Talking about his journey in TV, Kunal states, "I completed my graduation from HR College and wanted to try my luck in TV. I got a 40 day cameo in Pratigya after which I auditioned for many shows. Finally I got selected for The Buddy Project. I am a fresher in the industry and working with Gohil Sir (Manav gohil) helps me learn a lot. Since I have the hunger to learn, this show is the perfect break for me."
On his love life, Kunal confides, "I am not dating anyone but I am very open to dating."
When asked whether he resembles his on-screen character when it comes to attracting the opposite sex, the actor immediately states, "Not at all. I am exactly opposite to my on-screen character. I cannot gel with people easily, and I am an emotional person. However, Ranveer does not care about others' emotions and is very outgoing."
