CROONER 150 : Arr-rrr-nav nd Blushes - NOTE pg 56

First of all,heartiest congratulations Priya for the 150th crooner!🤗

Warning: Since I'm combining my takes for thursday & friday's episodes, this is going to be a long.. post.

Thursday's epi starts off with Nani asking Arnav to stop Anjali before the whole house catches fire.
"Nahi! Jalne dijiye.. Hum unki koi bhi cheez is ghar me kabhi nahi dekhna chahte!"

Now I loved how the cvs showed Anjali's thought processes throughout this epi!
Starts off with her question to Chhotey,why me?
"Unhone humare saath aisa kyun kiya?"
then she tries to think where she could hav gone wrong: "Humari kya galti thi?"
Then she blames it on the misfortune of her family "Pata hona chahiye tha.. Papa ne bhi mamma ko aise hi dhokha diya tha naa?Toh humari kismat me kuch alag kaise ho sakta tha?"
Why should the baby pay for her mistakes? "Humare saath jo hua so hua,lekin humari rajkumari?Uski kya galti thi?"
Then she questions,is she not entitled to happiness "Kya humein kisi khushi ka haq nahi hain?Kyun khushiyaan aane se pehle hi humse chhin jaati hain?" First her parents died,then her marriage broke and now she lost her baby & came to know that the husband whom she worshipped was a scumbag. Already she's having a problem with her foot. How devastated must she feel? I felt really,really sorry for her.
Arnav got so emotional that he could not say anything..He just kept listening to her.
And then again,anjali,like every other person,who stops grieving after a while & accepts the reality,checks her emotions.
"Ab hum aadmi k liye aansu nahi bahayenge!"
Then she acknowledges the love of her Chhotey,her family for her.They saved her from the clutches of that devil.
"Tumne apni rakhi ka vachan nibhaya hai!Tumne humari raksha ki hai! Aur Khushiji,aapne bhi!"
I was so glad that she acknowledged Khushi!
"Aaj humein samajh me aaya hai ki parivaar aur apno ka matlab kya hota hai..Aap sab ne humein bachaya hai!Hum vaada karte hain,is pyaar,apnapan aur lagaav ko hum kabhi nahi bhulenge!"
"Ab sab achchha hoga!Aur jab aap sab humare saath hain,toh bura toh ho hi nahi sakta!"
Everyone watches Anjali bitiya/di with tears in their eyes. They're all so happy that she finally realized the truth about that man & got freedom from the "jhoot ki neev par khada rishta"!And also her belief in her family & her will to move on & look at life with positivity must hav made them all proud of their bitiya/di!
All the actors' expressions were fab during this scene! 👏Special mention of Barun,obviously! 👏Ek bhi dialogue nahi but the way this man emotes through his eyes,his facial expressions,his tender touch,his hug,beyond fabulous!
Later that night,Khushi is about to change her clothes,when Anjali comes to meet her.
"Di,aap theek toh hain?"
"Ha.Aur aap?"
Both their hugs were really nice!DB was awesome in her scenes!👏
Khushi apologizes for the skit & says she never wanted to hurt her.Anjali acknowledges her efforts.She knew the act was an eye-opener for her, but it must have been difficult for Khushi to enact it. And she could imagine what Khushi must have gone through while performing the act.She accepts that it did hurt her.. "Haa,humein taqleef hui.Lekin aap yeh bhi dekhiye naa ki humein sachchhai aur banaavat ki parakh hui."
"Humare rishte ki koi neev nahi thi.Jhoot aur fareb par tika hua rishta,zyada der tak toh zinda nahi reh sakta naa?"
Anjali,in turn,apologizes to Khushi for ignoring her previous warnings.
Khushi provides sum much needed encouragement to her di.
"Samay har ghaav ko bhar deta hai.Aapka zindagi ki saari khushiyon par poora haq hai aur aapko woh saari khushiyaan milengi!"
"Bas aap muskuraate rahiyega! Aur hum aapse vada karte hain,zindagi aapko muskurane k kain mauke degi!"

I loved these two dialogues! Dialogues throughout the epi were awesome,so hats off to the dialogue writer!👏
Khushi being Khushi couldnt bear to see her disheartened di.She made her realize that it was not the end of the world,nor her happiness. She has every right to b happy! And she will be happy in future! Wow!
"Aaj aapne saabit kar diya-kuch rishtey khoon ki rishton se badkar hote hain!Dil k rishtey sabse badkar hote hain!"

Didnt babuji always say something similar to Khushi?

The man in the shadows watches them with a smile on his face. He's proud of both of them!
I loved the triangle formation,when Arnav came n sat near Anjali's feet-Khushi was at the apex while Arnav & Anjali were at the base.
"Jab tak aap humare saath ho,kuch bura to ho hi nahi sakta,hai naa?"
In response,Arnav kisses her forehead.How tender was that kiss!😊

And then the sun rises! Hay re Nandkisore! Another skipped night scene!?

The morning scene changed the entire mood of the episode! Loved Sanaya in this! Hats off! Only she can pull off Sanka devi avatar with so much finesse!Waise Barun was no less! But my concentration was more on his tie & clothes than on his dialogue delivery.Ufff,teri ada!
Meri ada bhi aaj kya kar gayi!
Yahaan jitne bhi dil hai tabaah kar gayi!

I'm sure,fandom k dil toh tabaah ho hi gaye honge! He looks so sexy in black! I used to love him in the white shirt,but now I love him equally in the black shirt! Waise woh kuch bhi pehen le,he would look great!

Coming back to the episode,Arnav tells Aman over the phone to cancel all his meetings for the day.
Khushi is elated! I loved how she linked the fact ki meetings cancel kar di,matlab Arnav would b doing something special for her.
"Kuch light color ka cotton me pehennna" Khushiji,follow patidev's advice & get rid of ur anarkalis! Shaadi se pehle wale cotton dresses were so much better!
When he tells about Sunglasses,Khushiji thinks ki Arnavji dhoop sekne jaane ka program bana rahe hain? Khushiji,r u...?
she is even more shocked when Arnav mentions about "ghudsavaar" and there begins the ghode ki gaatha!
First she's apprehensive & awkward kyunki "Humein ghudsavari toh aati hi nahi hai!"
Then when she's told that she is only required to watch them,she feels even more awkward.
"Kuch log ghudsavari kar rahe honge aur hum unhe dekhte rahenge! Agar wohlog aage nikal gaye toh hum kya karenge?"
Khushiji ka idea is ki ek sadak pe kuch log ghudsavari kar rahe honge,aur Arnavji aur Khushiji sadak k kinaare baithkar unhe dekh rahe honge. tabhi toh she asks the next question.Logical naa ,agar wohlog sadak k paar aage nikal gaye,toh Arnav-Khushi kya dekhenge?
I dont blame Khushi for thinking what she thought.She's never been to race course so she obviously has no idea about it. Arnav should've explained everything to her.
Anyways,she says she wants to do something better.
"Jaise?"
"Jaise picture!Salman Khan.."
Even before she could complete the sentence,Arnavji rejects the idea.
She tries to point out the various merits of bollywood movies.
"Pyar bhara iqraar,dhishum-dhishum aur dher sara drama!"
Arnav is not impressed.
"Villian toh sabse zaroori hota hai,kahani ko masaledaar banane me!" We got ur point,cvs. Aap apne villian se bahut pyaar karte hain aur usne jitna masala daalna tha utna woh daal chuka aapki kahani me! So now,can u plz send ur ghoda-ghodi on some barfeele pahad for their honeymoon?We wont mind nachna-gana!
After her ghode ki gatha is over,Arnavji is still hell bent on going to derby.
So she acts all disappointed and Arnavji par turant asar ho gaya!
But alas! Woh asar nahi hua joh Khushiji ne chaha tha.
He wants to watch an English picture.
A debate starts between husband-wife about Hindi v/s English movies.
Loved Sanaya/Khushi's kick & her expressions when she says "Mara Dilli,gira Jalandhar!"
According to movie junkie Khushiji,English films banane wale kanjoos hote hain,kyunki woh log picture ko 2 ghanto me khatam kar dete hain!
"Kise jaldi hai theatre se baahar aane me?Picture poore teen ghante ki honi chahiye,poora paisa vasool!" Jai ho Khushiji!
When they're discussing about the clothes of HW actresses,she says "Hey Devi Maiyya! Hum toh kabhi aisa kapde.."
Arnav didnt allow her to complete her sentence. I felt she would've said "na pehne!"
But Arnav completed the sentence with "pehen hi nahi sakti!" indirectly challenging her & is baat ka nateeja Friday k episode me nikla.
Arnavji again is adamant on watching a HW film.
So again Khushiji aazmaaos the same formula!
I loved the way Arnav shook his head when Khushi was reciting the drama queen "patni dharm" dialogues!
How happy was Khushi when Arnav agreed?! The hug was short but adorable!
Poor Arnavji! He didnt know what he had signed up for!

In the next scene,the whole family is getting ready with a picnic basket,chay,cold drink,the works to go out.Arnav thinks they're goin for a picnic.
Looks like the Raizadas' have never been to a multiplex.Tabhi toh woh log pura picnic basket lekar jaa rahe the.Itna toh koi single screen theatre me bhi na le jaay!
Waise,bahut dino k baad Akash ne Paayal ko Paayalji kaha! Aur bahut dino baad usne apne chashme pehne!Akas bitwa,bhat haippened?
Anjali di comes & adds more confusion.
"Hum soch rahe the ki aaplog jaiyye hum ghar par hi rukte hain."
"di hum aapke bagair kaise jaa sakte hain?"
"humara mobile kamre me reh gaya hai,hum lekar aate hain!"
Waah! Di badi jaldi maan gayi picture dekhne k liye!

Loved NK's tshirt. "Mr. Strong,lets pump!" 😉
Loved mamiji's "Hello hi byebye!Egjiting bidout Manorma! Hum tau hed (points to toes) se le kar toj(points to head) tak redy hain!"Utkarshaji, u r superb!
Finally mamiji n NK clear Nannav's confusion.
"toh sab movie dekhne jaa rahe hain?"
"Ha! Koi toh chahiye humare saath seeti maarne k liye!"
Mamiji ki seeti was damdaar haan!
"toh yeh tumhara idea hoga,right?"
"haa!"
Ise kehte hain sapne dekhe jannat k aur pahuch gaye jahannum me!
"Ek baar jo humne Salman Khanji ki picture dekhne ki thaan li naa.."
"Uske baad toh yeh Nannav ki bhi nahi sunti!" Yeah right!
"Jaldi chaliye warna aanewali picture ki trailer miss ho jayegi!" Trailor k liye itna?! Hey Bhagwan! Arnav must b thinking pata nahi kaunsi manhoos ghadi thi jab maine picture jaane k liye ha kaha tha?!

The next scene was OTT,for sure,but Sanka devi was in full form,joined by mamiji,naniji n NK.
Loved some of the dialogues.
Mamiji's "Sasuma ekdum centuries old hain!" made me LOL,esp. after the look naniji gave upon hearing that!
"Bechare!Zyada bolte nahi hain!" I was like,Khushiji shukar manao ki patidev bol nahi rahe hain aur chupchaap khade hain! Varna unka bas chale toh haath kheechkar theatre se baahar lekar chale jaate aapko! Waise her patidev was thoda zyada hi shaant,nahi? I mean,he didnt even say "Khushi, tum meri beizzatti karaa rahi ho!" like he did during the handpump scene or something on the same lines.
Loved Aakash's "Bhai nahi bolte?!"
NK's "Beemari!? No beemari!I'm perfectly fine! U want to see dola-shola!" uff! Ek se badkar ek sample hain sab k sab!
"Yeh salman Khanji k bahut bade fan hain!" Some reference to Sukhi of MAMR,was it?😉

"Ee three things ko kabhi underestimate naahi karat hain-I,me or... what the!"
On a side note,I was happy! Munh se what the toh nikla! Arnavji ki chuppi mujhe pareshan kar rahi thi!
"Aapko pata hai,shaadi k barso baad,aaj inhone humein khoob pyaar se kaha,ki chalo Khushi,aaj hum tumhe Salman Khanji ki film dikhane le chalte hain!" The look Arnav was giving to Khushi while she said that was like "R u serious woman?!"
Finally,bechara guard thak gaya n he allowed them inside with all their bags & baggage!

Ready? Mujhe toh laga tha ki Ek Tha Tiger dikhanewale hain. Ek saal se bhi zyada purani movie choose ki cvs ne. Aur pehle jab Khushi baithne wali thi tab NK ne kaha trailor start ho gaya hai. And then they showed the same clipping on Friday as the movie.Waah!

Arnavji ko laga ki andar jaane k baad,sabke baith jane k baad romance karne ka mauka milega,par kahaan?Arnavji ka din hi kharaab tha! Andar jaane k baad bhi no respite.He pulled Khushi to a corner,thinking ki sabke baithne k baad,woh aur khushi saath me baithenge. Par unki aisa kismat kahan? Khushiji toh dhadaam se Nanheji k paas baith gayi,Arnavji was left sulking in the farthest seat from her.
Aww! poor baby!

Coming to Friday's epi,Khushi notices Arnav busy with his mobile,a serious expression on his face.Mujhe laga,chalo,bandi toh samajh toh aaya ki banda kyun ukhda hua hai. Par nahi! Use toh laga ki"Arnavji naraaz hain kyunki unhe mathri nahi mili!" I had a facepalm moment!
Yeh ladki... haay Allah!
Haay, Haay re Allah!

Awww! He couldnt bear to see her cry,despite knowing that she was crying for a fictional movie character! I loved it when he passed her handkerchief towards her,lekin.. woh kehte hain naa.. "Kabhi,kabhi insaan ki kismat itni kharaab hoti hai ki woh oont pe chadkar baithega tab bhi use kutta kaat khayega!" Arnav ki haalat aisi hi ho gayi! His expression when mamiji took the kerchief made me ROFL!
Haay re Nandkisore! NK was also crying!?😆 Karan was superb with his crying act as well!
And I loved the way he said "Sallu!" in his accent!
"Areh waah! Kya plan banaya hai Arnavji.. matlab Salmanji ne!" Ise kehte hain dil ki baat ka zubaan par aa jana! Dil me Arnavji hain toh naam unhi ka nikla moonh se! Arnav immediately looked at her when she took his name,par phir jab Salmanji ka naam liya,Arnavji ka para aur chadh gaya..
Interval me sablog popcorn lene chale gaye? And Aakash bitwa was happily sipping colddrink from the paper cup. Toh ghar se utne bade basket me kya bhar k laaye the? aur nikalne se pehle Aakash k haathon jo Thumbs up ka pet bottle tha uska kya hua?!
LOL! Arnav ne apne bagal wali seat par picnic basket rakhkar Khushi k liye jagah rok kar rakhi!
I loved the way he pulled her by her arm & made her sit next to him!
Lekin kya fayda hua? Khushiji toh phir bhi movie me doobi rahi aur Arnavji ko romance karne ka ek mauka nahi mila.
He glared at her,refused to hav popcorn,phir bhi Khushi ko kuch samajh nahi aaya? 😲Unbelievable man!

Ek toh Khushi ne romance ka koi mauka nahi diya,oopar se constantly NK k saath chapad-chapad karti rahi! Yahaan ghar pe baithe-baithe main irritated ho rahi thi toh wahaan baju me baithe-baithe Arnav ko kaisa lag raha hoga?
Aisa lag raha hoga:
Bairi piya,bada re bedardi!Eesh! Tsk,tsk,tsk...
Bairi piya,bada bedardi!
Dil ka dard na jane

Kisi ne notice kiya? Movie khatam hone k baad sabse pehle Arnavji seat se uthe! I was like... What a relief!
Waise,Heer Ranjha k act k baad pehli baar poori family saath baahar nikli thi.That too sans Shyam! I so wish Arnav ne thoda enjoy kiya hota! Lekin, koi nai,there's always a next time! Though a doubt,after this experience,Arnavji kabhi family k saath jana pasand karenge!

Oh-ho! Arnav ne jo meetings cancel kari thi,unko wapis rakh liya? Jab Khushi room me aayi,mujhe laga,yeh hi mauka hai! Rok le Arnav ko office jane se!
But she was on a totally different tangent!I was like yeh ladki kya bole jaa rahi hai?Mamiji ne gaadi me gana gaya,Nanheji ne item song k dauran seeti bajaayi toh usse Arnavji ko kya problem ho sakti hai Khushiji!?
Arnav was right when he say "U dont understand me!"
Waise NK ki baat sunkar Arnavji ka para satve asmaan par chad gaya!

"Ek kaam karo: 12 se 3 nani k saath,3 se 6 mami k saath aur 6 se 9 NK k saath! Aur phir bhi thoda time bach jaay toh ghar aakar so jaana!"
Indirectly Arnavji ne raat ki.. ahem ahem activities par ban laga diya! 😳
"Phir Arnavji,aapne humein pehle kyun nahi bataya?"
"Right! Pehle batana chahiye tha! Kab batata?Jab tum seeti marne ki planning kar rahi thi tab,ya jab trailors dekhne k liye sabko dhakke maarkar aage jaa rahi thi tab?"
Chalo,der aaye durust aaye! Khushi realized what went wrong where & made amends,Sanka devi style,theek hai,but atleast she admitted she was wrong n made efforts to cheer him up! And I'm glad Arnav appreciated it..

Yahaan toh chumma bhi nahi mila,sirf hug mila!Aur hum toh precap ko dekhkar kya khayaali pulao bana rahe the!

Khushiji ka white frock dekhkar mujhe mere bachpan k birthdays yaad aa gaye. My mom was obsessed with frilly frocks! And I despised them! Har birthday pe pink,yellow ya white frock till I was some 8 or 9 years old!

Sanaya rocked all three outfits!Waise wasnt the red shirt the same one which arnav had worn during one of the swami epis,when mamiji had called him "lal chhadi,maidan khadi?" cvs ka bharosa nahi! Us ko alter kar k Sanaya ko de diya hoga!
Coming to her Hollywood heroine act, I loved how she sang I love u! So sweet! Arnav smiled when she added Arnavji after the first I love u!
And that aaj mausam hai suhana ka naya version was awesome!
The bg score during the last outfit was superb!
Khushiji ki lipstick ajeeb hai! Light off hoti hai toh plum lagti hai aur light on hote hi bold red color ki lagti hai!

Arnav's clients surprised him big time! Chalo,Khushi ki wajah se nuksaan nahi hua,fayda hi hua!
Barun's expressions while saying excuse me & thank u were the best!👏And lol! Arnav kept holding her outfits in his hands,like he kept holding the baalti during the holi epi!

Arnav got angry on her,jayaaz si baat hai.

"How could u do this Khushi?Tum mere office me aakar yeh sab kaise kar sakti ho?Yeh mera office hai!Main yahaan kaam karta hoon!"

"Woh..maaf kar dijiye Arnavji! Humne socha humein bhi aapki English filmon ki heroine ki tarah hona chahiye,aapko manaane k liye?Lekin hamesha ki tarah sab kuch gadbad ho gaya!"

and that was the end of his anger!

"Hum kapde badal kar aate hain!"
"Maine badalne k liye kaha?" aap kyun kahenge?Aap ko Khushiji aur laal rang dono bahut pasand hain! 😳

"I understand,tumne jo bhi kiya kyun kiya.."😊

"Whats the plan?" loved the way he said it!
"English picture ki do ticktein. Hum skirt pehenkar jayenge,saree ya suit nahi! Aur hum English me baat karenge!"

I liked Khushiji's plan.I so wish humein bhi us ki ek jhalak mili hoti.. lekin cvs hain ki ramanchi karne pe tule hue hain! Pehle night scenes kaat diye aur ab yeh!

Waise I loved the whole "Yes Arnavji,Ji nahi,Ji?Nahi!" thing and how he made her call him Arnav!

"Tumhe mujhe manaana hai toh Arnavji bolna band karna hoga!"
"Hawww!Hum aapko moonh pe Lard governer kaise bula sakte hain?" I was like,hamesha ulta hi sochengi Khushiji!
"I meant Arnav."
"Arnav..ji.."
"Ar... nav!"
"Arnavji"
"Arnav"
"What?" hmmm! Shaatir dimaag pati caught that slip of tongue immediately!😳
"Ar..nav!"

Loved how Khushiji blushed and hugged him! ☺️

"Khushi,tum janti ho tum bahut hi...
"Ajeeb hain?Jaante hain!"😊

Loved the hug! But I wish he would hav kissed her forehead! And that loose tendril of hair was screaming for his attention! But he didnt tuck it behind her ear! Why this kolaveri Arnavji?

Overall good epi. I loved the later part of the epi more than the movie,that part was irritating.

Now its Arnav ji's birthday.And that too shaadi k baad ka pehla janamdin & Khushiji wants to make it special for him.
While the family warns her,he doesnt like to celebrate his birthday.
Kya Khushiji k birthday plans fail ho jayenge?Ya kamyaab ho jayenge?
