Very well composed post dear👏👏👏(sorry don't know your name )

This is exactly what I am feeling right now.. the emotional connection is missing ...

We could connect with every scene of VirMan... many a times we had tears watching their scenes and their soul stirring performances

they are not just any normal lovers.. aaj dekha .. kal pyar.. parso shaadi types and with a minimum problem of family acceptance in between, VirMan had a heart wrenching and the most emotional journey together, which even the married couples could not have faced like them

The man who hated love, who hate love stories.,. who used get annoyed with the mention of a girl, fell in love with this girl hook line and sinker.. there were many obstacles between them .. if he wished to, he would have given up his love for her, when he came to know of her cancer...

but he stood firm, took all her problems right on his shoulders, cancer, her hair loss, her refusal, the family consent, he said he would be happy with her even if it is for a short duration ,her deteriorating health, his bhai and bhabhi forgoing their unborn to save the girl.. every step we had the emotional connection intact.. and finally the happy days are here .. they are about to get married ,,the word MARRIAGE gives us such a positive vibe, fun, masti and happiness.,. with which every one will connect

VirMan's band baaja baarat-

I would not be exaggerating, if I say this shaadi is one of the most disappointed shaadi on TV, in my 20 years of watching hindi soaps

till sangeet, things were okayish ,.. the haldi and mehendi were a major let down..all rushed in a matter of 10 minutes .. the chooda ceremony - 2 minutes .. the bride's sister being so depressing and sad during haldi and mehedi (for the so called dumb drama) sent out all the negative vibes

then comes the D-day.. ruined by the dramatic runaway by bride's sister.. fine I vented a lot that day for the senseless and idiotic drama ever on Indian TV

yesterday, Virat was no doubt the star.. he was all set to make things right ..took every thing on his shoulders..and brings the bride's sister back ..

and what he gets to do today is stand there while the bride's sister is going from person to person apologizing ... and the muhurat was about to get over they rush the shaadi .. waah kya baath hain .. what was the pandit doing all the while.. couldn't he stop the apologizing program in between and start the shaadi right away..

well.. ok all done with apologies.. now what .ab toh shaadi dikhado.. the major disappointment ,. I would have enjoyed it if they had shown the main parts like mangalsutra ... or sindoor ...or the pheres ..in a relaxed manner .. with them on screen, rather than with his bhai and bhabhi's romance in the background

It is a major let down .. I am not against his bhai and bhabhi .. but those few moments are for these guys..couldn't they cater a few moments of screen space to them...,. for heavens sake they were getting married, hope people understand the worth of sindoor, mangalsutra and phere in a marriage.. they would atleast come up with a better screen play and camera angles

the last few minutes of the actual essence of shaadi is completely ruined with the focus shifting to his bhai and bhabhi...

and the bidaai also .. one of the most disappointing on, i don't even want to talk about the BD

and dear as you said,., the whole emotional connection is lost with this ..couldn't connect to anything ..this is not what we expected..

all i can say is hope for some solid story line ahead.. after all, a girl can hope...can't she

thanks for the post .. i could vent out ..now i am all fine 😃

THIS IS IT...it ws for this i ws READY to accept n jhelofy all d DUMBNESS in shaadi track had they understood this...bt NO...they RUINED AT THIS POINT THE MOST...n thts wht DISAPPOINTED ME TO THE CORE...😡😡😡🤢🤢

since their official union things have been down hill for them - even during M's last days etc etc. i will not repeat whats been said in this forum over last few months. But this wedding took the cake! i mean even the pheres - i cant describe how i felt as i felt nothing! sindoor, mangal sutra vidai - the whole scenario leaving aside J's utter stupidity - even the couple them selves - there was no emotions at what was being achieved here after what they have been through. and considering their ability on emotions - what a wasted opportunity.

M's acting for the first felt overacting (i love all the couples here so i am not bashing but girls as to feel something when going through all the rasams

@bold esp red...

super agree...ek toh they super rushed d rituals of shaadi...n plus the way showed virman in d rituals looked like THEY WERE MARRYING JUST FOR THE SAKE OF IT...

I thought I was the only one feeling like this but nice to know there are many other's who feel the same.I reallly was expecting to see a magical fairy tale journey leading up to the wedding,a meaningful, soulful, heart touching story that portrayed the realism in Virmaan's love that we all have seen and Nishaal are so very capable of giving us.A journey of how the impossible became possible...both nearly losing one another at the hands of dreaded fate and then comes a ray of light at the end of the tunnel, giving a ray of hope.We should have got to feel, experience the impact ofhow happy and gratetful Virmaan both are in getting to see this very day that they never thought could ever be.Their should have been a magical, captivating setting that left us mesmerized for days but unfortunately there was no such thing. The chemistry, dialouges, scene imapct...just the whole Virmaan magic was missing. The vision that we had envisaged or at least hoped we'd get was totally shattered by this run or you wont catch the train aura. The whole Jeevika leaving bit especially today seemed so lame. Her coming back just like that at Virat's behest...I mean if that was what was etched out from the beginning then why bother.Even the whole behna magic seemed to have gone missing. The least they could have shown for emotional quoitient was Maanvi insisting to go look for her sister with Virat, that would have left more of an impact.Maanvi didn't seem that bothered enough that the love of her life her sister was missing on her wedding day.She was bothered but not bothered enough...If you know what I mean! The Mannu we know would be over dramatic especially if she knows her sister had left her for maybe ever on her very wedding day...she wouldn't be just standing tehr crying like an abla nari she'd be out there searching for her sister even before Virat made that suggestion of going to search for his bhabhi. That rawness, the realism, the pull at the heart string in general all has dissapeared some where down the line and don't know if they can bring it back.In my heart of hearts wishing, hoping that it all comes back once again.

Hey can you guys keep filling this thread with such awesome VM only reviews, without any comparison with other characters or couples of the show..
I wanna mail this thread link to SP.. I am sure it won't do any good, but no harm in trying.
Enough is enough..
Hope you are fine with it Petrova•fire :D

i would second that! I mention couple of days a go - do they watch what they produce? do they have common sense - even my 10 year old daughter can script it better for her drama classes. as everyone has mentioned in this thread as well as in the forum - you do not even treat ordinary run of the mill couple like this. And after Virman's epic history - this is bismal. I mean they have made horrendous bloppers along the way but this is the limit

I really am in acceptance with most of u here about the Virman wedding ceremony being the worst ever on the history of television… Though I had kept my expectations to a dangerously lower level from when the wedding track started , yet the wedding ceremony today left me depressed and disappointed to a great extent..

Cos I knew that there was a parallel track with jeevs leaving and so I had expected drama in the wedding and was ready to take it as it comes…But was also disappointed with the way in which the jeevs track ended without any drama at all.. As I have commented in a different post , what was the need of the so called hype abt jeevs leaving the wedding if it had to end like this… If this was the way to end the jeevs track then atleast I wud have been happy with just a virman wedding without any drama…

The whole of the wedding track did not do justice to the love story of Virman which was so lovingly portrayed in the show…What was more disappointing to watch was the virman wedding shown as ordinary function where Viren-jeevika were made to patch up… I do not have a problem with Virika patch up and romancing, but the virika romance and the Virman tying magalsutra and sindoor was shown simultaneously with the focus on the former… It was the Virman wedding for Gods sake.. Cud they not have shown these two scenes separately…

Copying my comment from another post: The Virat –Maanvi wedding which was rushed was what left a bad taste in the mouth.. Two people who are very much in love, who fought against all odds to come together, ppl who lost and found their love, and fought death to be together, had to cherish their togetherness...That would be what wud have made the coming together of Virman in a wedding more beautiful… If at all some more time cud have been given to explore the emotions of the couple to be married the Wedding would not have been such a great disappointment ..

And I am not going to tell myself again or agree with ppl telling that Virman scenes are awaiting.. It was Virman wedding and if I cud not find a better scene here then I don't expect to find it anywhere…If I cant enjoy the virman wedding , where I cud not get a proper virman emotional scene to which I can connect then I am really not going to enjoy the hot romantic scenes from the HM or SR or whatever that few ppl have been expecting and promising to wait for… Cos for me virman are never abt those touchy touchy hot hot scene ones…. Fell in love with virman even without these sort of scenes…

I really dont get it.. Sure the whole team works really hard and all that, but for this ? If we as viewers can feel so bad, they as creators feel nothing when they see things getting ruined ? Can't understand !!

funny thing is, they could have very well 'saved' the ruining of VM track, if not made more special, just with 10 more minutes.. Forget the rushed mehndi haldi chooda and all that,
A 6 minute scene at end of cancer track, highlighting V's decisionmaking b/w M v/s J..and his breakdown after what VM chose.. And M's concern on leaving V if she might die..
and a 4 minute detailing of main marriage rituals and U could have atleast saved VM a bit..
They couldn't give us even ten more minutes without touching any other scenes ???

And what irks me more is the hardwork of the four amazing leads going waste' Nia and kushal had told in an int that they have been with these heavy costumes and makeup for nearly 3 days.. So it obvious that Karan and krystle too wud have been' And the whole cast too' And these 4 managed to give the best of their performance with whatever script was provided to them' When the cast is working so hard I don't find it wrong in asking the people preparing the script to come with really solid storyline and tracks' When these 4 cud give their best in the worst track , why not use their talent to give something productive and enjoyable' And it becomes difficult for the fans to not appreciate the work of their favs when we know the effort they have put into scenes even if the outcome is not worth it...

And I really do not want to go to the editing part today' It was the worst ever'

How I wish they had played some important flashback during main marriage ceremony, VM thinking of those moments, with each phera..realising how difficult it has been to reach this day..

pahle they used to give us flashbacks, every single day, even when they could be avoided, and now when i think, they were important, it was all null and void..
I have always felt that their hand-holdings have been analogous to vows of marriage in a way..
And both of them have always lived by those vows, despite not being officially married..
Be it, the hand holding in chemo-side effect scene..where she says, tum har angle se mere partner ho, sachche partner and he promises that he will never break their partnership..
Or the next scene, where she gives him the right to pray and wish from her behalf, when he places her eyelash on the back of her hand.. The scene where he lifts her veil in baldness track, omg there are so so so many modified VirMan vows and scenes analogous to this, they wasted all the opportunity.. When they could have shown it in the next episode also..
Don't get the reason of hurrying things up like this, as if they have another of their so called 'kick-ass' track that they are waiting to start :-/ Even the actors were so tired, that i guess NiShal must be like, jaldi khatam karo yaar phere.. Lol even if not intended,i could feel NiShal hurrying for it, along with VirMan :P dont blame them at all...
How I wish we could get a VM on pheras intermingled with those meaningful bits from VM story.. And a good song/Shaan tune going with it.. *sighs*
