

Instead, Indians need to complain to those non-Hindus that have been portraying our Lords inappropriately. There is so much misuse of our God/Goddess pictures and names all over. Have Hindus raised their voices against these people, organizations, web sites etc? Why are we so quite and compliant when we hear so much negativity against our religious, Gods etc? Please Indians Wake Up and voice out against those that misuse our god's names, pictures etc.

Therefore, I urge you all to be thankful of being blessed with the daily 15-20 minutes of the "Amrit." I apologize ahead if I hurt anyone's sentiments but truth always hurt.

m new to this forum but a regular viewer of Mahadev. i make it a point to watch it each day. it's a wonderfully made show depicting life of Lord shiva highlighting some of the facts which may be many of us did not know and also giving us an insight into our own mythology. it's a show par excellence!!

TM,u have seriously misunderstood the members of this forum.For ur kind information,we too love the spiritual knowledge which the show has given and that's the main reason why we are watching this show.We are not watching to see romance,drama,jewellery,etc.Members who wanted to see only romance felt disappointed and stopped watching this because they realised that this show is not about materialistic pleasures like love,romance between two individuals.Instead it's about the Aatma and the Parmatma.

First of all welcome to the forum dear.😊 Firstly, i guess you've read only a limited number of posts that specifically target what you just stated. Thats a little biased. True that people have been a little disappointed with scenes shown between Mahadev and Parvati. But you're largely ignoring that the 'amrit' that you're talking about is neither purely what you claim it to be. Many of us who watch the show for knowledge and spiritual purpose still maintain the fact that we're disappointed with the show of late, not because of the dress or jewellery(all are arbitrary) but because of the massacre of some of the main leads..especially devi parvati who we all regard as the epitome of shakti and the mother of the universe, and kartikeya. In that case, everyone has the right to vent their feelings out..its a forum. If people complaining about jewellery and drama irritate someone, the best thing to do would be to ignore it. Trust me, i don't think you've visited the forum completely dear. We have threads dedicated to spiritual discussions and a lot of exchange of knowledge going on. Taking a look at that would probably help you see my point. Anyhow, to each their own.

1. I am an Indian and extremely proud of it.
2. Nobody is bad mouthing anything.
3. This is no spiritual show even by a long shot. Spirituality has got nothing to do with God. spirituality is purely liberation from all thoughts from within the human mind. Some use meditation by taking gods name to reach the epitome of spirutuality.
4. This is a mythological show about our gods whose stories have passed down from generations. Shakthi or woman power is supposed to be supreme which the show is degrading. As this show is watched by youngsters and by people of other sects we protest against such depection.

We also do our bit against these sites and people. We do campaign against wrong portrayal. How do u know we don't. Please don't generalise.

Hahahaha now this is another theory. Keep them coming. We need to have different perspectives too. 😆
Ok if Parvati being showed too human is bothering people so much how bout another perspective.
Ok now we know that Parvati is handed the glycerin each time she has to do a shot and for Shiv it must be a bunch of papers with dialogues. Oh am sorry he does not have to even memorize them. He just stands with the same posture holding the trishul up to the skies where someone is holding up the dialogues in a big board for him to read it out. He seems to be doing better than the parrot with some and same animated expressions at times. How much fun is that😆
It would have been better if some knowledge was imparted even by some of the others in the show.
My suggestion give the show and actors a break. Let them relax, party and holiday and come back with batteries recharged and the makers can go through this forum in the meantime and work on a strategy to improve and not make it look like a daily soap. Show events properly. Never mind if the show ends but should leave an impact on people's minds.

when 90% of forum members are complaining against dkdm to become a daily soap then how can you say we are demanding for dkdm to be a daily soap???

It is becoming a daily soap and no more a mythological show. Shiv and Parvati as husband wife very good, Shiv and Parvati as parents excellent to the young kid but Parvati crying all the time and Shiv preaching is having adverse effect on the audience. We want to see Shakti equal to Shiv. The reason people watch and love this show to see that. All the rona dhona and drama anyways we get to see all that crap in other shows.
TRP for Mahakaali is an indication that people wanted to see the powerful roop of Shakti in the form of Ma Durga and Kaali.

We are neither complaining about lack of romance in the show nor the spiritual knowledge which it gives.We are complaining about the degradation of the most powerful Goddess of the Universe.We are complaining about Mata Adishakti being shown in poor light by the makers.The Parvati which u r seeing in this show is complaining,crying,concerned only about her husband and her son and keeps forgetting her duties towards the world,is blamed for creating hurdles in the path of jagat kalyan,who has to be reminded again and again by Shiv about jagat kalyan but still forgets it.This is not the real Parvati.Parvati is the mother of universe.All the living beings are her children.Yes,she was a pativrata woman who loved and cared her husband and her children but at the same time she never ignored her duties towards the world.She would treat everyone equally and would never feel guilty of doing that unlike this show's parvati.

And that's the reason we are complaining to the cvs and requesting not to show Mata Parvati so weak and emotional.As the viewers of this show,we have full right to do so.

We are not against any God or Goddess.We are against the weak portrayal of Adishakti.

Please don't bring religion and nationality into all these.
