Nandu signs Yash Chopra film...

Gaurav Gera who plays Jassi's (Mona Singh) best friend in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, is packing his bags. Gera has recently bagged a role in a Yash Raj film, directed by Arjun Sablok, and is all set to fly off to Vancouver for the shoot.

Indian parade

"I am really excited about being a part of such a prestigious project. All I can reveal is that it's a fun role. I am leaving on August 8 for Vancouver, Canada, where I will be shooting for the film. Apart from shooting, I am also taking part in an Indian parade in New Jersey."

Different from Nandu

On television, the actor will now appear in a totally different look, in Hungama's adventure drama, Hero. "I play a boy who turns into a monster. This is something I have been looking forward to, since it's different from what I'm currently doing. My look will be completely different from the Nandu you see on Jassi."

Gaurav is also a part of the Great Indian Comedy Show, on Star One. "Doing the comedy show is a huge de-stressing experience. It's so much of fun, and the response has been amazing."
